‘Obama Is Talking About the Dehumanization of Our Culture’: Limbaugh Refutes State Worker in Fiery Monologue

During a Thursday broadcast of the Rush Limbaugh program, a former Pennsylvania state employee called in to make the case for the necessity of public sector jobs.
“I think the president might have somewhat of a point,” the caller said in reference to President Obama’s claim that public jobs help private businesses grow.
“I worked for the state of Pennsylvania taking care of intellectual disabled individuals for 26 years. One of the guys that I took care of, his mom and dad ran a family restaurant. A very successful restaurant,” the caller explained.
“And, you know, they told me many times that if it wasn’t for the state and for people like me that helped take care of their son, they wouldn’t be able to work 14-16 hours a day in a restaurant
business. And, you know, I don‘t think it’s right to minimize public employees and the vital services that we provide,” he added.
Limbaugh felt it necessary to correct the caller in no uncertain terms.
“Nobody’s minimizing what you do. What we‘re not gonna do is give you credit for what you didn’t do. Now, you can sit out there and say all you want that you helped these two restaurant owners focus on their business by taking care of whatever,” the conservative host said.
“You got paid for it. That wasn’t sweat labor. You got paid for it. You chose to do what you did. Nobody made you do it, unless your parents thought you weren’t going anywhere and made you do something and you had to take it,” he added.
Seems like a reasonable response, right?
Well, apparently, a few of Limbaugh’s listeners thought he was too “mean” to the public sector worker. So, after a commercial break, Limbaugh took a moment to explain that he wasn’t trying to put the guy down, he was just being “passionate.”
“Now, this guy, all I did was spell out exactly what happened. This guy worked for the state. He babysat intellectually disabled people. He was paid for it, I presume. Why else was he there? I think what happened was that the restaurant owners were simply appreciative,” Limbaugh said.
He continued:
They were thanking him. They were just expressing gratitude, which is fine and dandy. But that’s as far as it goes. Who paid his salary? His salary is paid for by taxes, including the taxes of the people that owned the restaurant, unless for some reason the restaurant owners were excused from paying taxes. So they helped pay his salary with their taxes from the restaurant. But the point is, nobody made him do what he was doing. He chose to go into that business. He did not run the restaurant.
He didn’t invest in the restaurant. He didn’t take a risk in the restaurant. He didn’t have anything to do with the restaurant!
What Obama is doing is coming along and telling people like him is, “See those restaurants owners over there? They couldn’t have done it without you, and what did you get out of it? Well, you sat around with their intellectually disabled kid while they were out there making millions! While they’re out there using the roads and bridges and everything!
[…]
The point is that Obama is out there trying to make these guys think that they are responsible for a successful restaurant! Now, nobody can deny we’re all in this together. And nobody — at least I’m not — is trying to say anything different than that. But you also don‘t start assigning credit where it’s not deserved.
[…]
Where does this stuff stop? If you want to start crediting people for things they didn’t do, where does it stop? You have to realize what the objective here is. Obama is not trying to make people feel appreciated. Obama is not trying to say that you deserve more what you have. He wants you to conclude that, but what Obama is pushing for is the notion that there is no individual anywhere.
There’s no self-made success. There’s no mention of individual success.
Basically, nobody is anything other than a number, and that government makes it all possible.
Folks, this is tyranny! The dehumanization of a society is tyranny.
What Obama is talking about is the dehumanization of our culture, particularly in the business world. That’s why this matters. That’s why this is important. We can dissect this policy-wise, we can dissect this ideologically, but I’d just as soon look at it in real-world terms.
This is about denying that people have anything unique about themselves. We’re all in it together. Nobody’s any different, any better, any worse than anybody else. Government’s the great equalizer.
“Government’s the great benevolent,” he added.

“Nathan Duszynski, 13, was selling franks in downtown Holland, MI.

Posted on July 27, 2012 at 6:40pmIt sounds like Rush is basically saying the same thing Glenn said. Obama and the Liberals and Progressives are attacking merit. They attack merit, Christianity, The Constitution, traditional values, the family, morality, freedom, the free market system… and they obsessively promote dehumanization, racism, social stratification and class warfare, property rights, freedom of speech, amorality and immorality, Socialism and Communism. They’re simply anti-American and they’re indoctrinating the children to have the same anti-American ideology. They are self-destructive and egocentric useful idiots.

