Obama Spiritual Advisor Wallis’ Bizarre Beck Obsession Goes to New Zealand: Says Glenn is Afraid of Christians

By the way, Wallis has it really wrong when he says Christianity has “personal salvation AND social justice at its core.” No such thing. Personal salvation yes. But social justice is not at the CORE of Christianity. It’s a piece of it – it’s an outgrowth of personal salvation but the core of Christianity is helping other people see their need for personal salvation. social justice is the outgrowth of a society that has so many Christians in it that it just naturally lives and abides by Godly principles – which is what ultimately brings about social justice.

There can be no Biblical thing called “social justice” when society insists on sinning against God. It’s such an irony to hear the same people calling for “social justice” also calling for same-sex marriage! THE TWO ARE INCOMPATIBLE. You can’t have a just society when the society as a whole condones such sins.

Also, “social justice” IS NEVER MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE! Derivatives of “saved” and “salvation” are mentioned many times, but the phrase “social justice” doesn’t appear even a single time. So it could hardly be the core of Christianity!

    THIS IS GLENN’S BIGGEST MISTAKE!!!!

he relies too much on religion!

the debate over religious “social justice” will and can never be won by american conservitive christians in the international format! it can’t. this was a poor fight to pick.—-not to say I don’t agree, as an atheist, that if you were to believe in religion it should be “personal” but that is NOT how the rest of the world thinks. from european christians to the islamists.

(i could write a book about this)

Folks, seriously, don’t take this bait.

    Glenn is wrong on this.

Salvation and religion are personal matters.

Attack this cat, willis, politically!! ideas.

    the same with the left.

Do you not, sir, rely on your own religion just as heavily?
But you’re right about religion and salvation being personal matters, which is precisely the reason Glenn warns against collective salvation. He believes salvation is achieved on an individual level, but the collectivists don’t.
You seem bent on applying atheism to justify your claims, so is there a problem you have with Glenn applying his beliefs OTHER than that he believes in God when you do not?

Since Atheism is a religion all its own, I suppose one could call you an evangelical atheist (which is fine by me). However, I am afraid I must inform you that when the “dust settles”, you will not likely be in the company of friends, even when the common enemy is defeated. We Chrisitans (Glenn included) surround you, too. You would be wise to tread lightly, especially once you discover this empirically. The enemy of my enemy is not my friend, and the patriotic plankton will learn this in time, because the truth is indeed a whale. Fire breathing and foul language won’t make you many friends here. No matter what your purpose here, if you are smarter than your comments imply, then you might want to give a little more consideration to your posts and remember that this site exists because of Glenn. The term crapping where you eat comes to mind.
BTW – Atheism and Communism go together like peas and carrots. Apparently, being godless, or worshipping one’s self is necessary to sleep at night when the murder of millions is sanctioned by law.

glenn doesn’t have to “teach” his religious beliefs to the masses. the major religions of the day “teach for doctrine the commandments of men, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof”…

the people are thirsting for answers, ever learning, but never coming to a knowledge of the truth. glenn has exposed just how illiterate americans are about their own history, and he is also exposing just how illiterate they are about who jesus christ was and the purpose of his birth, life, death and resurrection.

the “christians” who attack glenn’s religious beliefs use the same tactics as the democrats/progressives/liberals/progressives do to attack his faith in the founders and the system they set up. the latter-day saints believe these men were inspired and directed by god, that america is a land choice above all others. glenn is just sharing with the nation what mormons already understand on this one issue:

“No people can maintain freedom unless their political institutions are founded upon faith in God and belief in the existence of moral law. God has endowed men with certain unalienable rights and no legislature and no majority, however great, may morally limit or destroy these. The function of government is to protect life, liberty and property and anything more or less than this is usurpation and oppression.

The Constitution of the United States was prepared and adopted by courageous men acting under inspiration from the Almighty. It is a solemn contract between the peoples of the states of this nation which all officers of government are under duty to obey. The eternal moral laws expressed therein must be adhered to or individual liberty will perish. It is the responsibility of government to punish crime and provide for the administration of justice and to protect the right and control of property. But today these basic principles and concepts are being flaunted, disregarded and challenged, even by men in high places. Through the exercise of political expediency the government is condoning the breakdown of law and order.” (Ezra Taft Benson, An Enemy Hath Done This, pages 4-5)

he relies too much on religion!
“The debate over religious “social justice” will and can never be won by american conservitive christians in the international format!”

