Obama Jokes About His Nobel Prize: At Least the Energy Sec. Deserved His

Um, did this really just happen?
During his speech on energy today, the president decided to praise his Energy Secretary Steven Chu. But in the process, he also took a shot…at himself.
While explaining that he has instructed Chu to collaborate with others on designing safety procedures, Obama said, “Chu’s the right guy to do this, he’s got a Nobel prize in physics — he actually deserved his Nobel prize.” Say what?
Joking or not, the president just joined the chorus of detractors saying he should have never been awarded the prize — an argument that’s been revitalized since his decision to lead military action in Libya.
Campaign season should be fun.

Don’t expect this guy (after one term) to retire to a peanut farm and build houses. Don‘t expect all the communists and the gains they’ve made under him to go back under their rocks so easily.

I mean, Ale Gore, Carter and Obama!! Please!! Bush deserved this prize, he has literally saved millions of lives in Africa with his malaria and aids campaigns, not to mention getting the world involved in fighting terrorism. The others mentioned are charletons!

He got Begin and Sadat face-to-face, brokering a deal that brought peace between Israel and Egypt that has lasted thirty-two years. Mubarek kept to Sadat’s word, and Syria more or less honored the agreement without having been a party to negotiations. Before Carter, no one had been able to bring such a long term result.
I’m no fan of Carter and never was. Still, he’s more deserving of the Nobel than Obow. Obow reminds me of a guy who gets change for a $20 bill when he gave the cashier only $10, and dashes from the store. If Obow had declined the prize, he’d have at least a modicum of integrity with me instead of none.
My score here: Obow–0, Carter–0.5.

Maybe those who hold te Nobel Peace Prize near and dear will understand the majority of Americans feeling that Obama is not a notable individual.
Besides he may not be an American because of birth anyway. Wouldn’t it be a hoot if it was really true that we allowed a non american to become one of our presidents!!!! Doesn’t matter he does not have the American moral or belief in our constitution, no matter what the spin…………..
