Obama Aide Dismisses Trump ‘Sideshow Behavior’

WASHINGTON (AP) — A senior White House aide says real estate tycoon and prospective GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is displaying “sideshow behavior” in questioning President Barack Obama’s American birth and respect for the Constitution.

Senior White House adviser David Plouffe says that “there’s zero chance“ Trump would be ”hired” by the American people as president.

Plouffe’s comment, a riff on Trump’s business-themed reality TV show, came after he was asked on ABC “This Week” about the tycoon’s recent swipes at Obama.

Officials in Hawaii have long certified Obama’s birth there, but Trump has revived questions about whether the president was born abroad and now suggests Obama may have violated the Constitution.

    The birther issue aside, what Mr.Trump is doing, by flirting with the notion of running for the presidency, is a disservice to Conservatives, the Republic, and the Nation, as a whole. Those who support Mr. Trump running under the Republican ticket are Progressive stooges. Donald Trump is a PROGRESSIVE CHARLATAN. Anyone who thinks othewise is either A.) Uneducated or B.) A Progressive Ally.

    Do NOT take my word for it. Google “Donald Trump political contributions”. It will take a fraction of your time, and it will save you from publicly embarrassing yourself by supporting a Trump candidancy.

    Research ANYONE whom you may believe to be a viable candidate. Do NOT allow Donald Trump (or the like) to scuttle any chances of replacing the current administration.

      Gee, I wonder why the republican(s) are so slow getting out of the gate. . .Hmm, SURVEY. says 17-19 Trillion in debt, a legal system that has been obliterated, A nation more divided that when Wallace stood in the school house door, a healthcare system that will implode, an energy production and distribution network that is halof usable, God knows what else has been done that NOONE in the public knows about, demonstrating to, until 2009 were our allies. in the middle east total lack of leadership, strength and responsibility. Acting like a second rate third world country to everyone else.
      With those problems- and others- I would suggest that if ANYBODY would be inclined to address them- a thouroghevaluation be made public, well in advance of the election. If Trump wants in- ii have NO problem with it!!

      By your own logic, would you then support a Hillary Clinton run for the Whitehouse, if she switched party affiliations and challenged Obama on his birth certificate, among other issues? Is the (R) so much better than the (D)? Or is it the actual candidate, their beliefs, and their political philosophy that is more important?

      I would suggest that the nation is far more divided and in peril than in Wallace’s day. I would even go so far as to claim, that only during the Civil War has the nation faced more internal conflict.

      Of course, if Trump wants to join the race, I too, have no problem with it. But I will NOT be voting for Trump. I instead choose to support a Conservative/Libertarian candidate that is consistent in their views and not continually “evolving” on such issues as taxes, abortion, and Constitutional interpretation.

      I suggest you seriously Google “Donald Trump political contributions” and read his congratulatory letter to Nancy Pelosi’s speakership.

      At any rate, Donald Trump is a perfect candidate for any true Progressive Republican.

    I am 65 years old born in Denver Colo Mercy hospital and have had a certified copy of my BC in my possession all of my adult life, which I needed to get my passport. I am an American citizen, but just your regular everyday working stiff, my one question is, if I need my BC to prove my identity and place of birth, why doesn’t Obama have his? I mean with all the official things he has done in the past, why has he never been asked for his all this time. When he traveled overseas didn’t he need his BC when he applied for his passport. I am amazed that me being just an ordinary American have needed it many times in the past, why didn’t he? I know the lefties on this board will say it isn’t any of my business, or that he showed the COLB, but there is no information on it, like hospital, Doctor or any of the information that can be verified, also there is no marriage or divorce decree on record for his parents, shouldn’t they be recorded somewhere? As a American Citizen I have the right to know exactly who the leader of my country is, this issue will not go away until these questions are answered. Old school records, sealed, transcripts, sealed, if I was as smart as everyone say’s Obama is I would be proud to show my transcripts and records verifying this. Anyway it’s a beautiful day in Colorado and I wish you all have a great day. I almost forgot to mention that I am a registered unaffiliated “independent”, but i do have a horse in this race, the best man or woman that can lead my country out of the wilderness we seem to be in.

