Obama Campaign Sends E-Mail Plea Admitting ‘We Got Beat 3 Months in a Row’

The polls may still show President Barack Obama up against his challenger, Mitt Romney, but when it comes to fundraising, he’s trailing his Republican opponent. On Monday, TheBlaze reported that for the third straight month, Romney and the Republican National Committee (RNC) out-raised Obama and the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

(Related: Romney & the RNC Raise $101 Million+ in July —Outraise Obama & DNC for 3rd Straight Month)

Just hours after it was announced that Romney and the RNC brought in a whopping $101 million (Obama and the DNC raised an impressive $75), an unsigned note found its way into the e-mail boxes of supporters across America.

Obama Campaign Sends E mail Warning of Possible Fundraising Trouble“We got beat three months in a row. If we don’t step it up, we’re in trouble,” the e-mail admitted, going on to still attempt to instill faith amidst fiscal troubles. ”Can we win if we’re outspent? YES, but we’ve got to close that gap as much as we can.”

The e-mail also took aim at Republican donor and casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, claiming that it would take 188,679 Obama donors giving an average of $53 in July to equal up to “one Sheldon Adelson with a $10,000,000 pledge,” Yahoo! reports.

Fundraising hasn’t been quite so easy for the president in 2012 as it was in 2008. Obama has increasingly been turning to Hollywood to bring in campaign cash and has relied upon expensive fundraisers to try and drive money flow.

Despite supposed fears over campaign finances and an obvious attempt to rally supporters to open their wallets, Obama re-election staffers aren’t too worried, it seems, about their coffers. The Christian Science Monitor has more about what those within the campaign are reporting:

Obama aides say their campaign is bringing in enough money to stay competitive in television advertising. The campaign has already purchased most of its air time in battleground states through Election Day using money it raised earlier in the cycle.

The campaign also has poured tens of millions of dollars into setting up field offices in battleground states, launching registration drives and compiling data on voters — all expensive efforts that could pay dividends for Obama in November. The Romney campaign is still setting up those efforts in some states and will probably have to devote a significant amount of its incoming cash to doing so.

Three months from Election Day, Democrats say Romney’s fundraising gains have not forced the Obama campaign to re-evaluate its fall strategy, cut back on staffing or shift resources — signs that would show a campaign in financial trouble.

Obama Campaign Sends E mail Warning of Possible Fundraising Trouble

Also, as CBS News notes, the Obama campaign is claiming that one doesn’t need to raise more than opponents in order to win an election. To corroborate this point, officials pointed to the fact that Democrat John Kerry out-raised George W. Bush in 2004 — and still lost.

Regardless of what happens, one thing is for certain: The 2012 campaign is going to be hard-fought, with both sides fervently energizing their bases.

Obama, you have been using taxpayer money when and where you should not be for about 3 1/2 years now. You don’t need donors you are a wizz at fudging the numbers. The only beating I am waiting for is in November…after that I will gladly donate to your relocation fund!!!

What is really going on is that all of Obama’s big money backers have decided to back Mitt Romney as they do not care which one gets elected. The polls do show that Obama is winning and his percentage keeps going up almost daily, He is presently ahead in the polls by +3.5, up from +3.4 yesterday. These polls are almost identical to the polls between McCain and Obama in ‘08. The problem is that the GOP has not learned their lesson of trying to nominate a candidate that, with their record, could be in the Democrat Party.

This is from Dick Morris yesterday.

So don’t believe the garbage being put out by the media. The attempt to portray Romney as not catching on and as dropping in the polls is ludicrous. It is, at best, the product of incompetent polling and, at worst, the result of deliberate media bias. But Romney is winning and expanding his lead each week. That’s the real story.

Hey West Coast Pat, We Want our Country Back beat me to send you that dickmorris link. Obozo isn’t really leading in the polls. Don’t get mad… it’s like the Silent Giant is waking up and growing everyday. The opposite of what you are saying west coast pat…. I know your steadfast in you belief, and sure as the sun comes up I can’t figure out why 1 person would vote for Barrack Obozo, but what do I know…

I know this as sure as the see comes up West Coast Pat… call me whatever you want… it matters not….If Romney were winning in the Polls, then the On the Teat Media would fabricate the polls to show the opposite. So, I’m telling you that the Internal Polling shows a total opposite outcome from what you opine… (Romney is up 3.4% to 3.5%)

Also, remember Carter v. Reagan…1980… Pass it on WCP.

I can’t wait to see what you Paulbots do when 0bama loses the election. You have pretended that you supported someone else, told every lie you could come up with and viciously attacked every potential opponent of 0bama’s to help him get reelected. You’re going to need a lot of counseling when you have to watch him lose.

Doomytram and QP, Look, I do not want to see Obama reelected anymore than you do, but I see things differently as far as the RESEARCH I have done. I do not just sit around and let a handful of establishment reporters tell me what they say the truth is, as they have lied about so many things during this primary. You guys just seem to think that they are Gods of the news world, and you could not be farther from the truth. Dick Morris? Although I agree that some polls are skewed by the left, I also believe the polls are skewed by the right. Real Clear Politics was founded by two conservatives that were tired of the medias bias toward conservatives and religious/christian conservatives. Their site was correct all the way through the ‘08 polling when the GOP put another big government progressive up as the nominee, and the polls from ‘08 with McCain vs. Obama, are almost identical to Romney vs. Obama this year, so I will go with the pollster that was correct in the past. Morris just says a pollster that he trusts, but does not say who it is.

All I know is this, Romney is not a conservative, but he is being trusted to govern like he is. I am tired of politicians that move their positions depending on what they are trying to achieve, and I have said this many times: If a candidate has to move their position to the left, right or center in order to win your vote, they are lying to you. cont…

Ron Paul has been steadfast in his philosophies based on the Constitution and individual liberty. He has been called crazy throughout his career for his predictions, and then his predictions come true, so how does that make him crazy? He does not lie, but most do not like hearing the truth so they tune him out. He would defeat Obama by a landslide, but all of you do not see it as you listen to people like Crazy Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Dick Morris and all the other establishment reporters.

We Paul supporters were treated very unfairly through the primary and the RNC continues to discount us as though they do not want us, so we will give them what they want. We will not vote for lefrtist Romney, we will find another avenue, but that does not make us Obama supporters at all. It will not be Paul supporters that will cause the GOP to lose this November, it will be the GOP and their establishment thinking that will cause that to happen.

For all those who read and not post here, I want you to click on the Paul basher name on their posts. I want you to notice that they are posting well beyond the time frame to answer us. They are paid shills to distract from the grassroots message and divide us. You must wake up as I did just a mere 11 months ago!!! Look at what is happening! Someone like Paul has a chance. The RNC and Romney campaign are doing what Obama does best within their own party. There is nothing sleazier than that.
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzuSDqam5T4&feature=youtu.be
They have committed federal crimes, broken RNC rules, committed acts of violence that caused some to be admitted to the emergency room, attempted to go around state party laws , and everything else you can possibly imagine. Are you really with a group that would stoop to these Obama style tactics?? Well, will you??
