I try never to watch or listen to him on television or radio, it is like dealing with my Grandson (who is in the 5th grade) But has more honesty and sence about him than our President. I don’t think so. Is there anyway we can keep them from going back to Washington to pass more bills for they have to give up their power? Because I know that they are going to try and trash AMERICA as much as they can before they have to give it up. Obama now knows that his days are numbered. I think he has finally heard the AMERICAN PEOPLE.

The Democrats use the filibuster to block endless judicial appointments and pieces of legislation when not in the majority and decry its use when they are.
They enact legislation in Massachusetts to prevent a Republican governor from appointing a senator for a vacant seat and then overturn it so that a democratic governor can appoint a replacement for Ted Kennedy.
The declare the war lost and blast the surge as a lost cause in Iraq under Bush and then take credit for its success under Obama.
Big brass ones….big brass hypocritical ones.

Why would the Constitution have a 60 vote requirement for the Senate when there were not 60+ Senators when the Constitution was written?

The Founders never intended for the Senate to be elected by ‘the people’, either, as the Senate was supposed to be the States’ representatives to the Federal Governement. Maybe a certain Amendement needs to be repealed so we can go back to what the Founders intended for the Senate.
I just wish that dingbat in the WH understood the Constitution and what the Founders were actually creating.
