Noam Chomsky: Sarah Palin Was Right About Obama

Probably the last person you’d expect to cite Sarah Palin favorably is Noam Chomsky. Yet in an interview with the Leftist news organization Democracy Now, Chomsky did precisely that, saying Palin was right to mock Obama for his lack of substance.
(Related: What else has Chomsky been up to lately? Let him tell you)
“I don’t usually admire Sarah Palin,” Chomsky said, “but when she was making fun of this ‘hopey changey stuff,’ she was right, there was nothing there.”
Watch Chomsky’s surprisingly honest admission below:

Posted on May 15, 2012 at 7:17pmThis is about trying to shame Oblamer into action!
Its showing up everywhere these days and not only because people think his days are numbered but some of it designed to get him into action. Chomsky, Lovitz, Kennedy, Clintons, Wright, Kenyan Clerics, Muslims, OWS piling on will only get BHO to do something we will all regret! Make no mistake, this man is no pansy, when push comes to shove, he will shove and shove hard will he. Don’t confuse this insight as support….no no, this is how the left works.
As I said, he is going to stay in office because this country will vote for him once again OR we will see a reason to declare martial law. One way or the other, he stays in power and maybe for good. This will be the Lefts/Progressives best shot at taking this country over and shredding the constitution, they might not get another chance like this for several decades…..its a now or never moment ppl.
There have been too many other actions taken by this government to ensure stability and control like NDAA/NDRP, drones, DHS 450mil rounds of ammo, racial divisions, banks failing, key ppl calling for unrest in the streets…..again, without these things happening, I wouldn’t give BHO a chance to stay in office, but this is no ordinary election, this is the takeover we’ve dreaded.

Posted on May 15, 2012 at 9:38pmThe communist are not happy because the Marxist is coming up short in destroying the Republic. They thought for sure King Hussein would be able to topple the Republic, but they don’t understand capitalism therefore they do not know how hard it is to destroy the free market within the US. They also underestimate the wealth of the United States citizens. They are now learning it is near impossible to drive us all to the poor house because there is so much wealth in the hands of citizens.
Inflation that would kill a European nation not yet recovered from Socialism hardly makes a dent in the economy of the US.
People living at the poverty level in the US have cell phones, cars and big screen televisions. This is far removed from the 80% in socialist companies that owned no car or televison and could not get cell phones for lack of service.
We are the wealthiest nation on the planet. It’s going to take more than a disenchanted community organizer to take down our Republic.
Soon both the liberals and communists will be left on the outside as the Christians and conservatives begin to push back to make this nation great again.

Posted on May 15, 2012 at 11:57pmJZS, The Lifestraw is based on the Katydyne water filtration system. The original was a larger bulkier system but worked well. One of it‘s main features was that it was the only system available back in the early ’80s that could strain out Giardia which got it’s start in Northern rivers and streams back then. The Katydyne System has been issued to I believe almost all of India’s military troops on the ground. Says something for water. Both the Katydyne and what has now evolved into the Lifestraw has long been sold to camper, military, and survivalist of all sorts. Nothing new, and very handy to have in your kit gear.

Seriously, I have purchased a number of Lifestraws, plenty of Food insurance, and all of the other things here that you mock regularly.
But if, or when the crap hits the fan, you are welcome to share in my bounty. We will after all, need a court jester for comedic entertainment while rebuilding the country.
Here, practice these lines so you will be ready…………..

