Obama: Jobs Bill Could Prevent Another Recession

President Barack Obama said his jobs bill could prevent another recession in the U.S., saying there will be “fewer jobs and weaker growth” if it is not passed.
“The challenges facing financial markets around the world could have very real effects on our own economy at a time when it’s already fragile,” Obama said during his weekly address Saturday. “But this jobs bill can help guard against another downturn here in America.”
“But if we don’t act, the opposite will be true – there will be fewer jobs and weaker growth,” he continued.
The Obama administration has said repeatedly it doesn’t think a “double-dip” recession is likely, though White House economic adviser Gene Sperling made similar remarks Friday, saying that without passage of the jobs bill the U.S. risks another downturn.
The president has been heavily promoting the near-$450 billion proposal since presenting it last month. The Senate is expected to vote on it Tuesday, and Obama implored constituents to make their voices heard in Washington, repeating his call to “pass this bill.”
“I need you to remind these folks who they work for,” Obama said. “And I need you to tell your senators to do the right thing by passing this jobs bill right away.”
Obama’s address came one day after the release September’s jobs report, in which the unemployment rate held at 9.1 percent for the third straight month.

Unemployment for instance is “9.1%” that is a lie, UE is over 20%. “No” you say, b/c there arent food lines and long UE lines? Thats b/c of the unsustainable programs put in place to take those lines places! We now have EBT cards that replace the food lines and UE insurance extended to 99 weeks that replaces UE lines and countless other social programs. Home prices/values are at depression era low, this was just in the news yesterday!

On page 133 of President Obama’s “The American Job Act”, Sec.376. states;
“Abrogation of State Immunity- A State shall not be immune under the 11th Amendment to the
Constitution from a suit brought in a Federal court of competent jurisdiction for a violation of this Act.
A State’s receipt or use of Federal financial assistance for any program or activity of a State shall constitute a waiver of sovereign immunity, under the 11th Amendment to the Constitution or otherwise, to a suit brought by an employee or applicant of that program or activity under this Act for a remedy authorized under Section 375(c) of this Act.”
What this means is that anyone and everyone on welfare or “any other program” that is using Federal $$ can sue the State. Imagine all of these people, in all 50 States, all filing lawsuits at the same time. It would shut down our courts. This also sets a prescedent that the Constitution and it’s Ammendments can be overturned by the President.
One more thing… this Bill (that is not a Bill yet) raises revenues. Article, I. Section. 7. Clause 1. states, “All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.” So what gives the President the authority to summit Bills to Congress for raising revenues? What gives Harry Reid the power to put the Presidents Bill on the floor of the Senate without it going through the House first?

He said that their is a provision giving complete control of Broadband internet to the government if the government so chooses. Also quite a few provisions to hurt smaller oil producers, could put them out of business.
