Obama Encourages Egypt to ‘Refrain From Violence’

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says he’s spoken to Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and told him he has a responsibility to take concrete steps to deliver on promises of better democracy and greater economic opportunity.
Obama spoke in the White House State Dining Room shortly after Mubarak appeared on television for the first time since the populace unleashed frenzied protests aimed at ending his 30-year authoritarian rule. Mubarak backed his security forces, who’ve moved violently to put down the protests, and did not offer to step down.
Obama did not call on Mubarak to do so. Instead he emphasized the need for Mubarak to make reforms and said: “This moment of volatility has to be turned into a moment of promise.”

Report Post »Right! BHO has the ****** to tell the President of Egypt let his people have their “peaceful protest” and don’t cause harm. WHAT? The protestors are tearing apart the city! Which coverage is BHO watching? Listening to the remarks of Robert Gibbs; BHO; VP Biden and others, they appear to be trying their best to hide their glee in what is going on. Afterall, that is exactly what they hope for the USA!

Seems that OBAMA’S administration gave up 1.5 billion last year to Mubarack’s govt. And now Wikileaks has given up documents saying that the U.S. govt is behind this uprising in Egypt? It’s like a bad spy novel. Well, the truth will come out, and the American people, so sick and tired of politicians, will hold those responsible for their dishonesty, with extreme prejudice, if necessary. Where does OBAMA get off giving 1.5 billion to anyone when our economy is going in the toilet? Was this stimulus money? Where did this money come from for Egypt? My tax dollars? Did my tax dollars go to a dictator? Why am I really paying taxes? Should I continue to pay taxes? Why? Because I’ll go to jail? Don’t threaten me …

Posted on January 28, 2011 at 9:39pmThis all started about a week ago with a Egyptian Coptic (Christian) uprising, because they are sick of being murdered by Islamists. Egypt is about 10% Christian and before Islam it was nearly 100% Christian. There are Muslims standing with Christians—-and then there is the Muslim Brotherhood which seeks to exploit this situation. Unfortunately, the majority of Egyptians want a caliphate. Over 14 centuries, they have lost their roots.
The hope for Egypt and other “Islamic” countries is that they remember their true history.
This historic interview on Israel National Radio shines light on the Pre-Abrahamic history of the “Middle-East” and exposes Islam for the reconstituted blood-thirst cult of Baal worship under the guise of a pseudo-monotheistic “religion” that it is.

False. The trigger event was a college kid who comitted suicide because he couldn’t get a job, and when he tried to set up a fruit stand to make a living he was forced out of business due to onerous regulations, permits and fees. Religion had nothing to do with it.

This is why he will stand by and do nothing to stop and perhaps even facilitate the rise of another Islamic “Republic”…what a joke.
the original aim when this plot was hatched was done with a true Democracy in mind. That notion went by the wayside when Obama stepped in. Either he is uninformed enough, biased enough that he actually believes that a Democracy will rise from this conflagration or his belief that Islam is nothing but good will allow the creation of another sharia run hellhole where people are stoned to death and barbarism thrives.
He probably believes that the Muslim brotherhood, the group that created AQ are just Muslim brothers.”

This is an opportunity for a new and young generation to live the lives we Westerners simply take for granted. And they deserve nothing less.
This is about ordinary people wanting ordinary lives and we should support them in every way we can…Remember how Obama refused to “get involved” during the protests in Iran (summer of 2009)…I knew then that we were in deep sh*t…I sure wish that their internet had not been suspended…we were able to offer a lot of encouragement to the people in Iran…they also fed us the “true picture” in “real time” …I know that they were looking to US and wanted to be certain WE here in the U.S. knew the truth…I cannot tell you how hurt I was that our administration offered NOTHING…it was awful!
