Obama Campaign Selling BFD Health Care T Shirts

What do you think of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul?

According to his re-election campaign, it’s a “BFD.”

That’s the message on a new T-shirt for sale on Obama’s campaign site: “Health Reform — STILL a BFD.”

It refers to Vice President Joe Biden’s famous reference to the Affordable Care Act as a “big f–king deal” after Obama signed it into law two years ago.

“Stand with President Obama by reminding your friends and family that health care reform is still a BFD,” a description of the shirt says.

It’s selling for $30.

Obama’s official Twitter account promoted the T-shirt Friday night, though without the customary “-BO” tag to indicate the president actually wrote the tweet himself:

The Obama campaign doesn’t have a perfect track record with its T-shirts: As The Blaze previously reported, some complained about an “O’Bama” St. Patrick’s Day-themed shirt that messed up the actual symbol of Ireland.

Update: According to The Atlantic, the Democratic National Committee unveiled a similar limited edition “BFD” shirt in 2010.

      Don’t Protestants believe that fasting is a “work” ? and all of our “works” are as filthy rags to God? I didn’t think that Protestants believed that fasting (or any other kind of work) is pleasing to God? Can someone please explain to me the Protestant understanding of fasting and what it accomplishes? According to Protestant theology Isn’t faith the only thing that is pleasing to God? Every now and then I read posts on here from non-Catholic Christians that confuse me. On the one hand none of our works amount to anything in the eyes of God but on the other we are all going to fast and pray? Am I mistaken? Do Protestants agree that fasting and prayer is pleasing to God? If so, does that mean that
      fasting or any other work can be efficacious?

      I agree whole heartedly. and to CATB my supplemental health insurance went up twice since the first of the year. Up almost $60/month in almost 4 months.       St. Mark 9:26-29……Jesus commanded a dumb & deaf spirit come out of him, the disciples asked why they couldn’t cast out the spirit and Jesus replied: “This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.
      This is the KJV of Christian Bible and has many examples of fasting and prayer. So I will do it.

      I see that “free market” principles are no big deal when they work for the communist left. Only when they work for the conservatives, are they a problem.

      IMHBLO, Health care ‘reform’ was part of the communist agenda for socialization. And here’s why:

      What we really needed “IS” Trot reform of the existing health care system. Not a “new” system.

      But, this was “forced” on us because of the absolute corruption of the existing system AND the involvement of congress in that corruption.

      Had Tort reform been the path, we would have seen exposed a great many of our elected ‘officials’ who were so insanely on board with ‘just flushing the old system.’ Because they were in collusion with the health care industry, they were insider trading on insurance giants like AIG while passing favorable legislation for that company.

      Tort reform would have exposed this collusion. Exposed politicians, business leaders, the stock market and brokerage houses, Humana, United and others and a host of Doctors, lawyers and others who had worked for decades behind the veil of “parliamentary” procedure and secrecy for their own benefit. All the while sacking Americans.

      Well, come on people. He had a tough childhood.

      He was rejected by his father who was a Marxist/Muslim or Muslim/Marxist.

      Later by his mother, who had communist ideas

      Raised by Marxist grandparents.

      Had a Marxist as a mentor.

      He never had a chance to be his own person and find value in that.

      Always trying to please to be loved. He is looking for his father everywhere.

      Catering to Marxists and Muslims. Even to the point of bowing down before them.

      The unfortunate part is instead of growing into the role of

      PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

      he became the salesman of t-shirts.

      Dear God, the world must be wondering what is wrong with the people of the United States.
