After a tough loss to the Chicago Bears on Monday night, Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins lost his cool with an opposing fan. Collins can be seen getting so upset that he throws his mouth guard at the man heckling him.
Collins admits that he got upset, and he’s since apologized. But he says that his response was the result of being called the “n-word”:
The argument between Collins and the fan comes on the heels of a pee wee football brawl between opposing coaches. That scuffle involved sucker punches and resulted in two lifetime bans:

Posted on September 30, 2010 at 10:12amIt is the Media that has blown this story out of proportion with the “N” word allegations. Collins was more upset with the fan spitting on him. Personally I would have climbed in the stands and taken care of business. You can say just about anything in this Country but spitting on someone is criminal and Collins has the right to defend himself. Anyone who follows sports knows that Chicago fans are extremely infantile and not accustomed to winning. If you watched the game Monday night you know that Chicago did not win but rather Green Bay LOST that game. Perhaps the fans just don’t know how to behave when someone gives them a gift. Spitting is certainly unacceptable.

Posted on September 29, 2010 at 11:45pmYou know the USA was nearly color blind until OBAMA became president and I believe it would have continued. Until he decided to become the Divider And Chief. With his terrible policies and flaunting of the US Constitution. Then when people spoke out they immediately became Raciest.
All the gains since the 50‘s and 60’s are quickly reversing, people are seeing colors again.
Report Post »I would imagine African Americans are upset. OBAMA is a terrible example.
It is a total shame.

Posted on September 29, 2010 at 7:32pmWhat are we to believe? You have a black Senator claiming he was called “the N word” in front of thousands — And nobody can come forward with one of the thousands of cameras to collect $100,000.
That’s a FACT!
Hypothesis: It must have been a leftwing inciter (community organizer), based on their long and illustrious history of Alinsky pranks like this! ie. create chaos, hatefulness or spite and then point to the other guy as the culprit….

Posted on September 29, 2010 at 5:17pmBeing a highly over paid adult that plays or coaches a GAME for a living doesn’t make you special. If the fan did use the “N word”, that’s shameful, but the player should just shrug it off and think of his fat pay check, and be thankful he’s not working 12 hour shifts for 10 bucks an hour like the lucky fans that still have a job.

Posted on September 29, 2010 at 4:30pmSpeaking of trusting CNN, I just saw a report and they are going after Meg Whitman now. Seems she had an employee for 8 years who LIED and said she was a US citizen in CA. She filled out a 1099 and showed her drivers license and signed the paperwork that she was a legal citzen. The she went to Meg Whitman in 2009 and for some reason had to admit she WAS NOT legal and that she had lied. Whitman had to fire her and told her she could not keep her because she would be breaking the law. NOW the girl has come out with SOME story about being USED? UGH, this is not going to be pretty. Wonder who is paying her now and how much?

Posted on September 29, 2010 at 4:26pmMy 10 year son came home from school recently and asked me what does n!&&@r mean? He had never heard the word before. He said while playing basketball at recess, some of the AA kids were calling him that. I had asked in what reference were they using the word and it was like “throw me the ball, N“ or ”good pass, N”. I explained what the N word is and that he was never ever to use that word. And also, to find new kids to play ball with…..

Posted on September 29, 2010 at 3:09pmThe player assaulted those fans. Is there any proof that the n-word was used or that they spit on the guy? I watched the video and I did not hear the n-word or see them spit on him. Assaulting someone for speech is not OK.

Posted on September 29, 2010 at 3:09pmWhat did the FANS who were accused of this say? We’ve seen these same false accusations before, so excuse us for being a BIT skeptical. WHY do these stupid videos ALWAYS start AFTER the spit and N.word? If they can prove it was said, maybe the player should be excused for losing it this time? At a family event, adults should watch their language and behave like ADULTS, period!

Posted on September 29, 2010 at 3:02pmAgreed. In what twilight zone universe can one race of people say a certain word, but the people of another entire race cannot say that word? PC madness. And let’s be honest, blacks can say and do all the time – publicly! If you don’t believe, see a black comedy act, listen to a black rap artist, go to a black movie. TOTAL double standard.

I still think it‘s wrong but in the black community it’s used all the time. The entire hip-hop generation has been weened on this stuff so isn’t it just a bit hypocritical of Collins to not have an inkling of understanding in this case.
Isn’t it time everyone is held to the same standard?
