NRA CEO Calls for Resignation of Attorney General Holder

PITTSBURGH—The National Rifle Association’s CEO Saturday said Attorney General Eric Holder should step down for allowing an operation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to occur on his watch that involved the sale of guns to suspicious customers with ties to Mexican drug cartels.

The ATF allegedly encouraged gun dealers to sell multiple firearms to known and suspected criminals as part of a broader sting operation to crack down on gunrunning. In a speech to thousands of gun activists here, NRA chief Wayne LaPierre said two assault rifles that the ATF “let walk” were found at the crime scene where a border patrol agent was gunned down in December.

“Operation Fast and Furious may have gotten one or perhaps two federal agents killed, and countless other innocent victims have been murdered with the illegal guns that our own government allowed into Mexico all to advance a political agenda,” he said.

The longtime NRA leader played clips of Obama saying neither he nor Holder authorized the operation.

“He’s the attorney general of the United States of America — the highest law-enforcement officer in our land,” LaPierre said. “Who’s in charge? If he didn’t know, then who’s minding the store? If Holder didn’t know, Holder has got to go.”

    I agree with the NRA 100%. How many czars and dictators Obama has placed in numerous tax sucking / freedom killing agencies remains unknown. What is very clear is that Americans are outraged with where Obama is taking our country. Save America and vote for a conservative candidate in 2012

    The last freedom this culture of corruption administration is going to take easily, is our guns. Would that not be great?, if the only citizens left with weapons would be the unlawful ones, by the way, who all have guns already. It would sure make their house invasions much easier and more frequent. About Eric Holder, he is obviously a puppet for the biggest puppet ever placed in the White House. There will be a hard revolution if they ever try to take our guns. We use to hunt and protect our families with. Hopefully all these political idiots will be in jail by then?

    I believe the plan was two-fold. Arm the terrorists who are crossing the border into the U.S. to establish cells across the country, and secondly to try and have an ‘emergency’ that could be used for gun control. Latest I have heard is that they are now going after gun manufacturers. If they can’t make them (gun manufacturers), we can’t buy them.

    Where do American citizens believe that the military gets it’s budget, from “above ground economies?” That would put the nation at risk. Funds come from “underground economies.” (Weapons, slaves, sex, drugs, high income areas). Holder was not out of character, it’s just that the American people have sat blindly by, as the money (real and fake) poured in and kept us fat and plump and comfortable. Out of sight, out of mind. Yes, Holder has to go. But, it’s not only Holder.

    Obama wouldn’t let Louisiana build sand berms to keep the oil from reaching the beaches. Think like a lawyer, no damage to beaches, no law suit to BP Oil. Then he waited 53 days before he would let the big skimmers come in to clean up the oil. I think he used this to shut down oil production in the Gulf and go after BP. Now they use this to take away our guns! They are clever.

      Gun control is like trying to reduce drunk driving by making it harder for law abiding citizens to get a license. I am surprised this regime hasn’t tried to push any anti-gun legislation, but seeing this covert approach they are taking makes me wonder how much longer do I have before the gestapo comes knocking on my door for my guns.       Neither President Obama nor Attorney General Holder have as yet identified who -did- authorize Operation Fast & Furious either. As it stands right now, NO ONE authorized that operation. In fact, there has been very little to no mention of any of this in our news media since the initial furor died down after a couple of days. It is like anyone and everyone who is in a position to ascertain the truth does not want to know the truth for fear of having to inevitably disseminate it to us all. My guess is that the sudden revelations will come post-2012 elections.

      We are all still waiting to find out who exactly did authorize such an impossibly asinine operation that someone had to have known could very likely get innocent people killed, and our federal agents killed. Especially after warnings from their own rank and file. Do we have rogue operatives within the Dept of Justice authorizing operations that get our own federal agents killed? This is a travesty to the dead agent’s, their families, their co-workers, their friends, and to the entire country.

      The old adage of where quite literally responsibility lies with the executive branch, “THE BUCK STOPS HERE”, went out the window when Barack Hussein Obama walked in the White House door.

