Obama’s Chief Of Staff Jokes About Relationship With Businesses: ‘They Love the Rhetoric’

While being interviewed by CBS‘s Norah O’Donnell at The Atlantic’s Washington Ideas Forum on Wednesday, White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley sarcastically joked about the administration’s failure to reach out to the business community.

“It’s going great,” he quipped. “Can’t you tell — I mean, you know things are going really great. The debt ceiling was no problem and the business community loves us, and they love the rhetoric — there are just no problems.”

For those unfamiliar with the former JPMorgan CEO, Daley was brought in to replace Rahm Emanuel. He was also charged with the task of forming a useful and productive relationship with the business community. Judging by the laughs he got with his comments, things must not be going well for him:

Now, you conservatives know that these inside-and-out ugly people are going to suck eggs at some point, right? They are desperately frightened of the TEA PARTY, FOX, radio folks who tell the truth and the Americans that are working hard to get the truth out as well. Perhaps they know their ship is sinking; maybe not. But we gotta keep reminding ourselves to keep fighting these libs; which means absolutely no compromise, period. They are pirates that have invaded America; long ago they came and soon they will be vanquished (no, not in a literal way) if we do our diligence. We may not be able to convince many lib zombies but we can cut the head off their leader (no, not in a literal way) so that they are powerless. Let’s get it done. I, for one; am sure that Cain fellow is our guy. THe libs are not looking forward to him being the GOP pick.

Cain is untested in politics. I like what he says. I like his business experience. But I’d much rather go with someone with a proven record of conservatism like Gary Johnson. Why would I pick someone with no political record when I have someone with such a strong proven record?

Why pick someone with no political record? Because we need patriots not politicians. We need someone who will run this country like a successful business. You do realize that George Washington had no political experience, right? You do realize that most of our founding fathers had successful farms, or whatever other business they held. I could google it for you if you’d like, but I don’t have the exact figures at my fingertips. I have awaken, and I don’t like many politicians I see. Even Boehner only is acting right because he wants to be re-elected.

We need to keep em constantly looking over their shoulders and I think their house of cards is getting ready to tumble. We need more proof of corruption and then we need to round em up, lock em up and throw away the key.

And considering how much Obamas raking in from business and wall street, I wonder how many think he’s not just another globalist ( socialist / FASCIST ) governance puppet now?

Like I haven’t been saying this since day ONE here at the Blaze.
It’s called doing my homework, it also helps to know what club all these toads croak in together, the http://www.CFR.org. ( Only Michelle right now, sitting presidents get a “ name scrub”, how convenient.).

I was thinking about those 800 FEMA camps ( bing and find a entire list ) and today’s economy.
It would be a shame if metal thieves took down all the chain link fences at all the non military sites. With today’s economy, anything could happen you know. Plus if martial law is on the horizon, such an fence problem could forestall it, well almost indefinitely if those thieves kept coming back for more. I hope our tax dollars are protected from such nefarious behaviors, perhaps true patriots should check every potential sight, just to be sure?

How would Obumbler know if something was “shovel ready”? First you have to know what a shovel is and how to use one. Community Organizers don’t get their hands dirty, they encourage others to do the real work and then take credit.

According to the Census Bureau corporate profits after taxes soared to a record high in 2010. After tax corporate profits were more than $1.4 trillion dollars in 2010, up almost 20% from 2009. Corporations were able to produce more than before the recession began, while paying their employees less. Total business profits totaled almost $3.5 trillion, or about one-quarter of the entire economy.

It is hard for “business” to flourish or even maintain under communist leadership. If ‘business’ and the government are at odds…that is usually a good thing; especially with this regime. Poor business prospects mean more unemployment. This shill is laughing but he and his president are destroying the nation.
