New Video: Experience the Restoring Love National Anthem at Field Level — And Watch Beck’s Reaction

If you missed the live video of Restoring Love, be sure to watch it on-demand — see how here.

You may have already seen Alex Boye’s rendition of the National Anthem at Restoring Love on Saturday. But you haven’t seen it like this.

TheBlaze was on the field at Cowboys Stadium during the opening of the event and captured the Star Spangled Banner as the crowd of thousands experienced it. And if you want to know what it was like to be there, this is the video you need to watch. Not only do you get the full effect of the song, but you also get to see — in video — how it touched Glenn Beck and his emotional reaction.

Watch the rousing video, below:

I was there for the whole program that evening…The attendees at the entrance check were Great/Fast/Curtious !!! The program was Excellent and all the program was done with Excellence as well !!! The videos were so very…very… effective also !!! Could not have been more proud of the whole event !!! THANKS to ALL the People that made it come thru with such wonderful LOVE !!! There was very few empty seats in the stadium…and the atmosphere was as Heart Felt as any Large Christian program that I have attended in the past !!! The LORD does BLESS what is dedicated to HIM and bathed in much PRAYER !!! by the way… is there one denomination in Heaven? Those that are chosen by the LORD, to Bring Good News with a Heart of Flesh and Love of our Creator… HIS Chosen , HIS WORK/GIFT to each one is what the WORD teaches me… Not what I need to do to EARN my Place in HIS KINGDOM !!! TRUST and OBEY HIS WORD…That gets’ me into HIS KINGDOM!!! No Better Security then that !!! Not a religion…Just a SIMPLE FAITH in HIM !!! So, I do not worry about the small stuff…HE takes care of that for me!!! THANKS GLENN and ALL the Staff for a great night !!! Ezekiel 36:22-28 He is Always LORD…He is Always GOOD !!!

I heard this rendition on the radio show today. The quality is terrible.
Mr. Beck should be ashamed for selling such a terrible quality recording

    AND

Mr. Beck should also be ashamed and vilified for adding words to the National Anthem.
Ever the egotist is Mr. Beck.

If you thought you enjoyed listening the national anthem, you must see Glenn Beck listen to it. That’s right, you haven’t lived until you have seen Glenn Beck listening and reacting to the national anthem.

I get that this is Beck’s site, but it is quite funny that every single article has to somehow mention him and how he is going to save the world, or at least save those that buy his stuff.

By the way, what happened to the cane he was walking around with a couple of days ago? Did he magically heal himself?

I am undergoing the same treatments, and I surely don’t have the money or knowledge Mr Beck has. If I can figure out when to put the shot off until, surely he and his caregivers can.

Frances Scott Key would be proud and have loved this presentation of the “Star Spangled Banner”. No one can top Whitney Houston and FSK would have cried when both of them sang his anthem. It is a beautiful and heart felt anthem. A rousing presentation. Thanks to all who made it possible.

You know I just don’t understand the left. They have the Communist party, Blue Collar workers, Poor people, Gays, Mexicans, Blacks, and Jews, THEY ARE ALL BETRAYING. They are DIVIDING the country and they GIVE BACK NOTHING. When are these people going to understand they are being played. People you need to know that the government is living by printing cash. There is nothing left! What are they going to do after they have spent everyone else’s money? I have never seen such stupid people believing such lies spewed by this present government. FOOLS!

Then you get up here and and go after GLEN BECK for feeding people, and getting people to try to come together? Are you so lost you can’t find ANY CHARITY in your heart for just a single event that could do you some good?! I FEEL SO SORRY for some of the lost people that have found a place to vent HATE. HERE? Please use your rights, you think you have, to and GO TO THE POLLS but leave this man GLEN BECK and what he does ALONE. You are playing with FIRE…. and the joke is on you. I cannot believe that people act like this in my country. I am so DAMN ashamed of them. Just sick of this and OBAMA and his ATTACK on the ENTIRE COUNTRY! OPEN YOUR EYES!

@Skiz AMEN!!!!! To all the negative sayers… Glenn’s performance was AWESOME AND VERY SPIRITUAL!!!! He touched my heart and made me feel proud to be an AMERICAN!! Glenn cries because he has a soft heart and because he feels the PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT so close to him, and I’m sure many others felt it too, I know I did, just by watching this video. To the negative sayers try softening your heart, so you too can enjoy the awesome feeling that only the Holy Spirit can give!!