      It is all hidden because his legal name is Barry Sotero, not Barack Hussain Obama. He merely adopted his father’s name as a young adult, but never bothered to legally change it.

      It makes perfect sense…a mere technicality to those on the left.

      Anything he has ever done is null and void. He needs to be impeached, removed from office and jailed for fraud, false identity, violating an Oath of Office and high treason.

    So…the White House is just poo pooing this birth certificate issue away, we are to believe!? Don’t believe that for one second. They are desperate to paint anyone that brings up the issue of a birth certificate, or the lack thereof, as some sideshow or idiot. Sorry David Plouffe…let your boss know that he may be ignoring what’s going on, but WE ARE NOT. Since Obama put his bid in for re-election, it puts the birth certificate issue right smack dab on the table, and that‘s exactly where it’s going to stay until we see one. I noticed that David Plouffe did not bring PROOF that Donald Trump was wrong. I saw that Mr. Plouffe DID NOT produce the ORIGINAL birth certificate, the real social security number, the college records, the passport records, etc. He didn’t throw them out for us to see, SOOO we still don’t have any answers.
    Mr. Plouffe smiles and says that he doesn’t think that Donald Trump could win the Presidency. Really!? I have a feeling that if Donald Trump continues on this path of proving that Obama is the FRAUD, LIAR, COUNTERFEIT, IMPOSTER, and IMITATOR that many of us already know him to be, the country will sweep Donald Trump into the White House regardless of his politics, his religion, his beliefs, his businesses, whatever…because he will have done the country the biggest service ever by exposing the biggest scam, the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on this country since it’s founding. Sooo, bring it on Mr. Plouffe…we are ready for you and the Obama!

      Trump will never win the nomination. But he will serve a vital purpose. He will handle the birther thing, which is a perfectly legitimate issue considering Obama’s attempt to cover it up.

      Then he can also bring up economic issues in the debates. Then we can elect our real candidate!

    His birth certificate would show his adopted name….Barry Soetoro….he was adopted by his sted dad in Indonisia and there is no record that he changed his name back legally and also…..that would make him an Indonisian. Everything he signed as BHO……would they even be legal? The gov. in Hawaii suddenly gave up his efforts….why? Because it has the wrong name on it! Just google the name Barry Soetoro and see what you find!

      There is no long form birth certificate. Officials have said so.

      This does not change Obama being a US citizen however, since a regular certificate is totally sufficient to prove that.

      What is a regular certificate? I cannot send in the hospital form saying that I was born, I need the state document stating when, where, and to whom I was born. Even my father who was born on the farm, can get this.

      You all know this is nothing but a distraction/ misdirection created by BHO! I have tried to pass on my theory to Mr Trump as I think he is the only one with the power to get answers. The WH will play this off and label ppl b/c its all part of the plan. It wouldnt surprise me if someone within his own camp planted the birther seed. Why? Why the mystery? To make his detractors look crazy, to dismiss them and those who follow them, playing the poor victim role?!

      Fact BHO has sealed his records. Fact NO ONE has come forward to say I went to school with him, he taught me etc etc. Doesnt anyone find it odd there is no one speaking of their personal experiences with him from his past? Actions speak louder than words, his actions are those of someone clearly hiding something. Forget all that though why the cloak and dagger on his past?

      As I mentioned IMO its all been orchestrated by BHO to keep prying eyes off the logical theory. The distraction and misdirection is to keep eyes on his birth issue and OFF what his legal identity is.

      The birther movement should get away from this conspiracy theory they have and approach this question of who BHO is from a new angle. Find out whether or not BHO was in fact adopted by Lolo Soetoro, when his mother remarried? If that is true then the next question; was his name LEGALLY changed to Barry Soetoro? (A name many have referenced he has gone by.)

