Upcoming Weather Underground Movie to Show ‘Real Americans Who Stood for Their Beliefs’

Deadline is reporting that Robert Redford and Shia LaBeouf have been cast to star in the political thriller, “The Company You Keep,” based on the Neil Gordon novel about the domestic terrorist group called the Weather Underground.
“The Company You Keep” tells the story of a 30 year long FBI manhunt for a Weather Underground terrorist, to be played by Redford, who must evade law enforcement after his identity is outed by an ambitious reporter (LaBeouf).
The producers may have already given a peek at the politics behind the film. Voltage producer Nicolas Chartier, who has teamed up with Redford’s Wildwood Enterprises production company for the project, said of the movie that:
“This is an edge-of-your-seat thriller about real Americans who stood for their beliefs, thinking they were patriots and defending their country’s ideals against their government.”
But does the Weather Underground really represent “real Americans” who thought they were patriots?
The WU terrorist movement Redford and the movie will depict tried to ‘bring the war home’ to America, and likely would have killed scores of Americans had it not been for their ineptitude in carrying out terrorist bombings.
Some of the WU terrorist group’s most prominent members remain belligerent and unrepentant to this day. Blaze coverage of WU co-founder Bernadine Dohrn calling conservatives ‘Racist, Armed, And Hostile,’ can be viewed here. Likewise, Dohrn’s husband and WU co-founder Bill Ayers has unabashedly said that he still does not denounce WU violence. There is also this video (uploaded previously to the Blaze) of Ayers in which he claims the Pentagon is a ‘terror organization’:
It remains to be seen whether Redford and company will give WU radicals the glorified Hollywood treatment (“The Motorcycle Diaries” is an example that comes to mind), or depict them as the narcissistic, deluded criminals they were.

Compiled to show how bad the hearings were, they actually do exactly the opposite: expose the truth.

A) LBJ sent 500,000 American soldiers to Nam, under “rules of engagement” that did not allow our brave men to fight to win causing thousands to die needlessly and handing the war to the communists.
B) Under Clinton in 1992 the Koresh compound in Waco, Tx was assaulted military style with (U.S.) tanks and 72 people died including innocent women and children.
C) Under Clinton the Weaver family at Ruby Ridge, ID were attacked commando style by the FBI, killing a 14 year old boy, his mother at the hands of an FBI sniper WHILE HOLDING A BABY, and Randy Weaver the father and husband. While “officials” claimed they had weapons, the Weavers had been cleared of all charges FIVE YEARS earlier. The two surviving sisters were eventually awarded $3 million in damages while “no wrong doing” was EVER admitted by the Clinton administration.

I have been to the movies twice this year and we used to go all the time. Even if I want to see a movie if the celeb is on my boycott list..I won’t even watch it on cable or ppv. Won’t support and I suggest everyone spread the word. This should be an outrage to everyone!
