Obama Adviser David Axelrod Slams Romney for Limbaugh While Planning to Appear on Maher

While blasting GOP presidential contender Mitt Romney for not standing up to the “strident voices” on on the right concerning Rush Limbaugh’s remarks about Democratic activist Sandra Fluke, Obama campaign strategist and key advisor David Axelrod may in fact be planning to appear on “rabid misogynist” Bill Maher’s Real Time.
According to a post in The Daily, HBO spokesman Kelley Carville confirmed Axelrod would be a guest on the late-night talk show.
The Daily adds:
As the controversy over Rush Limbaugh’s comments about Sandra Fluke continued, a former Obama White House official today joined Republicans in pointing out that Maher, who recently donated $1 million to a pro-Obama super PAC, has a history of his misogynistic slurs.
Last year, he was rebuked by the National Organization for Women for calling Sarah Palin a “dumb tw*t.”
“palin is right to point out that bill maher has said some pretty disgusting things about women, comedian or not. they are rush like,” Austan Goolsbee, the former chairman of President Obama’s Council on Economic Advisors, and currently a professor at the University of Chicago, tweeted.
After President Obama spoke with Fluke and invoked his own daughters, Sasha and Malia, in condemning sexist comments, Palin challenged the president’s Super PAC to return Maher’s donation of $1 million.
“Pres. Obama says he called Sandra Fluke because of his daughters. For the sake of everyone’s daughter, why doesn’t his super PAC return the $1 million he got from a rabid misogynist?,” Palin wrote Tuesday on her Facebook page.

Many have said that we should move past this incident, but what has gone on here has happened again and again in conflicts with the left.
Republicans forged the Civil Rights Acts in the 1960s, and Democrats viciously opposed it. But somehow, they twisted the narrative so much that almost no one recalls that past.
Here, conservative women have been routinely ridiculed and slandered with impunity by the left, but less virulent comments made on the right produce fits of hysteria.
This needs to be tackled. This whole current mess started over the conflict with the healthcare contraceptive mandate and the 1st amendment. The left have tried to steer it into a war against women. There is so much out there that not only shows the falsehood of this approach but also the hypocrisy.
