NEW YORK (AP/The Blaze) — New York City authorities say five Columbia University students are charged with selling drugs on campus and at fraternity houses.
Special Narcotics Prosecutor Bridget Brennan and Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said Tuesday that the students and three off-campus suppliers have been arrested and indicted.
The five-month investigation began in July. Authorities say undercover officers bought cocaine, marijuana, Ecstasy, Adderall and LSD. In some cases, the LSD was in Altoid breath mints and SweetTARTS candies.
Undercover NYPD narcotics officers reportedly made 31 purchases of a number of various drugs, including cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, Adderall and LSD. Most of these drug deals took place in three separate fraternity houses.
In addition, three suspected drug dealers who allegedly supplied the students were also arrested in the sting. One of these alleged dealers stands accused of selling cocaine, LSD and DMT to undercover officers on seven different occasions and plotting to kidnap and murder two rival cocaine traffickers whom he believed had stolen money from him, police said.
All five students are charged in indictments. They are scheduled to be arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court on Tuesday.

It’s what he intended to do from the first day his freshman year. There is an army of degreed criminals hitting the streets every year. An ivy league degree, to me, is a criminal record, and they should be treated as such by everyone.

Wouldn’t that INCREASE the military spending? This is a waste of resources, not only of law enforcement, but of the thousands of Americans whose lives and economic prospects, whose productive capacity, are ruined not because they used or sold drugs, but because they got caught and thus were taken out of the economy and out of any capacity to enhance their skill set for several months, possibly even years, and robbed of their private property and money via an unjust and puritanical law.

Most small town cops I have encountered in my life have shared this attitude too, they pretty much leave the potheads alone unless they catch them with more than an ounce or so.

Reports show her in Pakistan at the time obama traveled there. Some reports say Peter Geithner was working for the CIA. Drug dealers in the ghetto and drug dealers on campus – bottom line – still drug dealers.