And this is YOUR biggest mistake. Most American conservative Christians have absolutely ZERO interest in “winning a debate” over “social justice”, international or otherwise. Most American conservative Christians couldn’t care less how or what Europeans or Islamists “think” about it. If you do “write a book about it”, most American conservative Christians will have no desire to read it

American conservative Christians know the difference between someone who “relies too much on religion” and someone who relies on God with “all their heart, with all their mind, with all their might and with all their soul”. And most of them understand that IF this republic is saved, it will not come about through “attacking this cat Wallis” or debating with you on cults, Mormonism, or even politics. It will only come by and through the power and grace of the God to whom this entire world and everything on it belongs.

Whether you “believe” in something or not does not alter its existence in the slightest.

AmericanLass – Mormon though isn’t Christian either. It may have some things in common with it, but the Book of Mormon then takes it into an entirely different direction that Christianity was never meant to go in. God bless Glenn Beck and all the other Mormon American patriots. But don’t be confused into thinking Mormonism and Biblical Christianity are the same thing. They’re not at all.

I do find your comments about the doctrines of the Mormon faith and the Book of Mormon rather unimformed. Many Christian churches today base the claim about Mormons not being Christian on the Nicene Creed. Mormons do not believe that the creed describes the relationship of God the Father and his son Jesus Christ. It is very interesting to read the history of the Nicene Council. This was done to settle a dispute between Alexander and Arius. The emperor Constantine was very involved in the forming of the creed. He wasn’t a Christian at the time. A great book to read is by James L. Barker, Apostasy from the Divine Church if you can find it.

      @ Mr. Butcher

“communisms only opposition can come from freedom-loving free thinkers who REFUSE TO WORSHIP ANY THING!!!!!”

Being religious does not in and of itself define an individual’s ability to be a “free thinker”. This is a false premise. It is only when a religious person allows the doctrine of their religion to blind them to actual facts and reality that there is a problem. This happens, but not to everyone who is religious or 100% of the time. Most religious people are not fanatical.

It’s not just a belief in a God that can, has, and does cause people to ignore facts and reality. Any fanatically-held belief can cause this phenomenon. Fanatical Atheists, Communists, Socialists, Flat-Worlders, PETA activists, etc etc all fit this profile.

Communism & Socialism have been opposed pretty well by free countries whose populations were mostly religious, and the framework of laws and society were mostly derived from religious ideas of justice and societal structure.

As a matter of fact, the ONLY effective opposition to Communism & Socialism so far has been from Capitalism whose populations tend to be majority religious to at least some degree. That’s why Communists and Socialists when in power try to eliminate religion, as they wish the population to worship the State and not a God.

I was just thinkin’, though…..if Wallis really wants “dialogue”, then how come he never goes anywhere except MSNBC. I think that he might be fibbin’. Perhaps he can explain the audio where he confesses to being a socialist radical. But then again, the explanation has already been made. He is a radical socialist trying to hide behind Christianity. The “Beck is afraid of Christians” remark is of course a slap against Mormons. Beck is a Mormon. He is the “real” enemy according to Wallis. Wallis is about as much of a Christian as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

Yes it does, found in Isaiah 8:20 (with reference to v19) “Unto the law and to the testimony; if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”

Galatians 5:19-21 the lusts of the flesh
Galatians 5:22-23 the fruits of the spirit

And Jesus declared “By their fruits you shall know them.”

This is the markings of a follower of God, or of the Spirit of Darkness.

In the matter of collective salvation and social justice; these are fallacies of the highest order brought onto the land for control of people. Salvation and Redemption are the grace of God through Jesus; they are a free gift, to be accepted or rejected by the individuals themselves.

This belief of collective salvation falls apart very simply with a story of the book of Ezekiel…
Ezekiel 18:1-32 it speaks of three separate generations; the father (righteous in Gods eyes), his son (rebels against God), and the grandson (righteous in God’s eyes) each one responsible for his OWN sins committed (in the sons case) or avoided (Father and Grandson) in the relationship with God.

Collective Salvation of people and communities is a fallacy of a magnitude to the Rapture junk and the Left Behind series of books.

Fantasies and dangerous ones at that.