Dunno, nor do I care to watch, but his script goes something like this:

    1. Dramatic, crisp lighting, video rolling, still shot photographer ready…
    2. Eyes closed (slight smile – as if very proud, almost child-like)
    3. Smile starts to quiver
    4. Pretend to “shake it off”
    5. Slowly shake your head (as if you can‘t believe what’s happening)
    6. Quiver again (slightly stronger)
    7. Tear.
    8. Submit to the crying (as if you can’t hold it back – like Tom Hanks did in Private Ryan)
    9. Look to Heaven, as if acknowledging His approval – NOT FOR LONG, as the head tilt will stream tears to the BACK of your head, not down front, where they are visible.
    10. Maybe even raise your hands to Heaven (snap the still shot).
    11. Collapse to knees – if the moment warrants.
    12. Try to get up – stammer… then full collapse.
    13. Collapse at the feet of child A (white). Child A (white) will start to cry and hug you. Child B (black) and child C (Hispanic) will join in a group hug (snap the still shot).
    14. Slowly get up, as if emotionally wiped out – knees trembling.
    15. Child A, B, C, grab your hands and lead you to the stage (snap the still shot).
    16. Recite huckleberry Americana gibberish line “Boy howdy, I’m sure gosh-golly glad the youth is here to (standard Beck scripted pause/exhale)… lead us.”
    17. ROARING laughter! Standing O. Snap the final Anthem still shot.

My 2nd post. I’m retired with experience in the television industry, production, etc. So the perspective I’d like to impart is technical in nature.
LIGHTING: Outstanding. Any show done “in-the-round” is an SOB to cover properly, without overkill. The folks who designed and implemented the luminaires were top notch (TN)! Control throughout the show was right on point.
Sound: Outstanding. Wireless mics are usually easy to do when the talents’ movements are constrained. Hard when talent can walk almost any place. When, near the end of GB’s speech, the stage filled with people, I expected to hear cross-talking, some feedback, and off tone sounds. Not so. The choices of mics and the execution was TN!
VIDEO: Outstanding: Shading so many cameras, which were shooting under varying lighting conditions, is tough, at best. Varying skin tones are the hardest to get right on the fly, as the show switches between cameras. TN!
ANIMATION: The stage animation was right on point, not over done, over used or cute. Just right. TN!
WRITING and DELIVERY: The folks who wrote GB’s speech, including GB, got the message across so efficiently that it was as if GB was talking only to me. That’s hard to do. GB‘s delivery couldn’t have been better. His intonations and inflections were very effective. You could see he spoke from his heart. (And no telepromters) TN!
PRODUCTION: The director, ass’t dirs., producers ass’t. prods., Tech. Switchers, floor crew were all

I get your point, but… have you ever heard Ray Charles’ version America the Beautiful? When a performer can illicit a positive emotional response from the audience – well, that is what art is all about.
I didn’t find his performance moving myself, but that’s because (in my humble opinion) he made the song about his voice, rather than the message. Their are a lot of great voices, but relatively few great singers.

I think Restoring Love was a gathering of others who cherish these Blessings in their lives and who know deep in their heart that they can’t be taken unless surrendered and we absolutely refuse to surrender any part of them to any man or government.
I wish I could have been in Dallas, but wait! I was there! Many of our spirits were there with those thousands of our fellow countrymen, our hearts understoond and shared the message of hope and our honor now allows us to stand beside each and every one of them.

Of course the usual suspects will cry over Glenn getting emotional, like they always do. I have no issues with it since it doesn’t devalue anything he says. Facts matter, whether you’re emotional when presenting them or not is irrelevant. It just means Glenn is passionate about this. Nothing wrong with that. At least he has human emotions, unlike the O-bots and similar zombies.

I know Alex Boye is supposedly a good man, he’s Mormon, and he sings in his church choir, but he still creeps me out.
His rendition of the National Anthem was bad enough, but what puzzles me is why he chose that Calypso Louie Farrakhan look? Creepy.

Another thing that creeps me out about this guy, is one of his music videos, where he and the other grown men at a Jam Session, invites a young girl into their house to Jam and dance. Creepy.
    On youtube
Alex Boye Instagram Music Video (Crazy For You)

I don’t know if Glenn chose Boye, or staff chose him. I love Glenn Beck, but I do not blindly follow him. I think for myself. He doesn’t tell me what to think.
There are times when I question Glenn’s comments, his choices, and his actions, as anyone should. Just because Glenn says or does something, does not make it right. No human being on Earth is without flaws.

It was a great performance. My question is: Glenn, why did you not have your hand over your heart in honor of the flag? Also, the rendition made it nearly impossible for the rest of the ‘regular voices’ in the stadium to sing the anthem to their country. Was there any point at which there was another, more simpler rendition played so everyone could sing together?
