Obama Clarifies: ‘I Didn’t Say Change We Can Believe in TOMORROW’

You had to see this coming.
After Obama quipped earlier this summer that shovel-ready jobs weren’t as shovel-ready as “we expected,” it seemed that a central tenet of the 2012 campaign was probably going to be something along the lines of, we just haven’t had enough time. At his Chicago fundraiser last night, that’s exactly the stance he took, even going back to blaming George W. Bush:

“It’s been a long, tough journey. But we have made some incredible strides together. Yes, we have. But the thing that we all ought to remember is that as much as good as we have done, precisely because the challenges were so daunting, precisely because we we were inheriting so many challenges, that we’re not even halfway there yet. When I said ‘change we can believe in’ I didn‘t say ’change we can believe in tomorrow.’ Not change we can believe in next week. We knew this was going to take time because we’ve got this big, messy, tough democracy,” President Obama said at a campaign fundraiser in Chicago on Wednesday night.”

The irony being that we were told that bailouts, tarp, Health Care, etc.. were going to turn our country around, lower our deficit, create jobs, and save America. But now his tune is “give me another four years this time i’ll change things.”
It will be a scary day if this man gets re-elected. You think he is bad now? This is a president that keeps in mind he needs to go after re-election. If he gets re-elected then he doesn’t have to worry about putting together another re-election campaign. He will use his executive power to do some pretty dark things to this country. I hope our country wakes up and I hope that black people don’t just vote for him because he is black.
I feel like Obama is the guy who tells his wife jsut how beautiful and in love he is with her, all the while behind her back is cheating. He tells the country about all this great change he is going to provide while making our debt worse, our unemployment rate sky rocket, ship jobs overseas, sell guns to mexican cartels, become a little sissy when it comes to terrorists. I so hope this man gets the boot.