Here are two other stories that may be of interest…
      Ezekiel 331-7 (the watchmen)
Ezekiel 33:11-20 (righteous man/wicked man; single person in examples)

CONGRESS HAS TO DO THE IMPEACHING and right now, it would tear the country apart. So, we need to become and stay involved in the local political process by keeping in touch with our politicians and letting them know (kindly) that we do or do not agree with certain issues and bills. STAY ON TOP OF THEM WITH PHONECALLS AND EMAILS AND LETTERS. I have 2 Democrat Senators in my area and they are both so progressive, I just know they are blinded by their own greed and self-serving interests. I have told them over and over that even though I am a consituent (soon to change that), their progressivism is simply WRONG for this country. After reading the history of this country like I was never taught before (thank you Glenn), I now see what our forefathers wanted for us and it ain’t the Obama agenda, nor the Progressive movement. I am the only one in my family who is changing this Spring to Libertarian as these Dems are NOT my Father’s Democrats. Now, my family (BROTHERS AND SISTERS) wants nothing to do with me because I have taken a stand FOR CONSERVATISM and Christ. Well, TOO BAD. And, they too, CLAIM TO BE CHRISTIANS. They have all gone astray, but I truly believe that the Socialist/Marxist/Communists KNEW they could never have their own party, so they infiltrated (in time) and then took over the Democrat party, pushing the conservative Dems (if there is such a thing) out of the way. I used to be a liberated woman until I met Jesus and began following Him. HE opened up my eyes to the truth, which has set me free from all these liberated, progressive lies, from homosexuality, to abortion. These are lies of the devil that they want us to accept as NORMAL. It is not normal. Practicing Homosexuals are in deep, deep sin and need to repent and ask God for help. And abortions are MURDER as it has been proven that there is a beating heart at 6-8 weeks (I think that’s what I read). So, why do we as Americans, just accept all these lies from Progressives and liberals? Because it is the EASY THING TO DO? Of course! We are a SPOILED COUNTRY and don’t know what it means to go without, to work hard for what you have, to NOT depend on government handouts, etc.. But, like any addiction, Americans need to look in the mirror and ask themselves how they are going to answer God about these questions. Look up all these issues in the Bible, especially in Proverbs. ALL the answers to our questions ARE IN THE BIBLE, but most of us would rather listen to someone else tell us and not go to our Bible to find out for ourselves. Most Americans are lazy in their thinking and doing. They‘d rather keep quiet than ’rock the boat’. I stopped doing that myself several years ago. I am kind when I am speaking, but I will tell you the truth with tact and diplomacy. I have lost a few friends along the way, including those who believe in abortion and homosexuality, but I continue to pray for them and send them cards and call them occasionally to tell them I am thinking of them because CHRIST TOLD US TO PRAY FOR OUR ENEMIES AND LOVE THEM AS HE LOVED US. But, when they ask me what I think and I tell them the truth, it is NOT what they want to hear and they stop being friends, which makes me wonder if they were ever my friends. I love these people, but I love their souls more and that is the bottom line….THE SOUL THAT WILL LIVE FOREVER IN ONE PLACE OF ANOTHER. WHERE WILL YOURS BE AFTER YOUR DEATH? Only you know that answer. THAT answer will direct your thinking, your opinions, and your actions.

Are you sure about that 5?

Joseph Smith taught that the highest exaltation would be achieved through “plural marriage” (polygamy), which was the ultimate manifestation of this New and Everlasting Covenant. Plural marriage allowed an individual to transcend the angelic state and become a god by gaining an “eternal increase” of posterity. Smith taught and practiced this doctrine secretly but always publicly denied it. Nevertheless, Smith taught that once he revealed the doctrine to anyone, failure to practice it would be to risk God’s wrath.

Here is some information found on the testing of true or false prophets and teachers of God; in Isaiah 8:20 (with reference to v19) “Unto the law and to the testimony; if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”

{Fruits of the spirit and the flesh:
Galatians 5:19-21 the lusts of the flesh
Galatians 5:22-23 the fruits of the spirit

Ah, Mormons are Christians. Sadly this is beside the point. The administration has decided to get out a “Spiritual Advisor.” Why, did they lose Rev wrights phone number somewhere? Lets see this for what it is a game; pure and simple. There Idea of “social justice” will be same as it was in Russia in 1930, you know bread lines as well as a few, “its all for the greater good.” Anyone notice that that the leaders of our country no longer count themselves as members of our country? Sure they will get up there and tell you “NO new taxes on the middle class!” All the while they are saying to themselves hey I am not a part of that middle class why do I care. They get elected go to DC and fall into the political model of what side am I on. When really they should get there and say I am here to fight for the American people.

