Obama Sends Passover Wishes to Israel…by Touting Spirit of Muslim Uprising

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House says President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed cooperation on counterterrorism, the Middle East peace process and violence in the Gaza Strip during a telephone conversation Monday.

Obama also extended best wishes to Netanyahu before the start of Passover. The weeklong holiday begins Monday night with a traditional seder meal and marks the biblical story of the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt.

Obama also was hosting a seder at the White House for the third straight year.

White House spokesman Jay Carney said Netanyahu expressed appreciation for U.S. funding for a military weapons system that has intercepted several rockets aimed at Israeli communities.

    Did you read the article? Do you have a clue about anything?
    Passover was the day the Death Angel passed over the Children of Israel before they exited Egypt and the bondage they were in their for not following their covenant with Him. We could only hope that the Death Angel would pass over us. We as a nation are going to be judged severally for the sacrificing children to Baal, homosexuality, murder, worshiping and bringing in false gods and so forth.

    And as far as the dumb comment about the easter bunny, are you on crack? The term Easter is not in the Bible but a cross of two pagan gods and one was for fertility. These gods were worshiped while orgies were going on in the temples in the hopes these gods would be appeased and their herds would be fruitful. Don’t you get it? Reproducing like rabbits? Fertility and eggs?
    This is just a way to change God’s chosen Holy Days.
    I am surprised someone didn’t bring up santa claus. Oh yeah, Jesus wasn’t born on Dec. 25 and He was not crucifies on a Friday either.
    Wake up and seek God while He is near.

      Passover and Easter are not to be confused as the term “Easter” is of pagan origin ( from the goddess Ishtar ). In Acts 12:4 the word translated as Easter in the KJV should have been translated as Pascha or Passover.
      ACTS 12:4(KJV) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. Here is what Strong’s says;

      Strong’s Ref. # 3957
      Romanized pascha
      Pronounced pas’-khah
      Of Aramaic origin [compare HSN6453]; the Passover (the meal, the day, the festival or the special sacrifices connected with it):
      KJV–Easter, Passover.
      The American Standard Version properly translates the word as Passover.
      ACTS 12:4 (ASV)

      I am embarrassed as a citizen of the United States of America by this entire Administration.       He has a very poor track record in his treatment and relationship with Israel. Like Pastor Hagee said on Glenn Beck’s television program if we turn our back on Israel God will turn his back on us. Let’s all hope and pray that our relationship with Israel goes uphill from here. We must make sure that the GOP nominee for President is going to reestablish great relations and has a very pro Israel agenda. Of the front runners I know Mitt Romney is very pro Israel and although I do not like him as a political candidate, or endorse him I have to say Mike Huckabee does also.

      I have to say for someone who want COLLECTIVE SALVATION.. he‘s is OFF his rocker IF he thinks AMERICAN’S will stand with his treatment of Israel.. Mr. Obama .. ONLY you can save yourself it’s NOT a collective thing.. no matter what J. Wright told you.. and let me tell you CHRISTIAN’S DO NOT stand with you.. your on your own ..

      A few questions, Sir. Were you raised to automatically hate Israel? Have you ever wondered why the entire Middle East hates the one country that is actually free? Have you ever noticed that the Arab nations build bombs and kill one another, while allowing their people to starve and remain poor…just as they were 3000 years ago? It’s obvious that the Middle East could learn much from Israel. They are successful well-fed, well-educated, honorable and…free. You must know that if there were no Israel, there would be no freedom in the Middle East at all, and you will go back to killing one another. What exactly does hatred get you, Sir? A bomb strapped to your chest? A life of hunger and disease? What?