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 12:33amDuh, excuse the double post, but this is the thread this should have been on.
Report Post »JZS, What I was getting at, something like the Lifestraw can be essential in many emergencies such as those unexpected tornadoes, hurricanes, earth quakes, travel situations and such. I am well aware of the fun you are taking pleasure in. But, joking aside, when the kind of sh*t that I have described hits the fan, most city folk have doomed themselves to just not make it. Only those who have taken a few simple precautions by being prepared.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 1:24amJzs does kinda of make a point….
Your spending money of stuff you really don’t need.
Boiling water will kill all of the harmful bacteria, that makes people sick.
Adding a cap full of bleach to a gallon jug of water, will do the samething.
The Army surplus stores, sell water purification tablets, 1000 tablets cost like $1…..
Also squirrel meat tast best if you put it in a burlap bag, with onion, carrots, potatoes and salt. Put the bag with the squirrel meat and ingredients, hang the bag on the side of you house that faces the sun for two days. And then cook it, in a Dutch-Oven with a cup and half of water…..
Report Post »RJJinGadsden
Posted on May 16, 2012 at 2:18amBRYAN B, Even bleach, those purification tablets, and often times boiling will not kill Giardiasis. It is caused by raw sewage is heavily introduced to natural waterways. You are actually safer using something like the lifestraw or even the larger Katydyne system and then boiling it. But, the filtering of it alone is still safe.
Report Post »I agree with you on the squirrel meat, but I like it in chili and stews as well. Duh, you are describing a stew. We have several cast iron Dutch ovens. Really handy in a lot of ways. Have cooked peach cobbler in those as well as a sort of spaghetti with noodles cooked in. The wife likes flat egg noodles in this manner. You can roast a chicken or several dove in one too. Have feed many a scout while on camping trips.

When he says there is nothing there he obviously means Obama was/is not brutal enough for his tastes and wanted the desent into complete government control, the shredding of the Constitution, and the complete subjegation of the American people to happen more quickly. So in Chomsky’s mind Obama is just not hardcore communist/socialist enough.

Posted on May 15, 2012 at 7:06pmChomsky has always said that Obama’s platform of “change” was BS—that‘s because he’s a socialist where as Obama is a liberal. They are two COMPLETELY different things. He was elected on a platform of universal public healthcare, raising taxes on the rich, and an end to the war. What did we get? Now people are REQUIRED to buy health insurance from private companies, who (now that their profit rate is capped) simply increase expenses to justify increasing revenues. The war budget has expanded rather than contracted. Bush’s tax cuts to the rich were extended under Obama.

The only difference I see, is liberals are to stupid to realize they won’t be the ones that end up on top when society crashes, while the socialists/communists already have enough power/money to know they are going to be the one with the boot on everyone else’s throat.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 9:57amTex, as a fellow Texan, I have to say kudos to you. Outside of Austin, most Texans are like you. Now, being in Houston, there are plenty of transplanted Yankees, Californians, and other liberals. They form their enclaves, vote in an inept mayor, etc…. but the rest of us carry the city, that they seem to neglect or use from time to time. About Mitt Romney aka Utah Ken Doll, I’m gonna need a gas mask when voting for him, but I’ll be damned if I DO NOT VOTE or vote for Odumb@$$.
Good for you.
Let’s hope Romney gets a good VP (think Palin or more as a conservative). And, I hope not to disappoint, but I’ll take Ted Cruz over Dewhurst for Senate. Early voting for the Repub primaries is for the next 2 weeks.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 12:29pm…Chomsky isn’t switching his views on Obama, he’s just pointing out something that he and Sarah Palin agree on – that Obama’s campaign was just fanfare. No substance, no real goals other than get elected and stay elected. The man is a hard core anarcho-syndicalist, that‘s why he’s always distrustful and critical of politicians, police, military, capitalism, etc. He and Obama are VERY different politically if you understand the differences between anarchism (well, anarcho-communism) and liberalism.
Report Post »While I may disagree with chomsky’s political foundations, he’s very often on point when it comes to his criticisms of the political establishment, particularly as it relates to its cheerleader: the MSM.

Posted on May 16, 2012 at 12:40pmThe best we can hope is that this kind of commentary will suppress the vote. Leftists really have no candidate in this race – Obama has proven to be less an ideologue than he is this generation’s Kingfish – a scam artist who knows how to enrich himself while playing the populist.
