Obama Gives Himself a Shout Out While Addressing Troops: ‘We’ve Got Me In the House’

You know that old bait-and-switch technique your older sibling pulled on you when you were a kid? The one where he asked you a bunch of questions that evoked a “yes” response, and then slyly sneaked in a question that should exhibit a “no” but you’re so used to answering “yes” that you accidentally mix it up. That’s kind of what Barack Obama did yesterday — to our troops.

While addressing soldiers at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, the president started giving shout outs to different military units “in the house,” each time eliciting cheers from the crowd. But after calling out a couple of those names, he quickly turned to evoking his own: “And we’ve got me in the house.”

They cheered.

And certainly after all these years of fighting where the troops have done such heroic work and did such an outstanding job, I think it’s important for the president to be there and signing the agreement with President Karzai.”

      This Elitest, Socialist, Islamist, Anti-American, Anti-Constitutionalist wants us to believe that we should all bow down to HIM just because “We have ME in the house”? I bet 80% of the captive audience would have gotten up and walked out if they weren’t afraid of the military punishment they would have received. Everybody in that captive audience KNOWS that Obama wants to SPAY AND NUTER the military of the USA and make our elite armed services more like those of the world’s banana republics.

      To all who proudly serve AMERICA, in every branch of the military, if you are going to be away for the Nov. 20th election, don’t forget to get your absentee ballots and vote to end this nutralization of our military might.
      To the rest of us, retired military or just plain ordinary citizens, we know what is happening. We see the degradation of our country and we WILL halt the decline, by BALLOT not bullets.

      Even those on welfare or any form of public assistance, if Obama is allowed to continue to bankrupt America, when the money runs out for food stamps, rent subsidies, Medicaid, Medicare and child care, YOU the welfare receiptients will go hungry. THINK ABOUT IT!!! YOU WILL SUFFER THE MOST!!!

      Never in my 25 years of military service, I have never seen a commander in chief act this way.

      I do not understand the left wing media who bows down to his “gutsy move” in getting OBL. What gutsy act did Obama make? The team of CIA and Spec Ops that hunted him were put in place long before Obama showed up. It was this team that ran him out of Afghanistan, and put him on the run. It was this team that finally pin pointed him, and it took a whole lot of begging, pleading, and arm bending to just get Obama to allow them to do the raid.

      How lond did it take law enforcement at every level to capture Eric Rudolph? Rudolph was hiding inside the US. He did not have millions and the middle east to help him out. It took our boys a while to get him, but it was CIA and SPeck ops that did it, not Obama.

      I never heard the left wing media praise Bush when Sadam Hussein was captured. They did not praise the firts Bush when Noriaga was nabbed.

      Tell me this. What would have happend during the Bush years, if spec ops would have nabbed a bad guy, shot him with no chance of capture, even if he surrendered. Take him out on a boat, tie a rock to him, and sink him. Do you think the left wing media would have made a hero of Bush?
      The media is such a joke any more.

      Obama knows that it won’t make any difference if he ticks them off! I read somewhere that servicemen won’t be able to vote if they are not at home. It costs to much money to expedite their votes, and it holds up the voteing talley while someone has to get to their voteing districts and usually wont change the outcome unless it’s a super close race.

      You have read the Constitution right…the President can sign all the crap he wants with any foreign leader, even a drug dealing tribal gangster…but it has ZERO weight. The Congress has the power to ratify any agreement with a foreign nation.
      Any agreement with another nation is technically a “treaty” agreement. The President can request them and even negotiate them, but the Senate must ratify them. So basically the only thing that Obama did was “sneak” away, even though most media outlets were reported him in Afghanistan but the WH was denying it, for a photo op with Karazai and self promotion for his election (illegal by campaign rules -mixing government business with campaign business) to the troops (which aren’t going to vote for him anyway.)
      This was just another campaign stop and speech for the President to a manufactured crowd.

      The most corrupt administration in history and most detrimental to the Constitution and the United States, even more than Carter ( whom by the way said he would have no problem if Romney won, so even Carter knows Obama is pathetic as a President).

      God save the Republic!

    The Military can‘t criticize their Commander in Chief so he was certain he wouldn’t get what he deserved a boooooooooooooooo! Sorry but I just don’t see the man doing anything other than for political purposes. It’s all about “Him” politically motivated and for his best interest and not for the best interest of the country. I see this trip at this time and on the occasion of the 1 yr anniversary of the death of bin Laden part of his political campaign. He is the quintessential politician he’ll do and say what ever it takes to stay in power. And if he is re-elected there will be “NOTHING” stopping him, “bye, bye, Miss American pie….”

      I too agree the office demands the respect but the holder deserves none. Tough spot for our troopers to be in. There have been great men to hold the office, there have been lesser men to hold the office but the fact that we have the “office” dictates we all respect the “office”.

      How could any honest God fearing man/American look himself in the mirror with the knowledge of what he really is. I have a son in the ARMY. I asked him how he could join knowing who the commander in chief was, his answer is he is there to serve his county and fellow soldiers. He may be man than me……………..

      Thanks, yes we are very proud of our son. He has always wanted to serve his country. One of the things he said that really showed me his true nature was when he was deciding what he wanted to sign up for (scored high so lots options) he said after thinking for several days. Dad while I know I may have to take a life I would rather try to save a life that take a life so I will chose “combat medic”. I can say I was very honored to have him say something like that. He has many friends in service. He lost a very close friend in the Marines who was KIA in Oct. I say that to say there are still lots of young men and women who even with the current state of things still wanting to serve their country.

      As for me as a father I just wish we had someone in office who I knew was a man of honor and truth so “God forbid” something ever happened to my son at least he was serving an upstanding leader.

      Correct, BO and Billy always take weapons away. In one case in the 90’s the SS had a unit remove all the bolts and zip tied the flash suppressers for a pass and review.

      Teabunny, it’s true that Israel does not want to share yet another border with the Muslim Brotherhood (like the border with newly-radical-Islamist Egypt)–which is what will take over Syria if/when the Assad regime is brought down. But–that doesn‘t mean that Israel is ’for’ Assad, either (or his puppetmasters in Iran, or their genocidal thugs Hezbollah). Fact is, there ARE no good guys in the fighting in Syria. There may be victims and oppressors at this moment–but these roles will certainly reverse if today‘s ’victims‘ become tomorrow’s winners.