      It goes back to the underlying intent from the left, to not make guns illegal, but to make all citizens illegal. This is done by constantly making laws that will enable the government to slap felonies on the simplest of things. And with most states, felons can’t own guns. If you contort gun laws so even if a law abiding citizen is trying to follow the law, one simple mistake, boom, you are a felon. Take the New Jersey case, a guy who is flying through to Penn. Gets delayed in Newark, has a checked in gun, no fault of his own and has followed the law, suddenly is arrested because he was bumped off of a flight. Because he didn’t have a permit in New Jersey, and had no intention of staying overnight, he is arrested and charged with illegal gun carry.
      This is how they are going to take our guns away, and through the new Health Care law, if you have a gun, now you won’t be able to get insurance. This is what State Senator Obama was pushing through Illinois to make it impossible for people to legally own a gun.
      This administration will not go straight at the second amendment, but at the edges, if we have a nation of petty felons, no one can own a gun, therefore, the second amendment becomes a moot point.

      @Ranger….. You can‘t ’fathom the plan’. Let me spell it out for you. The Obama Administration was looking for ammunition (pun intended) against American gun/owners/sellers/manufacutres. Holder and his progressives designed this plan to to say “see Americans are the problem here….” By illegaly channeling thousands of American weapons to drug cartels the Obama Regime would then say look WE ARE THE PROBLEM. And just use that as an excuse to confiscate guns and destroy whatever rights we have left. The ATF is a criminal organization, they are the ones that intrapped Randy Weaver at Ruby Ridge for selling a sawed-off shotgun to a undercover ATF agent. The agent pestered Weaver for months to get him a sawed-off. Weaver told him to make one himself but finally cut off an old pump and gave it to the agent. For this Weavers 11 year old son was shot by an FBI sniper, and later an other real tough man shot Weaver’s wife while she was unarmed holding an infant. The ATF is the evil bunch of maggots that burned all those kids alive in Waco, Texas FOR WHAT! Because Koresh thought he was Jesus and had a bunch of LEGAL firearms. The local Waco law enforcement said they could of grabbed him when he went to town and got his mail anyday of the week. But that’s not what the FBI/ATF wanted. Now we have this BS “Gun Walker” program. It’s time to eliminate the ATF. Alcohol = legal, Tabbacco = legal, Firearms = legal. ATF = criminals.

If this administration can convince the U.N that OUR 2ND amendment is the reason for all the killing and chaos in Mexico, then the U.N only needs to come up with an International treaty to limit private law abiding citizens of the USA from owning fire arms of ANY kind.       The 3/5ths compromise had nothing to do with Blacks being 3/5ths of person and everything to do with representation in Congress. Since representation in Congress was determined by the population of each state, the southern states wanted to count their slaves which would have given them greater and more representation to Congress in favor of slavery. Northern states that were trying to abolish slavery were against this so the 3/5ths compromise was reached. IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH BLACKS BEING 3/5THS OF A PERSON!

      Holder should step down, but not because of his involvement with shipping guns to Mexico. Pure and simply he should step down, because he’s a racist. He gave ample proof of that when he declared he wasn’t going to pursue charges against the Black Panther at the polling place who was in a paramilitary uniform intimidating voters with a stick, saying he was there to make sure a black man got elected. Fox News showed a video of this same man standing on a busy street corner screaming on a mic to “kill all the white people and their blond-haired, blue-eyed babies.” Holder, in essence said he wasn’t going to bring charges against, “my people.”

      Can it be any clearer than that?

      Remember John Ashcroft raked across the hot coals by the Democrats in a hearing as they forced him to hold his hand up and swear he wasn’t going to let his religion or conservatism interfere with his judgements? Incredible, isn’t it? But no push at all from the Republicans to oust this blatant black racist in office right now from the position of the nation’s top cop. He’s a disgrace, and his rhetoric tells me VERY CLEARLY that he doesn‘t like white citizens of this country and in no uncertain terms makes it clear he’s only watching out for “his people.”

      Part of the leftist agenda is to pretend the dangerous drug cartels in Mexico: The Sinaloa, The Zetas, The Gulf, The Tia Juana, and the Juarez cartels, plus two new ones of lesser fame that just sprung up, are being armed by guns purchased by the US.

