Obama Asked Tough Questions During Radio Interview: ‘Red or Green?’

President Barack Obama hasn’t taken a question from the White House press corps in more than eight weeks. He has, however, found time to do interviews with Entertainment Tonight and People Magazine (the same people covering Kim Kardashian’s latest tweet, or divorce … or whatever).
Much to the press corps’ growing irritation, it seems the president is deliberately avoiding answering tough questions.
Case in point: Barack Obama on Friday did an interview with some DJ’s at 93.3 KOB.FM in New Mexico and these are some of the hard-hitting questions he fielded:
1) What’s your favorite song to work out to?
2) Red or green?
3) If you had a superpower, what would it be?
Really? Is this for real? Yes. Yes, it is.
“There’s nothing wrong with doing softball interviews during a campaign cycle. Lots of people vote based on likeability, and to that end one’s take on the mole in Albuquerque is a matter of great regional importance,” POLITICO’s Dylan Byers notes.
“Music matters even more — Nick Hornby has argued that you can tell a lot more about a person by what they like than by what they’re like,” he adds.
And Byers is right: There’s nothing wrong with a softball interview every now and then, especially if you’re trying to work on your likability rating. Answers to questions about favorite songs make people seem more accessible and relatable.
But by only answering what BuffFeed’s Zeke Miller rightly calls “ridiculous questions” while dodging the White House press corps for more than eight weeks, the president probably isn’t doing much for his image.

Leno, ET and Letterman are much better for his rock star image and followers. Maybe ET can get video of Barack and wife kissing again at their new worship stone in Chicago. That would certainly give the swoonies something to rave about for the next few weeks.

The economy is in the toliet, unemployment 8.3 (23,000,000 unemployed or underemployed, for those who cannot count that high, that is 23 million people, use to be taxpayers), Obamacare is a tax, and the list goes on. All he and his staff can do is attack the Republicans with nasty ads that are unbecoming of our President. Where is his honesty, integerity and character. We are supposed to look up to our leader and defend him but he has made that impossible. How can you defend a man who lies to the American people and the media goes along with it.
