Oakland Liberation Front Leaflet: ‘How Dare You Even Ask for Non-Violence’

A pamphlet from a group calling itself the “Oakland Liberation Front” has surfaced that mocks any pacifists in the Occupy Oakland movement and calls for violence to achieve the “complete annihilation of capitalism.”
Given the past 24 hours in Oakland, which has seen destructive, violent riots and general chaos at the hands of the Occupiers, the underlying sentiments of the frightening flyer below seem completely in line with the goals of Occupy Oakland.

The pamphlet makes a series of statements about non-violent resistance, then lists a number of accusations about pacifists in the movement, including: “You are the subject that divides under the guise of unity and the people,“ and ”you are their unpaid soldiers.”
The pamphlet goes on to claim that peace signs and non-violence are “the exact forms of mediation the state requires to neutralize people’s individual assertion of their own desires [and] goals.”
The Oakland Liberation Front goes on to demand that any and all pacifists in the movement stand aside, while the real Occupiers violently take on the police and work to bring our entire system down.
Meanwhile, Oakland continues to burn.

The peaceful transformation stage is over. We are entering the violent revolution stage. I’m dead serious, folks. This is a communist takeover. It won’t go away. Even if elections *are* held, they will take place in the midst of fraud and riots.

That means if there’s a law against sleeping in the park, law enforcement should be cleaning them out every night. Yes, they have a right to go to the park and exercise their First Amendment Rights, but they have no right to live in the park! If I lived nearby I’d be outraged at the city for allowing this to go on as long as it has! I‘m livid already and I don’t even live there!

It’s that simple! Call in the state guard if you have to! Not enough room in the local jails? Build temporary ones like Joe Arpaio did down in Arizona to house all the law-breaking illegal aliens! What will really help and I keep harping on this are LRADS Every company, bank, industrial yard, etc needs to have these…
I’m concerned that they are now looking to block commerce, they are going to rush power plants, telco centers, data centers, possibly armories and other key strategic targets, look to take over…
The police and national guard need to set up a perimeter, box these animals in and they are going to need to either be arrested or put down like rabbid animals, those arrested are going to be a problem no matter what, because they will get out and go right back, so what to do? Start releasing a lot of petty criminals early and put them on community work release, put these animals in and put them on chain gangs to do work, they need to be put into productive use, letting them out and letting them have all this free time is the problem.

The people are sick of their heavyhandedness in numerous situations, not just becoming violent with protestors.
The police have a history of using agent provocatuers to infiltrate protests and cause disruptions or spark violence by attacking the cops.
I never advocated rioting and attacking police or destroying personal property. They ought to be dealt with accordingly. But the cops have been trying to break up protests that aren’t even violent, and becoming violent WITH the protestors.
The police are not the “law”. If those protestors are destroying private property and tearing up businesses, then yea, stop ‘em. If the police are really corrupt then you need to find ways to covertly get REAL evidence, not a 1/2 way through a confrontation video only showing a guy on the ground bleeding or dead… what FULL events lead up to it…. was a guy running through the neighborhood with a gun, do you want the police to take him out or risk him running past some 5 year old, snatching them up and putting that kid in harms way or to just start randomly shooting to distract the police with people bleeding to get them to call of the pursuit… I used to live a few blocks from a city project, I had a lot of friends who lived there, I know from them first hand what “techniques” are used to put police into bad situations to make it look like its there fault, to do a victim setup, so I know the inside from the criminal side of this, but there are dirty cops, I knew two brothers who all they talked about was they couldn’t wait to shoot someone, that was unnerving to hear a person who is a cop say that.
There are far more good cops then bad, to describe any group or party as all bad (except the KKK and Black Panthers) is just wrong.

It’s perfectly valid for me to judge the Police as a whole, because it is a public institution.
I don’t need “real evidence” as you describe. It’s already well established that the police as an institution have an extensive history of violence, abuse, corruption, etc. I have the right to draw my own conclusions from the facts presented, what I research and experience, and my conclusion is valid whether or not you agree with it.
You just asserted that there are more good cops than bad (based on …what?), and I assert that the institution as a whole is corrupt (based on their extensive history), yet you criticize me for generalizing?

The Federal Reserve finances the Police State at taxpayer’s expense. Police have been laid off in Cleveland due to budget cuts because we’re BROKE, and the Fed just prints some of YOUR MONEY, and pays those entitled public servants to put 25 more cops on the streets, while there isn’t any jobs in this recession.
Why? Because they need the cops to bolster a police state against the people who’re suffering due to their misappropriation of funds (banker bailouts and secret loans), and will riot because of it.
Police exist for revenue generation and protection of the Robber Barons. That’s all.

Did we have anarchy before the establishment of police forces in the late 19th century? No. We had sheriffs, duly elected, and deputies, duly appointed, many of whom did not carry weapons. The general populace was considered competent to engage in their own self defense. Hardly some kind of chaotic “anarchy”, if you read history.
The myth of the ‘thin blue line’ is just that, a myth. The police can only come in after the dust settles and take a report, or draw a chalk outline. Occasionally they can be present for things like these riots, however, most of the time their pressence is little more than symbolic.
I don’t hate the police, but neither do I engage in hyperbole and fawning over them. Given my druthers, I’d go back to the original system, personally.