      We know his mother sent him back to the US to live with his grandparents, after her marriage to Soetoro failed, but if his name was legally changed to Barry Soetoro did his grandparents even think to LEGALLY CHANGE HIS NAME back to BHO when he moved back to Hawaii? Is it safe to assume that his grandparents, heck any of our families, would overlook the name change since it happened overseas and just start calling our kid the name that we have always known them by after a failed marriage!? Safe to assume we all could agree that 40 yrs ago it was the last thing on anyones mind. Oddly, sites like Snopes and FactCheck never deny such an assumption within the birther argument and in debunking of the birther theory sites like these even support the theory being presented here!

      Quite frankly it means if Barack Obama’s LEGAL name is Barry Soetoro and thats the name on his drivers license, medical, educational, financial records etc, the name he has signed his name to be, he is in fact committing identity fraud every single time he has signed his name Barack Hussein Obama II! The Presidency would be void, every single bill signed into law by BHO VOID, spending/deficit etc all under him void and would throw the US into chaos.

      For the information on his true identity to get out now would be catastrophic to the US and possibly the world. His entire life would be turned inside out, he would also be disbarred and any legal proceeding he handled prior to his political career would be void too! Legal matters performed by Obama for SEIU, ACORN etc could have a devastating effect on their operations. What about all of those who sat and heard his lectures who went on to be attorneys etc? You see? Do you see the real reason why the cloak and dagger act?

      This would explain the real reason behind all his records (education, medical, financial aid and travel) being sealed. Travel is mentioned, as it has also been reported that he traveled to Pakistan in the early 80′s. As it’s understood Americans could not travel there, so one would need a passport from some other nation to get there. Well if he was adopted by Soetoro and had his name legally changed in Indonesia this would make total sense as to how BHO traveled to Pakistan on an Indonesian passport/visa. This is/was ammo for the birther movement and this identity theory but it was not true as Americans could travel to Pakistan in 1981. Regardless these documents (passports) are sealed, why? When applying for financial aid/ medical care etc he would have given his real LEGAL name without thinking twice, again nothing malicious; those records though are sealed too.

      Do you really believe the Clinton machine would not have gotten their hands on his birth certificate the moment his citizenship was in question 3 years ago? H3LL no, but overlook what has been suggested here…. H3LL yes!

      If he does not raise sufficient awareness about Obama‘s eligibility during Obama’s campaign (nice time to shine the light on him!), then Trump will run so that he can ask Obama directly during debate, “Who’s your daddy?” And Obama is sweating bullets!

      Although I am interested, SAVING, I do not believe we have anything to research or “find out.” The burden of proof is not on us. That’s what Trump is saying. The candidate should PROVE eligibility, or he/she is not eligible. The discussion should be around the precedent we‘d set by ignoring Obama’s inability to produce a birth certificate.

      How can they have long certified obama’s birth there unless they have his actual birth certificate when the governor himself says that obama was born there but had to admit that they are unable to find any trace of a birth certificate in the files. No birth certificate = not born there = not natural born in the US (actually when talking about obama I don’t see where the word natural can fit into ANY description of obama.)

      Why do you think it is wrong to ask for Barry”s birth certificate. Every other president has shown theirs along with their transcripts in school, Where are Barry’s. He is our employee we are his employers every where I have ever applied for a position I was required to show some kind of ID plus school transcripts. I never thought anything about this until Barry spend millions to stop any court from showing said documents. Something is very wrong here.

      Why do they continue to attack the messenger, instead of proving it without a doubt what his status is as an American. I know the answer. Thats a rechtorical question. it’s like the a defense lawyer when he justifies his cleints murder accusation by telling how bad the victim was.
      Also, if these folks (Obama people) know something is wrong how long do they think they will get away with it. Because, if it is proven that this guy was president illegally, everything he put forth will be rejected. And he could go to jail.
