Now That OBL’s Dead, Will al-Qaeda Unleash ‘Nuclear Hellstorm?‘ Wikileaks Says ’Yes’

The mastermind behind the 9/11 terror attacks Khalid Sheikh Mohammed promised that if Osama bid Laden was captured, al Qaeda would “unleash hell,” according to the recent Guantanamo interrogation documents released by Wikileaks.

According to MSN news site Ninemsn.com, “hell” would come in the form of a nuclear bomb in Europe:

The mastermind of the 9/11 attacks warned that al-Qaeda has hidden a nuclear bomb in Europe which will unleash a “nuclear hellstorm” if Osama bin Laden is captured, leaked files revealed.

The terror group also planned to make a 9/11 style attack on London’s Heathrow airport by crashing a hijacked airliner into one of the terminals, the files showed.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed told Guantanamo Bay interrogators the terror group would detonate the nuclear device if the al-Qaeda chief was captured or killed, according to the classified files released by the WikiLeaks website.

Sheikh Mohammed, the self-professed mastermind of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, has been held at Guantanamo since 2006 and is to be tried in a military court at the US naval base on Cuba over the attacks.

His nuclear threat was revealed in Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper, one of several media outlets which have published the classified assessments of detainees at Guantanamo.

    If you have read some of Wikileaks it is in fact a dirty bomb and not a full blown Nuke. From the reports that have been made is that UBL wanted Al Queda to get more violent and target more western civilian targets other than merely slugging it out with the military. The war of attrition was being won by the west. The only way to turn the tide was to start bringing in western civilian targets.

      No, Dandylyon, it never ends. For over a thousand years, Islam has sought to dominate the world through the use of violence. Their hatred of Israel, of the United States, of Christianity and Judaism and anything that is not Islam is not rational. It’s not just us they hate. They are beheading Christians schoolgirls on their way to school in Indonesia. They are defacing ancient Hindu statues in the Pakistan. Iran just outlawed dogs, for goodness’ sake.       Well I researched it and basically you can’t be buried at sea if you die on land. In fact if you die at sea and can be kept you are to still be buried on land. Western eyes will say we did him a favor by even burying him. Some how I don‘t think the Iman’s will.

      1) There is a difference between “than” and “then”.
      Correct: “But THEN again (comma) this is….”
      Incorrect: “How are you any better THEN OSB…” (should be “than”).
      2) “Dieing” is spelled “dying”.
      3) “Spicies” is spelled “species”.
      4) “Celebrateing” is “celebrating”.
      Maybe try writing in Word, then (!) pasting into your post box. But spellcheck won’t catch everything. Watch out for those near-homophones! (and that’s not a slur… you can look it up…)
      This is not ridicule. These improvements will give your posts, albeit somewhat “unique”, more clout.

    Like I said…NO ONE SHOULD smile to broadly as Al Quada is not stupid. There is a major leader that served under Bin Laden. I wouldn’t put it past this JA to do something ASAP. Obama is messing with FIRE, AND HE BETTER be prepared, and our military better be prepared to deal with something worse then 9-11. I don’t put a thing past Al Quada and I would hate to see anyone attack Europe, London, or worse. There must have been a reason why William and Kate didn’t go on a honeymoon. Maybe this entire thing with Bin Laden was related and they are taking the utmost protection. I don’t blame them.

    In a way I hope we captured him and said we killed him. Maybe we could get him to sing like a canary like the others did. I think he thinks enough of himself that he might give up a few things. Maybe Im wrong. Take him swimming in the bay and find out. Maybe closing Gitmo would have been a bad idea. Also maybe Im nit picking but, I kind of have this off feeling in my gut about following islamic tradition with the whole burial at sea within 24 hours. Many of the families of this ****** victims didnt even have a body to bury let alone observe any religious ceremony. I just dont think he deserved that dignity!

    We need to get the trial for Mohhamad under way immediately, and since he has already confessed to his part in the premeditated deaths of thousands of innocent Americans, it should not be difficult to get a conviction and a death sentence. Our mistake is to let these known threats live longer than is necessary. Our country is too soft, to politically correct and no one is scared of us anymore. We need to change our image quick, before someone decides to threaten our way of life on this continent again. I personally don’t want my kids to have to wear kevlar and carry 9 milimeters just to go about their business daily…it is like that for the youth in other countries and we are stupid to think it will never happen here in America…it already has…just look at our inner cities and the gang violence that ensues when the “have nots” use drug sales, prostitution, etc to gain equality to the “haves”. This segment of the US population is growing rapidly and we need to stop it any way we can. So we have to fight here in the US domestically as well as internationally to take back our country from those who would destroy it and our freedom. As a side note, govement stimulus both at home and in aid to foreign countries has been a complete failure to combat either epidemic of hatred for America.