      But the weapons of choice of the cartels, who have UNLIMITED funds from almost 60 billion dollars worth of smuggled narcotics annually, are the AK-47 and the M-16 which fire both semi-automatic and fully automatic. PLEASE NOTE: The US does not sell fully automatic assault weapons to anyone but the military and SOME police departments. For the lefties to claim that semi-automatic weapons are the wepons of choice by these drug gangs is an allegation only the ignorant and ill-informed would believe. These cartels can afford the best and they do not settle for anythng less than the best, which are the fully automatic Ak-47′s and the M-16′s.

      With billions of dollars to spend the black market arms dealers trip over each other trying to get to the head of line as suppliers for the cartels. They also supply land mines, Rocket Propelled Grenades which can render a tank inoperable and easily take out a helicopter, hand grenades, light machine guns..both US, Russian, and Chinese made, and it has been rumored that the shoulder-fired stinger missiles given by the US to Afghanistan in their war with Russia, were never returned to the US and are available on the market today.

      Too, available for sale are the many weapons used in the many wars in Central and South America over the years. They actually proliferate that entire region. In addition to that, Hugo Chavez bought 175,000 AK-47″s from Russia several months ago. Chavez has close ties to the leftist Columbian rebels of the FARC and the ELN, in addition to Commandante Marcos’ Marxist Sandistas in Chiapas. Many experts believe Chavez is supplying the Mexican drug cartels in addition to these radical leftist groups in Columbia and Mexico.

      US military intelligence a few months back declared that Mexico and Pakistan are the two most likely countries to collapse completely and could do so at any time. The drug cartels have about 100,000 warm bodies on their payroll, each one armed to the teeth, rivalling the strength of the Mexican military itself, who has a total strength of about 175,000, but, unlike the cartels whose numbers reflect boots on the ground, the Mexican miiltary has a large number of its listed personnel as clerks and support troops, making the cartel army much larger regarding combat troops.

      So, what is holding the cartels back from taking over the government? They’re fighting among themselves. If they ever negotiate a truce of sorts, the Mexican government is toast. Most of the officials, police and a large part of the military are on cartel payroll right now.

      So, while the Holder bunch and the leftist media are playing gotcha games, an entire sovereign nation to our south could be on the road to ruin, threaten

      MILITIAMAN: I can buy an M-60 machine gun in my state with a special permit, but that has absolutely nothing to do with the claim that the Mexican drug cartels are being supplied by gun dealers in the US.

      The claim is that the drug gangs send people with clean records to the gun stores to purchase AK-47′s, which ARE NOT available to the general public, over the counter in fully automatic in the US, alleging that the semi-automatics are the preferred “guns of choice by the cartels.” That’s false.

      A few of the cartel offshoots DO buy pistols and semi automatics in the US but not in any great quantities. The big cartels prefer fully automatic models, because of their greater fire power. The cartels have the funds to buy the best.

      The north didn’t want to ban slavery when the 3/5th compromise was put into place, they were the ones with the ships that were selling the slaves to the south. The north just didn’t want to count the slaves at all. Later, when the steam engine had been invented, and the cotton gin had been invented, and the south wasn’t buying slaves anymore, then the great divider decided to rip the union asunder, come south, and steal everything they could steal, burn everything they couldn’t. You have to be pretty ignorant to believe that the 95% of the south that didn’t own slaves would send their boys off to die, to be frozen to death in prison camps without food or heat, for the 5% that owned slaves.

      This had gone on long enough. It is no secret, except to the ignorant and uninformed, that there is a cordinated effort to outlaw gun ownership. If you dont believe that then Im sorry, you are an absolute idiot. The whole purpose of this moronic operation was to get American registered guns into the hands of criminal so the brady campaign and other anti gun orgs could claim that Americans were selling guns to Mexican cartels. This is out and out corruption and it is a way to convince ignorant people that we have a problem with legal gun owners.

      No. We have a problem with criminals. And If Holder had a hand in this then it is he who is the criminal and has the blood of that border patrol agent on his hands. All in the name of having ammunition to attack our 2nd amendment rights. Ask your self this question: how far do you think these people are willing to go to subvert our Constitution? Do they lose sleep at night when one of their “ideas” goes awry and inncoent people are killed?

      Well heres a stat for you: none of my guns have killed a border patrol agent. Can the top law dog in the country say that?
