No Jesus Ornaments on the ‘Capitol Christmas Tree’ – But it Does Celebrate Obama!

The 63-foot Sierra White Fir lighted at the U.S. Capitol Grounds on Dec. 6 as the official 2011 Capitol Christmas Tree includes a prominently displayed ornament paying homage to President Barack Obama, but includes no ornament readily visible to a person standing near the tree’s base that uses the word “Christmas,” or includes an image of the Nativity, or bears the name or image of Jesus Christ.

I come from a background of having little to nothing for many years. My father could only give me advice because he didn’t have the means to give other. One thing he taught me was only buy what you can pay for and remember to save enough to take care of what you own. Maybe 6 months of eating what you can catch and heating your own apartment would be good for some. Picture Catrina except no one coming to save you. I still say one should NEVER get back more than one put in the system in the first place, and only those living at poverty level should get their taxes back. You do realize that when someone gets all they put in back, o more, they are 1. not paying into social security, but because they worked, are going to get some out and 2, we’re paying for anything they get over what they put in.

I do agree though that there is no collective guilt as many want to assign. If salvation or damnation is an individually earned status, then that applies across the board. As I know plenty of meek, humble and charitable Christians, that tells me that “We” as a whole are not somehow all guilty and deserve punishment.

Unbelievable! The ‘Anointed One’ said it in his 60 Minutes interview, but since 60 Minutes did not want to embarrass him, they left it out so it can only be seen on the internet version! Wow!
