‘Obama: I‘m Ready to Announce That I am a Muslim’: Saudi News Outlets Duped by Fake Story

Two Saudi news agency were duped by a recent satirical Huffington Post story reporting that President Obama admitted he is a Muslim and agreed that his birthplace is “negotiable.”

Last week, Andy Borowitz cross-posted a piece on his website and the Huffington Post meant to mock Obama for caving to Republican wishes regarding a tax rate compromise. In order to make his point, Borowitz penned a fake story saying that the president was also willing to admit he is a Muslim and negotiate his place of birth.

“In his latest effort to find common ground with Republicans in Congress, President Barack Obama said today that he was willing to agree that he is a Muslim,” Borowitz writes. He then goes on to include a faux quote from the president and joke that incoming Speaker John Boehner is a “birther”:

“The American people do not want to see us fighting in Washington,” Mr. Obama told reporters at the White House.  “They want to see us working together to improve their lives, and Allah willing, we will.”

But Mr. Obama’s willingness to back down on his claim of being a Christian does not seem to have satisfied his Republican opposition, as GOP leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) today insisted that the President must also agree that he was born in Kenya.

While Mr. Obama did not immediately agree to Rep. Bohener’s [sic] demand, he hinted that yet another compromise might be in the offing: “My place of birth has been, and will always be, negotiable.”

White House sources indicated today that the President might be willing to meet the GOP halfway on his birthplace and say that he was born in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

But despite the ridiculous claims, Saudi news outlets Al-Hayat and Sabq.org reported the “admission” as fact. The AFP reports:

Both Al-Hayat, one of the Middle East’s most influential newspapers, and Sabq, believed to be controlled by the Saudi interior ministry, apparently missed the joke.

“Obama doesn’t mind coming out as a Muslim if that will satisfy the Republicans,” the Al-Hayat headline said.

“Obama: ‘I’m ready to announce that I am a Muslim,’” led Sabq.

Both repeated Borowitz’s “quote” of Obama saying: “My place of birth has been, and will always be, negotiable.”

Borowitz also satirized Bill Clinton’s recent joint solo press conference at the White House in a piece called, “Clinton Refused to Leave White House.”

As usual it’s the lefts continuing ruse to create any kind of defense that obama is American in some manner. Without it there is no argument.
They constantly raise the spectre, whether as an accusatory divisive tactic or as in this case self-accusatory.. In any case it derails the obvious anti-Americanism of Low\bama argument

The Republican Party actually doesn’t field candidates in India, nor does it have registered voters there. Thus, it is difficult to imagine Gandhi ever having any affiliation with the Republican Party. And given his antagonism with Churchill and a succession of conservative British governments (hell, his entire rejection of the premise of hierarchies of power and his rebellion against the status quo of injustice he saw), you can hardly call him a conservative. I’ll give you that he was a libertarian, but then, so are a lot of people who think the Republican Party is bust and doesn’t stand for libertarian principles. And there right–no one who’s a powerful actor in the status quo, Democrat or Republican, is going to advocate a system which diminishes their power, sad as that may be. A de-centralization of power would be nice, but it’s probably not going to happen democratically, because just having a democracy has not saved societies in the past from their own ignorance, or from happenstance, and it doesn’t always ensure that the best ideas rise to the top, or that it is constantly improving its own structure to better suit its democratic goals and maximize the power of its citizens–that requires enough people who know where this goal is and how to get there, which presumes that good ideas are self-evident, when history seems to actually show the opposite–good ideas, especially those that challenge preexisting elites and power holders who can use their power to delay and obfuscate ideas, often take a long time, or are never, accepted by a plurality of society.

Wow, the Left immediately eats its own if they don‘t get every foot stomping little demand don’t they? It’s an extension of a tax cut, nothing changes from our perspective, but they cannot abide by ANYTHING that doesn’t go their way. You expect the opposition to do this, but the Left is blessed with the uncanny ability to line up its own icons and destroy them for the smallest of things.

    Totalitarians, they are.

No, it’s obsession. That’s the entire point. If one of their own gives in on anything when they (the rank and file) think they have power, they go insane. It’s not self policing, it’s a stubborn refusal to engage in governing in an adult fashion.

It‘s one thing to criticize one’s own political party, and that’s fair game and honorable and healthy. It’s quite another to start throwing out F bombs with impunity or railing to the heavens about how bad their “leader” is in order to besmirch his character (and ultimately, his career). As I say, you’d expect that from the opposition, not from the rank and file. HuffPo is engaging in snide little character assassination because Ariana didn’t get her way. That’s all this is.

Actually, I suspect it would. Fraudulently signing documents with authority one does not have, invalidates the document until all parties are legally entitled to sign the document.

Legally, I suspect that they’d just have Biden re-sign, so ultimately it wouldn’t change anything. However, a person who cannot legally hold office and is cast out of office cannot be the font of authority for legal documents.

Put your arrogance to the test.

Enter into a contract with a landlord for an apartment. Move into the apartment. The cops show up two days later and take the landlord out in chains, as apparently he wasn’t the landlord and was posing as the landlord in order to collect your rent, while the landlord was visiting relatives in Florida.

