Nugent: The ‘Left Media’ Will Tell You ‘I’m a Mean, Nasty Man Who Wants to Rape Your Puppy’

Following this week’s fiery CBS interview, Ted Nugent said on the radio Friday that the “left media” is out to smear him as “a mean, nasty man who wants to rape your puppy.”

Nugent, coming off a recent controversy over comments he made about President Barack Obama, grew animated during an interview broadcast Friday morning after the reporter suggested he wasn’t a moderate. The footage shows him launching into a fierce explanation of all the terminal children he takes hunting and fishing as their last request before they die.

“Because that’s really moderate. In fact, you know what that is? That’s extreme. I’m an extremely loving, passionate man and people who investigate me honestly, without the baggage of political correctness, ascertain the conclusion that I’m a damn nice guy,” Nugent said.

Speaking with KFYI’s Mike Broomhead in Phoenix after the interview aired, Nugent said he hadn’t seen the final version but that CBS approached him after his comments about Obama and subsequent meeting with the Secret Service.

“So I’m a crazy man, I threaten the president according to Wasserman-Schultz and Nancy you-don’t-need-to-read-this-you-need-to-sign-it Pelosis of the world,” Nugent said, calling out both the Democratic National Committee chair and House Minority Leader.

Turning to the network, he said, “CBS…will never have anybody on their show that is called by more families of dying little boys and girls to request someone to take them on their last request in life. Hunting, fishing, usually. I’m called for the last 30 years by families in the most traumatic moments of their life….If I pass that test of decency, guess what I am? OK.”

“The left media and the Wasserman-Schultzes will try to tell you that I’m a mean, nasty man who wants to rape your puppy,” Nugent said, before adding: “I wouldn’t rape your puppy, but if the president needs a little chow I’m sure I could do some bushmeat for him.”

      I wish those being interviewed would take it back to the interviewers with pointed, specific questions that they couldn’t weasel out of. “Why do you ask that?“ ”Some say….” should be countered with who exactly is they, and where did they get their information, and why do you assume they are telling the truth etc. etc. And the one I love the best is would be a comment about “What did Obama say when you asked him the same question…” The media gets off way to easy. Thank God for Beck, Bozell, Breitbart and others who have dared to speak the truth and ask questions. I really do think they are todays true American freedom fighters, and we are in dire need of them. They can only appeal to those with common sense and a knowledge of history. Our public is so willfully dumb and uneducated, it will take all of us that believe in freedom and America’s greatness to speak out past our comfort zones. “Tolerance” and political correctness have been used a cudgel to silence all opposition.

      Ted was on the Local Radio a couple of Days after SS visit – it was the fastest hour in Radio – I think the host asked two questions and this Great American covered the rest of the hour without a breath. Unbelievable – Ted is what’s right about America and Debbie Blabbermouth Schulz, Polosi and Obama represents everything that is wrong in America today!

    I met the Nuge in 1885, at a big show in Dallas. We shared many things, but I thought he was way too political….I was just there for the R&R. I’ve got a different opinion, now. I did not care about right or left, democrat/republican. I was more OWS than TEA party, back then. I was, to be honest, a hippy! Although my catharsis has been long and hard, it is definite. I’ve come to truly believe that I was close to moral collapse before I was redeemed. In a lot of ways, I owe Ted. Thank you, Madman.

    The thing about Nugent is you know where you stand with him. It is one of the ways I pick friends.

    People who won’t call it like they see it, and put everything through a “cultured” PC filter often tend to be back stabbers, bending with the crowd. They protect what they really think from everyone but themselves, and even there, they tend to never admit to themselves what they really believe.

    People who are a little rough around the edges I find to be very genuine. It doesn‘t mean they don’t have a kind heart, it just means that when they do something kind, it is really from the heart and I’ll take that any day over people who make it a mission in life to run around and “help” a cause simply because they feel “obligated”.

    Regardless of my own beliefs, I don’t care what your sex, race, religious, political affiliation or sexual preference is, you will be counted among my friends if you are true to yourself and true to what you believe.

    Can I know you as you really are? I believe Ted Nugent is what you see in his works, unlike the CBS interviewer.

    I wonder who will be one of the first to get the medal of honor for helping the sick and dying in their last requests at the Heavenly Gates. Ted Nugent for his philanthropiic ways or the way of those that want to kill unwanted children before and after birth. How about those that invest other peoples money without approval while there is hungry people that need jobs. How about those that want to pick who lives or dies with a healthcare that is full of flaws and more debt. I vote for Ted Nugent’s way (maybe less colorful language) with a deep and loving heart.

    The liberal entertainers that fawn over Obama are never scrutinized by the media, their every word is not picked over and taken out of context but Nugent’s will be from here on out.

    Don‘t know that I approve of Ted’s example, but do support his point : the Democrats have a Character Assassination Squad which prepares the dirt on any one who does not support them, and a Lap Dog Media which carries out the attacks. The Media is the key to their power. Goebbels and Soros both realized the importance of a complicit and powerful media. One created it and one bought it.

    I would really like to know what transpired between Terrible Ted and the producer he was directing the anger at during the interview. He wasn’t looking at the interviewer when he went off, he was looking at the producer. I’m willing to bet she made some kind of snarky, dismissive comment to him before the cameras started rolling. It was CBS and I don’t have very high expectations for them.
