Obama Flubs Name of Town Hall Hosts — Calls Them ‘Waffles’ Family

Yesterday, it was Michele Bachmann who made a mistake on the campaign trail. Today it was Barack Obama. During a town hall meeting in Illinois, Obama thanked the “Waffles” family for hosting his visit. There’s just one problem: the name of the family company hosting Obama is Wyffels Hybrids Inc. The crowd quickly corrected Obama and he called himself “stupid” before blaming the mistake on not yet having lunch:

No one’s perfect, and I’ll be one of the people who will admit that all the Republicans that are currently in the running have their flaws; but this man has made so many gaffes, mistakes, and horrible prejudgements that I can’t see how he could fool anyone into believing that he has anything resembling leadership. I guess that shows just what kind of voters we’re dealing with here: idiots.

Come ON… it really ain’t that hard! Either you know how to pronounce someone’s name , or you ASK them. And that’s basic manners even if you are not the President of the US –and you are NOT on camera.
