Obama Again Says He Will Have to Circumvent Congress

The president is once again trumpeting his desire — and promise — to circumvent Congress if it doesn’t accomplish his policy objectives. It’s been an oft-repeated mantra of the president and his administration, and in a recent interview with KOAA-TV in Colorado Springs, the president again reaffirmed his position to go it alone.

RealClearPolitics.com has the transcript:

Rob Quirk, KOAA-TV: “And one year from today we will know if this a one-term or two-term president. So, I asked the president what will it take from now until then to not only win Colorado again, but reelection as well.”

President Obama: “Well, what we’re going to have to do is continue to make progress on the economy over the next several months. And where Congress is not willing to act, we’re going to go ahead and do it ourselves. But it would be nice if we could get a little bit of help from Capitol Hill.”

With the left and right heavily into political correctness, how is this happening? Anyone care to see his credentials as a Constitutional scholar and it was what he was teaching? Oh that’s right, they sealed his academic records to hide who he really is and what his true ideaologies are.America’s blood will be on his hands and he will pay the ultimate price down the road.

Yes and I love how congress gets the blame all the time, they have sent 25 bills to Senate but the uber corrupt harry Reid and the the Demorat majority refuse to budge any bills, thus giving Oblahblah his dictorial powers. Both parties are the same. What we need here is our military leaders to step in. And those in power need to launch massive investigations and put these traitors behind bars for good both dem/rep. This crap has to stop and now. He is making a mochary of the prestige of the Presidency.

      How is this happening ?

How did 93 of 100 senators vote for a bill that makes American Citizens “Enemy combatants”?

Are there only 7 American Patriots in the senate ? Yes.

Section 1031 of the NDAA bill, which itself defines the entirety of the United States as a “battlefield,” allows American citizens to be snatched from the streets, carted off to a foreign detention camp and held indefinitely without trial. The bill states that “any person who has committed a belligerent act” faces indefinite detention, but no trial or evidence has to be presented, the White House merely needs to make the accusation.

They will say that American citizens are specifically exempted under the following language in Sec. 1032: “The requirement to detain a person in military custody under this section does not extend to citizens of the United States. Don’t be fooled. All this says is that the President is not REQUIRED to indefinitely detain American citizens without charge or trial. It still PERMITS him to do so.

Here is what Sen. Lindsey Graham said on the National Defense Authorization Act:
“If you’re an American citizen and you betray your country, you’re not going to be given a lawyer.”

Really ? So he willfully and blatantly ignores the Constitution and the will of the people.
This POS should be jailed and tryed for treason.

Another thing Lindsey, I would never betray my Country. but that is exactly what you have done !!!

As for Reid, I’d like to see that b*stard hung by his neck for all the obstruction he’s committed over the last few years. I’m starting to believe Reid is actually evil and Obama is just a plain Marxist hellbent on destroying the United States of America. Time to gather up our pitchforks & head to DC. praising the military, promising resources for vets, to get military on his side……I see these small interviews as a cheap and easy way to answer questions that he (Obama) has given the interviewer….rehearsed answer, to set the stage….trying to make himself appear strong by ‘doing it anyway’ and congress weak, by them ‘not getting things done’, sets up the answer as making it obvious that congress is just a figure-head and not really needed.

has done this in the past and continues….imagine if he’s not concerned with re-election.

the fact is that if Obama is granted a second term, he will use that as an approved mandate to do what-ever the #@$% HE sees fit…………

Because the Christians and Conservatives did not vote in the majority of Senators and House with Conservative Representatives. We needed the majority in both houses in order to have the power over Obama. WEST Virginia voted for Manchin (D) because he fed them a line of bull promising he would repeal Obamacare, which he did not. And promising he would help them in their coal industry, which he didn’t do. So they voted for their own stomachs instead of helping all the economy by voting in the Conservatives to take the Senate majority. This just made them look stupid to me.

Fort Carson, NORAD and the rest of the military installations in Colorade need to move to a state that appreciates the sacrifices of our warriors not just giving them lip service. Paul will continue to fight for the same pro-life solutions he has upheld in Congress, including:

Immediately saving lives by effectively repealing Roe v. Wade and preventing activist judges from interfering with state decisions on life by removing abortion from federal court jurisdiction through legislation modeled after his “We the People Act.”

Defining life as beginning at conception by passing a “Sanctity of Life Act.”

      Paul on Defense youtube.com/watch?v=ATmUE8TCmjE

He’s for Just Wars, “We must only send our men and women to fight for our country when the mission is clear, every necessary tool needed to win is provided, and we respect the Constitution by declaring war. Once war is declared, it must be waged according to Just War principles. We should only fight when it’s in our national security interest, and we should no longer do the corrupt United Nation’s bidding by policing the world. In Congress, I never vote for any piece of legislation that violates the Constitution’s strict limits on government power.” ronpaul2012.com/the-issues/statement-of-faith/

Newsmax: What should our relationship be with Israel?

Paul: We should be their friend and their trading partner. They are a democracy and we share many values with them. But we should not be their master. We should not dictate where their borders will be nor should we have veto power over their foreign policy.

He would cut back on Military spending, not Defense spending. In his plan he does not cut one penny from Defense spending. Bringing our troops home to secure our own borders, is National Defense. Sending our troops to fight for foreign Rulers and their Citizens, is Militarism. Obama without the authority of Congress got us involved with Libya. He also sent troops to Uganda. Uganda nor Libya pose any National threat to us. That is wasteful spending. Especially now that we have a huge debt and are broke. Paul cannot legalize any drug when president. He believes those are State powers. The Constitution confers to the President and Congress no powers to govern in the matters of drugs. Those are State issues. Not even California was able to legalize marijuana in a popular vote. So this argument that he will legalize drugs is moot and irrelevant. He wants to bring our troops home to secure our borders. He will put an end to the drug cartels and human trafficking on our side of the border.

      Paul’s statement of faith:

I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and I endeavor every day to follow Him in all I do and in every position I advocate.

It is God Who gave us life. As He is free, so are those He created in His image. Our rights to life and liberty are inalienable.

I’m running for President of the United States because I believe that our traditions and way of life are under attack from an out-of-control federal government and reckless politicians who show no regard for what our Founders entrusted to our protection.

America became the greatest nation in human history because a dedicated band of Patriots believed their God-given rights were worth fighting for, even if it meant challenging the world’s most powerful nation in what many deemed a “hopeless” cause.

Being free meant so much to our forefathers that they put everything on the line – and thousands sacrificed their lives – to give the promise of liberty to not only their children and grandchildren, but to generations they knew they would never even meet.

Their courage and determination guaranteed they would defy the odds and achieve victory.

In this critical election, you and I must decide if the principles of limited government and personal freedom are worth fighting for once again…

How can an American patriot and Christian not support him?

The Republic is already gone. A full 90% of all federal government actions, agencies and programs are unconstitutional, we engage in military action without war being declared, and we have a fawning attitude towards anybody who wears a uniform. Our taxes are beyond the dreams of English Kings, we have almost 200 pages of law/regulation added to the book every single day of the year and we have one of the most controlled and locked down markets in the “free” world. We thrive on fear and thrills and cheap bread and circuses, and our education level as a whole is woefully poor compared to how educated we were when education was a local or home affair. Most people are amoral and most political leaders are pragmatists.

No sir, we’re long dead as a Republic. God only knows what we are now, and what we’re becoming.

Don‘t ever believe that it’s not OK to hate someone or something.
They rely on our basic morality to be able to stab the collective back of America.
