Obama Admits: ‘Not as Trendy’ to be a Supporter as it was in 2008

Obama Admits: Not as Trendy to be a Supporter as it was in 2008President Barack Obama’s star power is fading fast — and he knows it.

Speaking at a San Francisco fundraiser Tuesday, Obama admitted that being a supporter of his doesn’t have the same cool factor it did four years ago.

“It’s not as trendy to be an Obama supporter as it was back in 2008 when I was sort of the new thing,” he told a 200-person, minimum $5,000 per head crowd, according to the Associated Press.

With dropping poll numbers, Obama tried to remind supporters of his administration’s accomplishments, including the health care system overhaul and the end of the don’t ask, don’t tell military ban on gay service members. Still, he acknowledged it hasn’t been entirely smooth sailing and that his promise of “change” has at times been difficult to deliver.

“We’ve had setbacks, we’ve had disappointments. I’ve made mistakes on occasion,” he said. Referencing the iconic poster that became synonymous with his 2008 bid, he added: “You know, the ‘hope’ poster is, you know, kind of faded and a little dog-eared.”

Summoning the imagery of a famous San Francisco landmark, Obama seemed to suggest the problems did not rest entirely with him, but with the country as a whole.

“We have lost our ambition, our imagination, and our willingness to do the things that built the Golden Gate Bridge and Hoover Dam and unleashed all the potential in this country,” he said.

His remarks echo similar comments Obama made last month when he declared America has “gotten a little soft.”

“This is a great great country that had gotten a little soft and we didn’t have that same competitive edge that we needed over the last couple of decades,” Obama told a local NBC station in Orlando, Fla. in September. “We need to get back on track.”

The San Francisco appearance was part of a West Coast swing where the president hobnobbed with celebrities in Los Angeles and made an appearance on “The Tonight Show.”

If he doesn’t have his telepromter, this buffoon can’t get out one sentence without burdening us with at least one inappropriate “you know”.

He is not the smartest guy in the room.

He never was the smartest guy in the room.

He is a dope who is more than annoying, when listening to him stammer and stutter, as he tries to speak off the cuff. He can’t do it!

He’s not capable of an original thought, unless he gets it from one of his speach writers.

The dolts that voted for him were hoodwinked, and they’re too stupid to realize it, even after seeing first-hand, what he has done to our country.

Sorry, but Ron Paul is too radical for my tastes. I don’t like the idea of alienating ourselves from the world and that is what he wants. I don’t want to be GLOBAL either, so that is why I have changed my support from Paul to Cain. I cannot see imprisoning Americans inside the USA and that is what he would be doing. Not only that, he always seems like he is angry, which is NOT good if you are in the public eye. PERCEPTION and IMPRESSION is everything in politics. It is NOT Ron Paul’s time. IT IS HERMAN CAIN’S TIME. Now, this is an American I can really get behind! He gets my money and my vote! His 999 plan makes perfect sense. He will surround himself with people who are experts in foreign policy and things that maybe he doesn’t have expertise in, but as for the economy, HERMAN CAIN WILL GET THIS COUNTRY BACK ON TRACK.

It really doesn‘t sound like he’s trying very hard to win votes. I’ve just been reading some troubling facts about the National Popular Vote Compact which was started in 08.It says that the electoral college can be discounted if enough states pass it through there legislatures and it’s signed by their Governors. The Constitution would be ignored once there are enough states pass the compact into law to represent 270 electoral votes. It gives whoever wins the popular election the Presidency regardless of how slim the margin, and without the candidate having to win the states with 270 electoral votes because that many states have voted to give the election to the popular vote winner. One More Way to make an end run around our form of government. Check it out here.

Everytime some American wants to build something, they run-into politicians like Obama saying “no”. Look how long it took to rebuild the fallen Trade Towers. If this was 1920s America the entrepreneur would have dusted off the old schematic, went to work, and rebuilt them within 2-3 years.

But that doesn’t happen now because 20,000 politicians have to get their fingers in the pie & slowdown the rebuilding.

Stop all the campaigning nonsense. Amend US Constitution so Pres. first term is 4 yrs at full pay, 2nd term of 3 yrs at half pay, and 3rd term (no pay) two years. This throws out the every four year election and the predictability of lame duck terms and coattail elections. Parties will hate it but the people would then be able to watch more closely and act like the Founders expected us to. If we don’t all watch this closely from now on, we’ll be done as a Republic (we’re mostly there already). The dynamic has got to change or we set ourselves up for more of the same political gamesmanship. Without changing the political jobs.terms setup for the House and Senate you could make it so they only get paid for their first term and do it for free after that. This would serve as a natural term limiting method. We need people in Congress who love America, not their political ‘job’.

My gut tells me we’ll never make the 2012 election. He‘s smiling because he knows that we won’t make it! A free Nation doesn’t stay free electing someone with no experience and a suspicious background at the least and expect to stay free. Obama won the election because he promised free stuff with no work or effort to get it, He gave lots of free stuff out in his stimulus plan but most of it went to the rich. Anyone sitting back and watching the greed of Americans the last 25 years is well aware of that fact. Obama could win a second term but as a dictator, he won’t need another election!
Tell me do you see anyone even on the right in power making any effort to stop him, I don’t!

Obama’s purported birth certificate alleging “where” he was born, also indicates his parent’s citizenship “when” he was born. These equally important vital “facts” are now beyond Obama’s ability to refute, alter or hide! Unless it’s a fake, the inescapable truth is that his Kenyan father absolutely precludes Obama from being an eligible natural born citizen!

Please don’t let the media or uninformed conservative talk radio or TV hosts, dissuade you from seeking truth and justice as you strive to be an informed voter. Let their credibility suffer by inaction, and not your life! Don’t risk Obama being reelected by the misled masses.

Initiate a local Tea Party petition asking your county sheriff, sworn and empowered to enforce the law of the land, to investigate and subpoena the original HI records for forensic analysis and comparison to Obama’s fraudulent birth certificate and social security number, as alleged by experts.

Demand Congress and the presidential candidates who now each have legal standing, to file a lawsuit against Obama for fraud and failure to qualify as a natural born citizen, meaning born in the US to TWO US citizen parents, as required of the President by the Constitution!

It costs nothing to learn why a “natural born citizen” is not the same thing as a citizen, but it could cost you everything if you don’t.

How to know the truth and remove Obama from office now!