Posted on July 27, 2012 at 9:56amWhy is the state paying for baby sitting for working parents anyway? A motivated person would have started the business with or without ‘gubment’ help. Sure, aid was available from the state so, they took it. My guess is, since they seem to have been motivated people, they would have found a way to make it work without the state.

Posted on July 27, 2012 at 11:30amWhere do you get such a large percentage? Do you consider those who have not gone to college? As for the taking care of the disabled son, most companies that take care of disabled adults are government connected. When someone is past a certain age, but is not mentally able to take care of themselves the parents are in a bind to find someone to help out so they aren’t living on the government and SSI.

President Barack Hussein Obama’s critics say he has reduced the country to a virtual economic basket case and that he and his re-election team are in process of reducing the presidency of the United States to the level of a carnival side-show with phony come-ons replete with hawking t-shirts and mugs and games of chance.
Well, they may be doing all that but it’s in a good cause–saving the nation from an evil Republican!
I know this because I’m the very proud recipient of personalized emails from various members of the Obama-Biden campaign committee and even some from Barack and Michelle and the vice president! At first, they arrived once or so a week but lately they’ve been filling up my in-box at an amazing rate, clear evidence that my buddies are working really hard.
A cynic might think the email flurry is only designed to raise $$$ for the cash-starved Obama-Biden campaign but I know better. Mostly, they’re intended to demonstrate a friendly effort to keep in touch with their supporters.
What follows are slightly-edited emails I’ve received in the last week, edited because some were very wordy despite how busy, busy, busy Obama and his team are down in D.C. and across the fruited plain. ,
The latest came from the president just today and the poor guy is sounding desperate. He mustn’t have much time to write because he was pretty brief. He asks for $3, of course, to enter his birth

Every time you feel that he was taken out of transcript, stop and read the whole speech and see if you can convince yourself yet once again that he was taken out of context. What he did was step off the teleprompter text, and screwed up by revealing how he really feels and thinks. He stutteringly got back to his text and tried a little to back away from what he said, but unsuccessfully. The really funny thing is that the press has had the past two weeks to reword what he said, and try to make it into something else that he “really” meant to say. 0bama’s recent ad is where he says something entirely different from the press. It’s “to the victor goes the spoils”. There is nothing wrong with that and it is a fact of life whether you like it or not. Americans like to cheer for the underdog to become victor. What free people DO NOT DO, is have government decide who is the victor, or slant the field so that a favoured voting bloc can become the victor! That is called facism\socialism\communism (pick one).

THAT is as it should be. Texans get a whole lot more out of the state monies that way, and people are gainfully employed.

My Dad was diagnosed with dementia and as he deterioted, he started making more and more visits to the hospital until he couldn’t live at home anymore. What did Medicare do (after he paid in for 43 years)? The found a dodge to “disallow” coverage. What did we, the family do? We picked up the slack ourselves. Between his savings and us, we pay for his health care OURSELVES as it SHOULD be for any family that can. And I don’t mean after they buy new cars, 80″ flat screen TVs, the newest SmartPhone and the $1000 Nike shoes. Family comes FIRST.
So, I go one step further than Rush did and say that the FAMILY is at fault for not using some of that successful restuarant income to pay for their own family issues. This pushing it all off on the govt is exactly what bankrupts the country.

Report Post »http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikola_Tesla (nevermind the ‘personalities’ i.e. sites — follow up the MESSAGES.
Nikola Telsa died penniless in a rented NY ‘apt’ — Sam Austin (’father of Texas) died ‘penniless, in a rented room) — Thomas Jefferson — died up to his ice in the DEBT he so abhorred… these people ‘changed history’ for GOOD — not for ‘profit.‘ That’s the problem. everyone wants the ‘credit’ and bozo button or to EXPLOIT for PROFIT off the backs of the MINDS that ‘created’ the springboard. These people and others pursued their own ‘happiness’ — i.e. American Dream — in THOSE times, they didn’t have a Corporation (in this case, corp usa) regulating how many times they could breath etc…. solution? ACT like you’re not part of that system (because you are NOT part of their contract….see the gold fringe on that flag? Learn the law of the flag and its SOURCE) — Hale v Henkel 201 U.S. 43 @ 89 {1906} SCOTUS allows you to contract any damn way you see fit — so long as you are NOT trespassing upon the rights or property of the State — and THAT knife cuts BOTH ways. That’s the KEY :-) Due Diligence (education) and your rights are non-delegable. — you HAVE to act like the ‘free’ person you are.
