Obama: Even Bill O’Reilly Agrees With My Debt Plan. O’Reilly: I Do?

President Barack Obama penned an op-ed in Friday’s USA Today to drum up support for his debt deal of a combination of cuts and revenue increases. In it, he cited that he had a perhaps unlikely supporter: Fox News host Bill O’Reilly:

A balanced deficit deal that includes some new revenues isn’t just a Democratic position. It‘s a position that has been taken by everyone from Warren Buffett to Bill O’Reilly.

O’Reilly responded to the supposed endorsement Friday morning on Fox’s “America’s Newsroom” (video above):

I don’t know what President Obama is referring to when he uses my name, but we’ve been pretty consistent in telling everyone that the tax code has to be reformed….It‘s not accurate in the sense that I’m advocating any tax rate hikes and he didn’t say that. They are parsing.

The O’Reilly claim this Friday comes after the president made another surprising claim last Friday. During a press conference last week, Obama said that 80 percent of Americans “are sold” on his debt deal, a statement The Blaze took a hard look at.

Last night Bill O’Reilly intimated that he is for the G6 plan. Obama is for the G6 plan, then O‘Reilly is in favor of Obama’s plan….hmmm sounds logical, LOL.

    It is Bill’s fault.

Bulls**t, Obama has no plan. The reason he and the democrats have no plan is because they did not expect what happened last November. Obama just thought that the democrats running the house and senate would rubber stamp an increase without any strings attached. That is why neither Obama or the democrats have not submitted a budget in 802 days. Keep in mind, Obama is a “Progressive” which = “Liar”.

Last night on Fox News, during Mr. O‘Reilly’s comments about the G6 plan, I could not believe my ears! I may have been under to wrong impression that Mr. O’Reilly was an alley of the American people and especially the Tea Party. It sounded to me like he got a “talking to” about his “tone” from the White House.
Shame on you Bill. You are turning into a PINHEAD!

I caught a clip of him from last night and it sure looked like he had gone to the other side(a very short walk for him).

      Dear IRS:

My favorite president’s right-hand man, Joe Biden, recently stated that paying taxes was a patriotic duty. As a card-carrying liberal/progressive/socialist/communist I don’t want to be thought of as unpatriotic. As a liberal, i do not believe in spending cuts unless it is to the constitutionally mandated military. Therefore, I am submitting my 2011 Federal tax return without having taken any deductions of any kind. This is not a typo or oversight. I want to do my patriotic duty, pay my fair share, and participate in the shared-sacrifice.

      Yours in Kind,

      Warren Buffett

After hearing O’Reilly last night debating Laura Ingraham it is clear he is in favor of tax hikes. He clearly does not understand what the TEA Party stands for and fails whenever he tries to explain the mindset of TEA Parters. I watch O’Reilly because he often has guests worth watching. But frankly, I fast forward through at least half of his show. Too many puff segments.

Yea! O’Reilly is wrong!! :-) He is wrong in thinking that the Left is going to be reasonable. He is wrong in thinking that Obama wants a compromise. He is too old to be that naïve. We are dealing with people who have one agenda and that is the destruction of our way of life. Anyone who does not understand this is nuts. The evidence is overwhelming.

To Billy I say, How are you going to keep Obama from spending all the new revenue? Answer, you can’t this guy–Obama– is a dangerous nut job. He is holding out hope that he can still pull out a victory here but when he realizes that isn’t happening then just watch him turn into a beast.

Ever since o’reilly interviewed obama he seems to be on his side. I think he is afraid to say anything against him hoping for the “big one” so they are using each other as pawns. I listened to him call the tea pary extremists and could not believe what i was hearing. Then he would not let laura inghram speak and tell him he was not right. I looked at my husband and was so disgusted i said no bill you are wrong and the tea party is right and you just lost a lot of viewers. I am just wondering if he is trying to protect his job because he is afraid to talk against the president or if he is just looking out for himself. I guess it is the latter. I adore laura but he just keeps interrupting her and cuts her off if she starts to say anything about the president. On the other hand he lets juan go on and on and then shuts up mary katherine hamm and talks over her. He will be loosing so many fans if he keeps it up. I do like dennis miller – and thought when he announced that they would be going on tour together that this is the only way he would be able to continue to tour because without beck not very many tickets would be sold! Bill is not a “closet liberal”, Rose-Ellen. He has always been up-front about his support of abortion, his support of high taxes and big government, and his opposition to capital punishment. That’s the big three to us right-wingers. You just think he’s a right-winger because he’s not afraid to speak the truth about your side, too. A true Liberal would never tell the truth about the left, in your mind. You can’t say, “raise taxes”, you have to say “increase revenues”. You can’t say “abortion” you have to say, “choice”. You can’t say “coddling criminals” you have to say “anti-police state”.

Yes, but it was Bill who served as a law clerk for Judge Winter, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York and then clerked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas… Dang, that was Laura again. Bill worked as a general assignment worker on Good Morning America.

bill did say he was open to a 1% national sale taxes which makes me want to scream, because do we really, honestly believe that it would stay at 1%, they would have that rate increased to 2 then 4 then 10% eventually. We do not need to let them invent a new form of taxation on us. also im sick of hearing these crooked politicians complain about these “loopholes” in the tax code….who wrote the tax code? they did, but now they want to act like they are innocent, they are all the same D or R, they are all crooked and all they care about is take care of themselves, this is nothing but a shell game, they both have one agenda. Also, Oreilly said we should increase the debt ceiling one more time….sure one more time until they reach it again in a year and will scream “we have to raise the debt ceiling again, we are running out of time, it is urgent!!” why do we have a ceiling in the first place? it is there for a reason, if we jsut raise it every time we reach it then just do away with it or make it be…say maybe a gazillion dollars…or wait maybe make it infinity dollars…..WAKE UP AMERICA we are being destroyed from the inside DC is not the answer….DC is our problem….DC and the politicians ARE our economic problem ….they do not serves us, they serve themselves

Yeah and the Income Tax act of 1913 was to only apply to the top 5% of Wealthy Millionaires, Wall Street Bankers etc etc. Sound familiar? After 100 years of progressive taxation it now is proven that that lie was even protested in 1913 by the Conservatives of the Day.

Bill is just a RHINO as most in his line of work are. If it makes his pay-check bigger then that is what he will do. And God will hold him to account for his actions in this life, just like I will be held accountable. But Bill’s idea of a 1% sales tax for entitlements is not new. T.E.A. party members are all into what they call the FAIR TAX plan which would remove the personal income tax and replace it with a National Sales Tax, but what Bill propogates is what those opposed to the FAIR TAX want. They want to keep the income tax albeit with lower rates and include a sales tax. I live in WA state and we have a State Sales Tax and Property Taxes.

The biggest problem is that what happens is that all they do is change the descriptions of the same revenue streams and they fail to fix the real problem.

Well, it’s that, and especially after Beck’s TV departure, he’s basically the indisputable king of cable news punditry out there. Whether you like him or not, if you can finagle his name on an endorsement of your policy, it’ll do well in your favor.

It’s showing, too, that they have to use O‘Reilly’s name to try to garner support for it. Would be that a plan would have respect because it was the president’s. Shows how much Mr. Obama has done to lessen the respect for the office.