    They won’t let this go unanswered. Although Bin Laden was the figure head, He has not been calling the shots for years Al-qaeda is setup to have a de-centralized command structure. Take out one “leader” and another one will pop up. That being said, it’s undeniable that this will be a major blow to their morale.
    Although he is gone, this is not the time to let our guard down; he was just one man, of many which want to do us harm. Get ready folks, retribution is coming.

    Osama‘s body should have been returned to the USA and he should have been incased at Ground Zero for all that lost loved one’s and , to view. This way we would have known the truth. He did not deserve to meet Allah in accordance to Muslim faith. Burying him at sea was an out for Obama and he thinks we’re going to let it go. Wrong!!!!!!! Until he can show a body, I simply don’t believe him. Just another cover up. Bin Laden could meet his maker after Amercians got finished with him, not just Navy Seals.       Maybe, it is possible they could have a very crude dirty bomb; yet the fact does remain, if they have one or more, why not use them by now? Why wait?

      Something here on part of the Al Quaeda is totally wacko.

      Still though, we do need to keep an eye open for a retaliatory attack or attacks; and I feel these guys will wait for a time to let things calm down a bit, for our guard to go down a bit, and then strike with force all at once.

      Let’s see: Mohamed Elbaradei was the head of the UN’s nuclear watchdog. He is a supporter of, if not a member, of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. The MB has condemned Bin Laden’s killing. Why? If they are not terrorists, or extremists, as Elbaradei has claimed.

      Dirty bomb…this war is strictly political and now Al Qaeda has the political momentem to retaliate big time and keep Muslim world opinion on their side. In the minds of Muslims everywhere, Al Qaeda owes us I a big one. Our political geniuses have no intention of protecting us. If Al Qaeda ruins one of our cities with a dirty bomb, we can expect martial law and more control from our political geniuses.       I would not take this as idle threats. There are a number of places where they could possible have obtained a nuclear weapon. First is Russia, or through the collapse of Russia. We know for a fact that they were missing nuclear weapons after the fall of the communist state. Second is just look at where he was killed. Pakistan has nuclear weapons and obviously if his compound was 100 yards from a Pakistani army base someone there was looking the other way, therefore its feesible he had supporters in either the government or army or both so you can not rule out the whole idea that they never would give him a nuclear device. Lastly with nuclear technology owned by so many countries across both the middle east (i.e. Pakistan, India, Iran) and many other nations across the globe it is not obsurd to assume they couldnt have obtained it. The days of only two nations having them and closely guarding there secrets left when the cold war ended and Russia collapsed. I do hold reserve that it is quite possibly just blowing smoke but I’d rather assume the worst and be totally wrong than blow it off as idle talk and face the ramifications of what that kind of weapon would do to any country. You have to think beyond Al qaeda simply setting a nuclear bomb off in a European country. Once detonated every country with nukes would immediately go to DEFCON 4. Strategic military pieces all over the globe would start shifting around because no one would know for certain who did what to who. The slightest mistake or mis judgement from one country as to the stance of another country could easily tip the escalation of force and set off a pre-emptive strike then everyone would stat shooting at everyone else. Humanity would not survive with the amount of nuclear weapons out there now. Russia and the U.S. have enough in there arsenal alone to wipe humanity off this earth a hundred times over with the intial blast then followed by the nuclear fallout then nuclear winter that follows after that. Or we could just blow it off and watch amercian idol :) You decide

The Taliban in Afghanistan hated Bin Laden !!!! Oh and lets give the Pig a respectfull burial at sea with in 24 hours so we are POLITCALLY CORRECT Muslim ass kissers !!!
      The “Speech Giver” since taking office and winning the Peace Award has made the world a MORE dangerous place and America weaker economically. I assume we will be attacked in the next two days!! Martyring this “PIG” was NOT a good thing!!! and was ALL about POLITICS and Poll numbers!!!

      This time Obama was right, in a round-about way. This he did inherit from Bush, he’s just not man enough to admit it..
      As far as a backlash from the sympathizers of Bin Laden, just ask them if they “really” want to do that. If Obama can’t man up and tell them let him appoint an envoy with the gumption to do it. Say Michelle Bachmann.

      I agree. These jihadists are big on talk and weak on action.

      Too, they’re really not very innovative either.

      With the southern border wide open, jihadists could have waltzed across by the dozens for the last ten years and maintained sleeper cells throughout the US, conducting commando raids and/or suicide attacks in most of our urban areas, just as they do in the Middle East. Look at what kind of carnage, horror, destruction and chaos was caused in Mumbai, India, by a small contingent of commandos.

      We’re fortunate we are up against an enemy that has little creativity, because our porous borders are welcome signs for those who seek to do us harm. Instead of having 12 million illegal Mexicans in this country, we could have 12 million jihadist soldiers instead.
