NPR Reacts Quickly to New Sting Vid: Blames Exec for ‘Inaccurate’ Info

NPR has issued a statement regarding James O‘Keefe’s newly-released NPR sting video. According to NPR, the donation information given by Betsy Liley in the video “is factually inaccurate and not reflective of NPR’s gift practices.”

The statement did not explain exactly what of the information divulged in the over 44 minute video was false, however. It did note that Liley is still on administrative leave — which happened after the first video came out — pending a full investigation.

The full statement from spokeswoman Dana Davis Rehm is below:

The statement made by Betsy Liley in the audio tapes released today regarding the possibility of making an anonymous gift that would remain invisible to tax authorities is factually inaccurate and not reflective of NPR’s gift practices.  All donations – anonymous and named – are fully reported to the IRS. NPR complies with all financial, tax and disclosure regulations.

Through unequivocal words and actions, NPR has renounced and condemned the secretly recorded statements of Ron Schiller and Betsy Liley. Mr. Schiller is no longer with NPR and Ms. Liley has been placed on administrative leave, pending an investigation of the matter.

No stronger statement of disavowal and disapproval is possible. NPR will not be deterred from its news mission and will ultimately be judged by the millions and millions of listeners and readers who have come to rely on us every day.

I have zero sympathy for the pathetic people at NPR and PBS, what a bunch of low life loud mouth leftist. They got caught spouting these obscenitives toward normal everyday type people that have been pushed to the brink of having to deal with unruly and caniving leftist that just want power and control over us. NPR and PBS are fully exposed as being dangerous ugly people to society and now they want sympathy, sorry you have none from this American. You need to get off TV peroid!

I am troubled by this revelation. NPR, Planned Parenthood, and ACORN (perhaps there are more) seem to have trouble. They just cannot give a proper, reasonable, and legal answer. They freely give information and advice, which turns out to be INACCURATE, FALSE, or ILLEGAL. With so many Americans out of work, can’t they find people who can respond with accurate, true, and legal answers. Every time they are caught, it is because someone (a scape goat) gave wrong information.

I don’t believe they have anywhere near that number of listeners.

The point is, they are taxpayer-funded, at least in part. They should examine each viewpoint in an unbiased manner, asking tough questions of each party of interest.

You only have to listen to NPR for minutes into a interview to see what they are about. They probe anyone with a conservative viewpoint with doubt, asking them to explain their positions as if they need to prove they are not, for example, racist, or, say, against education. This, no matter what statistics they have that backs up their point.
At the same time, someone from the left (sometimes far-left) gets off with questions that would lead you to believe they were a victim. It’s a totally different approach used to interview the left.

I won’t listen to their take on the radical protests in Wisconsin, but am sure if I did, my statements will be proven correct.
