Nugent Reveals Date of His Secret Service Interview In Epic Glenn Beck Interview: ‘We’re Going to Have a Little BBQ’

Rock star and gun enthusiast Ted Nugent appeared on Glenn Beck’s radio show this morning. The outspoken musician discussed the heat he’s been taking over controversial comments he made at the NRA convention this past weekend. Additionally, he talked about his impending meeting with the Secret Service as a result of his words and commented on the “sub-human punk” label he gave DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
(Related: ‘Sub-Human Punk’: Ted Nugent Fires Back at Liberals and Debbie Wasserman Schultz)
“It’s a world gone berzerko,” Nugent said when summing up the days’ recent events.” If it wasn’t for the federal government my life would be perfect. Perfect. I’m not kidding…”

After Beck played a clip of Nugent’s weekend statements, the rocker went on to say that America is facing a “critical life and death vote” in November and he offered some context and personal defense.
“Every reference I made, whether it’s a shot across the bow or targeting the enemy, it always ended the sentence with ‘in November at the voter booth,’” he said, claiming that he was never advocating violence.
Nugent also said that he’s galvanizing his family and friends — and everyone he knows and interacts with — to get to the polls in November. It is the American people, he maintained earlier in the interview, who are tasked with monitoring the “bad and ugly” that often unfolds in the political sphere.
“If they want to stop the criminal spending orgy in Washington, D.C. and beyond, we‘ve got to register to vote and we’ve got to go to the voting booth in November,” he proclaimed.

As for the Secret Service probe, Nugent said that he will be meeting with officials on Thursday.
“We actually have heard from the Secret Service and they have a duty. I support them. I salute them. And I look forward to our meeting tomorrow,” he said. “I‘m sure we’ll have a great conversation…bottom line is, I‘ve never threatened anybody’s life in my life. I’ve never threatened. I don’t waste breath threatening.”
He continued, going on to reiterate his respect for the law enforcement officials.
“We’re going to have a little barbecue get together,” he said. “And I’m not trying to diminish the seriousness of this, because if the Secret Service are doing it they are serious. They are dedicated and I will be as polite and supportive as I possibly can be, which will be thoroughly.”
Nugent expects their conclusion to be that he threatened no one.
As for Shultz, he called her, among other Democratic leaders, as “lunatic fringe.”
The rocker also shared a disturbing story about fallen Navy Seal Chris Campbell, who perished in Afghanistan in 2011. Campbell, who had purportedly stated in his will that he wanted Nugent to perform at his funeral if he died in combat, didn’t have his final wish granted.
While the musician was planning to honor the fallen hero’s request, Nugent claims he was banned from the funeral.
“My office got a call from someone high up in the military letting me know that somebody very high up did not want me to be in the same area on that day,” he explained. “So I was uninvited in defiance of a dead Navy Seal’s request. I just don’t know what country this is.”

First, Ted is a gun carrier!
Second, Ted is suggesting “chopping”, would that be with an ax or a really good kitchen knife?
Reading between the lines:
Third, Ted is calling for a “BBQ”. Now, that would suggest terrorism by arson or explosion, right?

I do not think any of the things he said were ‘life’ threatening, and the SS is just doing what they have been instructed to do. There is nothing to this but the rantings and ravings of the lunatic left, with there selective ‘moral’ outrage. Posted on April 18, 2012 at 2:13pmI have been privy to one of these interviews. Almost 15 years ago a disgruntled employee told the local Judge I had threatened his life. The Judge told the disgruntled employee he knew me and he did not believe the report and would not issue a warrant to have me arrested. The former employee then said to the Judge that I had threatened the life of then President Clinton. He was told he would have to take that up with the Treasury Dept which is responsible for the secret service agents who protect the President, which he did. I was contacted by them for a local interview at the Sheriffs office as any threat reported by law had to be investigated. I was also contacted by many relatives and employer and friends wanting to know why the Treasury department investigators were asking questions about me. They usually send two investigators. One to question and one to size you up by just watching and listening. When it was over my employer said he was told it seemed to just be a disgruntled employee. Either way in a small towm it destroyed my family. I am still paying for it and will till I die. I hope any information provided may be useful. My advice is to be very careful what you say as I know words and how to use them. But people with little minds will hear a statement “ that a sitting President should be tried for high crimes and if found guilty should pay the penalty under law with his life”, as a threat on the life of a President.