Your contract would be invalid in that case. That’s why the legal term “fraud” exists, and why legal arrangements entered into with a fraudulent party are dismissed as null and void when the fraud is discovered.

There was a point in my life when I thought the world might be better off without religion – mainly because of what Muslims have done in a “modern” world. But, then I noticed how progressives and liberals live their lives in a constant stupor and realized a man’s truly got to believe in something bigger than himself.

To me apart of humility is the ability to admit you can be wrong, and the ability to admit you made mistakes, or in fact to admit you WERE wrong and thusly correct said mistake.

Glenn Beck never admits to his mistakes in a humble fashion, never corrects his mistakes or mis-truths, and instead glosses them over with bravado. Remember the FEMA death camps? He was wrong about them, dead wrong. Did he set himself for atonement for his grave sins? Nope, he just quickly dusted the issue under the nearest metaphorical rug. Remember when he agreed to now disbarred lawyer Jack Thompson view’s on video games back when Glenn Beck was a nobody on CNN? The very views that are counter-intuitive to freedom of speech?

In fact by this point, seeing as how I have watched Keith Olbermann’s Show for years now, and believe me, I do not agree with Olbermann on everything especially when it comes to his philosophy or his personal opinions. But when Keith Olbermann is factually incorrect he ALWAYS corrects such in a later episode or the same episode via live update.

However Glenn Beck doesn’t seem to understand something very important, YOU are entitled to your own opinion, BUT you are NOT entitled to your own Facts.

One can, with some level of interest, investigate the words/deeds of those Beck points out and then branch out from there. That’s kind of the point, a starting area for others to advance further. I don’t believe in aping or idolizing a person, so Beck is not some kind of “gawd” to me, but I see the value in what he’s done thus far in his ongoing evolution into libertarian ideology.

With the Internet time has been compressed into seconds, minutes – none of that “Pony Express” mode to serve the news for the day to a worldwide readership. Therefore, the techniques of how countries can manipulate “misinformation” and “counter-measures” are being enhanced and refined. It would be no surprise if we were to read on Drudge someday soon that Russia has taken over the international space station… and that China has just taken over the island of Taiwan, or that NKorea has invaded SKorea – only to find out that these were only games being played in the UN war-rooms.

Not to mention his blaming of Israel in the case of the ‘peace talks’ that never go anywhere. Mr Obama fails to understand, Israel ultimately will deal with matters in the way best for HER own interests and safety FIRST, not always the way OBAMA wants them to be.

WHO ARE THE ARABS AND WHAT IS ISLAM?

LINEAGE OF ARABS (Descendants of Ham) – Archeological Research garnered from tablet fragments: Hittite, Akkadian and Sumerian:

1.3000 BCE descendants of Canaan, grandson of Noah via Ham break out of their proscribed region – southern Turkey – immediately north of the Euphrates River – True “Syria”. Some move southward into the Levant. Most rename themselves As-Syrians. They garner iron from the Hittites and invade and destroy Haran, Assur (neighboring cities ) and attack Nineveh.

2.300-600 years later they have burnt Niniveh to the ground and made Babylon their capitol (Babylon founded by Nimrod I, firstborn of Ham).

3.Later the Akkadian King, Sargon of Niniveh heritage, recaptures northern Mesopotamia and conquers Babylon, making it his capitol as Niniveh was still in ruins.

4.From several recorded Sumerian records from Ubaid, Ur and Uruk tell of the children of Nimrod/children of the Assyrians evacuate Babylon and move into the North-Central grass plains of the Arabian Peninsula. THEY ARE THE FIRST ARABS(ARABIANS).

5.From previous historical records, it is known that the peoples living south of the Euphrates River, down the Euphrates River. East through the Indus region and Persia and the peoples of seacoast of the Arabian Peninsula and Ethiopia are descendants are the first born of Noah (Shem), and they do not intermarry with the descendants of Ham.

6.Midianites, at their root, are Sumerian sheepherders who later combined with offspring of the House of Abraham (a Sumerian), combined with or intermarried to peoples from the Kingdom of Sheba (Yemen) and Ethiopia.

7.MOST IMPORTANT CLUE: Every culture had a signature animal symbol. Throughout Mesopotamia and the regions of the second born of Noah (Japeth) – The Caucasus, Turkey, Black Sea (also East and West), it was the bull. You find artifact Bulls in silver, copper, bronze and other materials. The Hamites created a half-man/half-bull symbol which they called Baal. Time of origination dates to circa 3000 BCE in Lebanon at what is now the place known as Baalbek (megalithic platform structure). As for the Arabs from the grassy central plain of Arabia, over time they migrated and founded Medina. They would have been Baal worshippers. Medina was founded near Mecca which was a thriving trade center for agriculture, minerals, frankensense everything coming up from Yemen.

