Obama Approves Use of Predator Drones in Libya

WASHINGTON (AP) — Pentagon chief Robert Gates says President Barack Obama has approved the use of armed Predator drone aircraft in Libya.
An unmanned U.S. Predator drone.
Gates told a Pentagon news conference that the Predator is an example of the unique U.S. military capabilities that Obama is willing to contribute to a coalition military campaign in Libya, while other countries enforce a no-fly zone.
Marine Gen. James Cartwright, speaking alongside Gates, said the first Predator mission was scheduled for Thursday but it was scratched due to poor weather. Cartwright said the Predators allow low-level precision attacks on Libyan government forces.

As soon as obama got in, there hasn’t been a single headline on anything to do with war!! We must end all support for lamestream media. Don’t subscribe. Write in complaints. This drone approval is so played down everywhere else it is sickening. If Bush had done this there would have been riots, protests, etc., and all the papers and news websites would cover it as the only major story!

If not before the end of next month, I will be suprised. Mission creep is once again happening just as in Somalia, and from what I understand of history the same occured in Vietnam. Obama needs to have another war going to further exhaust and drain the military of the US; so that when a genuine emergency happens – at home or overseas, then there shall be no opposition to the progressives final push for absolute control.
He needs to break the military; weather by them refusing orders against an enemy or friend (if he were to attack Israel) or simply to stop his agenda. The military plus the armed citizens of the land are the last bastion of hope for the nation.

Where do we get the money for this, big oil like Nancy says, or Wall Street like Obama says, or do the funds come from Think Progress? We all know the real answer, it’s from all of us taxpayers who keep getting the shaft. I imagine all the drones and weapons are made by GE, Obama’s best friend.