I‘ve seen officers and military break in people’s doors and take their only means of self defense at gun point. They listen to talk radio and Fox news only. Which leads them into believing that Obama cannot possibly win.
The reality is however that most Americans still recieve their news through the liberal filter of NBC, CBS, ABC, COMEDY CENTRAL, LATE NIGHT TALK SHOWS, LIBERAL LEANING NEWSPAPERS.
So all the calamity that you hear about Obama isn’t even on their radar.
You also still have a ton of white guilt which will be a factor. Then theres Occupy which will go full steam this summer, and distract everyone from what a complete jack ass our president is.
Then we have a president who can fire up a crowd, speaks extremely well, and is a media darling going up against a man who refuses to reveal any specific plans because “It will get him in trouble with the media”, who is as exciting as watching mold grow, and was rammed down our throats by the ELITE of the GOP because they consider him a moderate.
and us ole God luvin’ Gun Shootin, Country hicks don‘t know how to win an election no way cuz we’s just as dum as a box of rocks. “So shut the hell up and vote fer Romney you stupid hicks!”
In my opinion we got McCained…again! But for what it’s worth, this election is going to be a fight to the knife, and not a gimmee like too many conservatives are thinking.

Posted on April 19, 2012 at 6:06amwhat i WON‘T do is take the word of someone who takes an ’interview‘ in ’High Times’ as gospel:
In 2006, an interviewer from the British newspaper The Independent questioned Nugent about a 1977 interview in High Times magazine in which Nugent allegedly detailed elaborate steps taken to avoid the Vietnam draft. In the interview Nugent says, contrary to the story in High Times, that “I had a 1Y [student deferment]. I enrolled at Oakland Community College.”. However, the Selective Service classification for student deferment is actually 2-S, and medical deferment is 1-Y. A copy of Nugent’s Selective Service record shows that he had at separate times both a 1-Y medical deferment and 2-S student deferment”

Posted on April 18, 2012 at 11:31amHe scrares them because he doesn’t play their game. Liberals use the Alinsky “make them play by their own rules” against conservatives. Conservatives are expected to be civil and restrained in public discourse. Nugent p%sses all over that and the marks his territory. Liberals have no “in” with him because he just dismisses their puffery and game playing. He’s exactly right..the Secret Service will have a barbecue with him, ask the required questions and all will have a great day and at the end of the day Uncle Ted will be just fine. And Ted’s advice for November is good advice..rip the liberals’ heads off.

that is why it CAN’T be close…we can’t have a Romney win by 1 or 2 points…after the recounts and court challenges…and the mysterious ballots that were in a closet of the DNC state chairman by “mistake”…. Obama will win…
Report Post »it has to be a 5-10% victory for Romney…meaning that it was actually a 10-15% win once you discount all the illegals they will have voting and the Chicago Way that will have the dead from the last 50 years voting…early and often if you follow the Daily system…..
right now…Romney is 46-46, with 8% undecided or for other….Romney HAS to get that to 50-45 by election day or the Demons in both parties will steal this for Obama and continue the path towards One World Open Society Socialism…with a ruling Political class
ALL Conservatives and Libertarians need to drop the more EXTREME talking points like “KILL THE FED”, “GOLD STANDARD”, “Legalize all drugs, gay marriage, abortions” AND talk to moderate Democrats..YES they still exist…they are your neighbors…get them talking about the economic collapse of Europe, the Islamic “revolution” in the Middle East, gas and energy prices….talk up Romney’s solutions WITHOUT using his name, talk up the solutions from Freedom Works, Heritage, CATO – without using their name…
GET THEM agreeing…and then trust they will vote right…

Since then, we have had a lot of Secretary of State’s flip to Republicans, and I am counting on those people to be a great help in stopping the ID fraud and this “finding a stack of ballots in your trunk” BS, this time.