      EMERGENCE OF ISLAM
Mohammed’s wife (Khadija) inherited the camel train cartage business when her husband died, but could not keep it unless she had a husband for legal ownership purposes. (LIKE IN KORAN) She found an idiot teenager who could not read or write, and that was Mohammed. When she died, the other relatives gave Mohammed money and they took over the business. Mohammed travels with them. Near Ebla, Syria (Modern Syria), the rich idiot Mohammed teams up with Syrian mercenaries. The cult of domination – Submit or Die – Slavery of Women, begins there. They call him their prophet and use him. Between Midian and Syria, along the road east of the Dead Sea/Jordan Valley, that’s where Mohammed has epiphany in a cave. Later they settle in Medina/Mecca.

SOURCES ON MOHAMMED: University of Chicago, Oriental Institute, Oxford in Britain (Syrian, Egyptian, Coptic, Middle Eastern, Yemeni, Ethiopian articles – English Translations)

TO STUDY THE ANCIENT CULT-RELIGION OF BAAL EXPLAINS the divergence of Islam from Judaism and the adoption of dominating, killing, lying cheating and other anti-civilization aspects. Throughout the entire ancient world, the bull which was the machine-tractor of the ancient world was depicted and revered but only worshipped by Hamites (Assyrian, Canaanites, Southern Egyptians) Baal is recorded as the God of War/Violence/Storms/Domination. These are the root aspects that were worshipped in Medina, and when Medina conquered Mecca (which worshipped the God of Israel, as all Shemites/Midianites would), they supplanted those things into the new religion – Islam.

Islam recognizes Christ’s birth and ascention, but in an insidious way. Muslims believe that Jesus, Moses, Abraham and Noah were proto-muslims, and at every turn Islam curses the Jews for abandoning these “prophets”. That is Islam’s EXCUSE and perversion for substituting Mohammed as the last prophet whom all down to.

Islam teaches that Allah put a substitute Jesus on the cross, when it was actually an impostor who was crucified. “They slew Him not nor crucified, but it appeared so unto them” Koran (4:157)

You’re right about Constantine. Why did he deify Jesus by making him God and breaking the First Commandment?

Power and control. The whole Roman empire began to “follow the prophet – Yeshua” — they followed his ways, which was merely re-implementing Mesopotamian law which at its core were the 7 Noahide Laws. Plus they obeyed (some?) of the Jewish Cleanliness laws because people live longer and healthier.

So Constantine screwed the Jews by making Jesus God thus creating enmity between Jews and Christians. He also declared himself a saint.

I have walked into Catholic churches, and when I look at statues of Jesus it all seems so …strange. Drink his blood (wine) eat his body (sacrament) — it all seems so Pagan.

Further, The first Crusade was called because Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land were harrased and murdered by muslims and prevented from reaching the holy places. Read Bernard Lewis: “The Crusade, was a delayed response to the jihad, the holy war for Islam, and its purpose was to recover by war what had been lost by war — to free the holy places of Christendom and open them once again, without impediment, to Christian pilgrimage.”

I was not constantine, Islam originated in Arabia in the seventh century. In fact the lands “Egypt, Libya, and all of North Africa were Christian, and had been so for hundreds of years. So were Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Asia Minor. But then muhammad and his muslim armies arose out of the desert, and — as most modern textbooks would put it — these lands became muslim. But in fact the transition was cataclysmic. muslims won these lands by conquest and, in obedience to the words of the koran and the prophet, put to the sword the infidels therein who refused to submit to the new islamic regime.”

In May 1453, Constantinople was sacked, the muslim soldiers killed everyone, men women and children. Those who escaped were ransomed or sold as slaves. Yet all you will hear about is how
Jerusalem, was sacked in the first Crusade.

The Crusades were a RESPONSE to jihad, not the other way around, that the progressive teaches.
Just as true today, the war on terrorism is a response to this modern jihad stuck in the 11th century.

Your mention of the crusades is simply another opportunity to twist history into a lame attack on anything Christian.

      Butcher,
I do indeed renounce any violence in the Bible, Koran, or anywhere else unless it is done in SELF DEFENSE. Self defense is an essential part of existence. The Koran specifically teaches to engage in violent offensive actions as a means to spread Islam. Christianity started with Jesus. Nowhere does the New Testament (after Jesus) teach violence in any way except self defense. Your understanding of historical context is obviously warped by progressive lies. The Old Testament was a Jewish document and Jesus was a Jew with a full Jewish heritage. Jesus loved Jews because they were his family. The Old Testament shows how people of ancient times lived. Life was brutal and short for most people in ancient times. I would hope that any normal person who reads the Old Testament would gain from the knowledge of the Bible stories and not degenerate from them.

On the other hand, Progressives are directly responsible for the killing of upwards of 100,000 million people in the last 100 years. For some reason they always defend the Muslims who are on track to out-kill progressives. Progressives are directly responsible for more death and destruction than at any time in history.

It is always a cute move to blame everything on Christians and Jews. This is the kind of argument an undisciplined teenager uses against his father when he is young and rebellious; it does not follow logic and makes no sense. Where would you be if there never was a Jesus Christ? Maybe you would be a member of some Indian or Inca tribe? Or a member of an African or Celtic tribe? Go figure.
