Obama Demands Congress Pass His Jobs Bill Immediately

WASHINGTON (The Blaze/AP) — President Barack Obama says he’s sending his jobs bill to Congress on Monday and lawmakers should pass it immediately with no games, politics or delays. The president reiterated this statements in a special address earlier this morning.
The bill Obama unveiled in a speech to Congress last week aims to create thousands of jobs through a blend of tax cuts, spending on public works projects and aid to state and local governments. ForexTV.com has more on the proposal:
The centerpiece of the plan is an extension and further cut in the payroll tax, which alone accounts for roughly $240 billion of the $447 billion plan. The measure would lower the payroll tax paid by employees to 3.1 per cent. It currently stands at 4.2 per cent, lowered from the normal 6.2 per cent rate after a tax deal passed last year. Without an extension, the extension will expire on December 31.
The plan also includes, among other measures, $140 billion in infrastructure spending, $35 billion in aid to local and state governments in an effort to stem the tide of layoffs of teachers, police officers, and firefighters, and $49 billion to keep the duration of unemployment insurance at 99 weeks.
During the speech, Obama reiterated his call to Congress to act swiftly on his jobs proposals. Aside from pushing hard to ensure passage, he slammed opponents who he sees as putting politics ahead of country:
“This is the bill I’m sending to Congress today…a bill that will put people back to work all across the country.
The only thing that is stopping passage of this bill is politics. These are not games we are playing. People are out of work.”
Obama’s address took place in the Rose Garden, where he was surrounded by teachers, police officers and firefighters – people the White House says would benefit from the bill.
In an interview with NBC’s Brian Williams, the president claimed that his proposal ”almost certainly helps the economy grow and will put more people back to work, and that’s what the American people want right now.” Additionally, he claims that the plan will prevent a double-dip recession.

As the president stated, the White House is sending the bill to Capitol Hill later in the day on Monday. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, Obama plans to visit Ohio and North Carolina to rally the public to pressure lawmakers to pass it.

That I would be back a week from Monday after you already signed over all the papers saying I owned the car to tell you how I was going to pay for it.
If I actually got in the car and drove off it would be called Grand Theft Auto (STEALING).. Just like Obama plans to do with this money. Steal it from the tax payers of America.. either that or use the Federal Reserve to print off some more Monopoly money, either way!

Why the rush when he spent 10 days at Martha’s Vineyard playing golf and eating ice cream and supposedly writing this scam of a jobs plan?
He also says that the only thing keeping this jobs bill from passing is politics. Really, who’s politics? Yours mister President? In other words he means anyone who disagrees with him is playing politics.
He also claims that if this scam is passed it will prevent a double dip recession, thus really setting up a ruse to be able to blame someone else when the economy crashes, which it will eventually anyway. We’ve been in a recession ever since this scammer took office, he’s just been working with Bernake and Timmy moving money around trying to keep the system from collapsing. That’s the only work this guy has been doing. He’s just digging up the bodies and moving them around every time someone gets closer too the truth.
One of these days soon the whole system is coming down like the balsa wood it has been built on and BHO, instead of really trying to fix it, is just trying to set things up so he doesn’t ultimately get blamed for it.

All these people have been waiting since I took office for a job. Now I’m ready to help. All these people have used most all of their savings, lost there homes and many are in shelters, but I’m just now getting around to helping them. Yea, yea, I know it has been a long time, and many of you are hungry and in dire need, but I had to play golf 80 or more times, and go on my many vacations first. That’s just the way it is with me. Now, many, many months later I have a jobs bill for you. Of course, there will only be a few jobs, and they will ‘cost’ about $200,000 for one job, so you can see why there will only be a few. Uh, Good luck, and I can see all the 18 million or more trying to scramble for these few jobs. Uh, Have to go now, my marxists, socialist friends are waiting for me to tee up”

Not from customers buying their product where said product can be returned if it is flawed or broken or not what the buyer thought. Not the case with government. We have no choice but to pay (taxes) and their product which is less than adequate. They in turn keep jacking up taxes (for all of us) when they say they are going to raise taxes on the “evil rich” they are lying through their teeth. Any taxes raised are raised on ALL of us (well except the poor and illegals) The rich that WANT to pay more want it in the law so the rest of us will have a reaaaaaaall hard time accruing the amounts of money THEY already have. If they want to pay more there is a line for that on our tax bills. Go for it. Hope that answers your question decendent of 56.