Wallis is afraid Christians will wake up and understand what social justice means–what he has misunderstood about his whole campaign against Glenn Beck is that the only ones who will fall for his ridiculousness are those who believed him in the first place or hold the social justice mindset. The rest of us already think for ourselves. Ever notice how when losing an argument about social justice in particular, a leftist will immediately attack with “That’s not very Christian!” exposing very clearly that they don’t even know what a Christian is. In their minds, it means you turn the other way and accept their hostilities without defending yourself. Sorry Wallis–that just isn’t what being Christian is about. Violence is not our objective and will be avoided at all costs. But don’t expect people to remain silent while you advocate stealing our livelihoods and freedoms cloaked in shaming those with good in their hearts all in the name of handing it off to a grateful section of the population who in turn will keep you in power forever. There are too many of us who understand the very nature of personal responsibility is what keeps us free. We accept charity as part of personal responsibility–but charity is not mandated, ever. What you advocate is theft, pure and simple.

Social Justice is not a Christian doctrine. Self-sufficiency and personal charity is.

But these obligations are put upon us by God – not the government.

At all times, whether we give to Charity or not, the wealth belongs to us, and we may rightfully do with it as we please. The government may not compel us to spend it in any particular way.

      Acts 5:4
“While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control ? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart ? You have not lied to men but to God.”

Mormonism is a “religion” from hell just like Islam, Jehovah’s Witness, Catholicism, etc. If these groups would get out of the books that their religions trains them to read then they would notice the difference.
One of the doctrines of Mormonism is that Jesus and Satan are brothers…dead wrong! Jesus has always existed and Satan was created. Big dif…..

Look, as a mainline protestant, I know the Biblical God and Jesus that I worship are not the same as the one that Mormons do. They just have the same names. I would consider Mormons to be heretical Christians. But hey, aren’t we Christians all heretical Jews to a Jew? We still expect to all get along with a common value system. I hope that this country straightens out so Glenn can some day take the time to question his religion with boldness and investigate and read the original documents for his own sake.
But I also read Jim Wallis‘ book God’s Politics. (Bought it used so the jerk wouldn’t make any money off me.) It was full of drivel and he is an economic idiot and a loon. Real Christianity would never have a government forcibly redistribute wealth and call it charity. And the Free Market is the only solution ultimately to lift the poor out of their poverty, not his stupid socialism. The Left has everything wrong. The scariest thing about his book was his complete perversion of the Book of Micah. He interprets it to say EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of what the language says. Typical Lefty. Beware this man and many others like him. Many of our churches’ leaderships are now being taken over by this hippy generation as the Greatest Generation dies out. Kind of like our government.

I’ve always enjoyed debate on what some would call the heretical beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Having been on both sides (was once a protestant, converted to LDS) I have something of a unique perspective. We Mormons are people of Faith and Reason, and I’m more than willing to reason any belief my fellow Christians might find heretical, not in the hopes that they come to believe them necessarily, but in the hopes that they come to understand that our beliefs, though they might seem strange, are not without historic or logical precedent. But for fear of going overly off topic, and for plunging myself into a religious debate in a place where such a debate seems inappropriate, I’ll limit such answers to private requests, with a special invitation to Mr. Butcher and 13thgenerationamerican.

For now all I can say is that if the label Christian refers only to one’s desire to take upon themselves the name of Christ, to live as he lived, to accept his gift of atonement, repentance, and salvation, then no one here or anywhere has any business excluding members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from the label.

It was Glenn Beck that asking viewers to take the 40 day challenge, that’s when I found God!

For the next 40 days and 40 nights, I pledge…I COVENANT to practice faith, hope and charity by doing these things.

First…faith. I will pray on my knees every night for the next 40 nights…starting TONIGHT. Pray for guidance, inspiration, peace…pray for the leaders of our country. Pray for their safety, and that they will receive wisdom. I will re-establish my relationship with God.

Hope…hope comes from truth. You can’t have hope based on lies. If you go to the doctor and you’re in the early stages of cancer, but the doctor tells you that you just have the sniffles…that’s false hope, and it won’t help you, in fact, it would kill you. So, we have to have honesty, to have real hope. So, I will stop all lies for the next 40 days. That includes lying to myself. I will establish a pattern of honesty and make it become habitual. I will question with boldness…everything…even the things Glenn Beck tells you every night…I will do my own research…and then pray for my own confirmation on the things I have learned. I will find out what is true in my life.

And third…I will have charity. Charity begins at home. I will do something kind for every member of your family at least once a week. I will write it down, and then do it. Also, I pledge to take notice of how blessed I really am. I live in the greatest country the world has ever known…and even the least prosperous among us, are among the wealthiest people in the world…I will be grateful.

God is in my heart & my life thanks to Glenn.

He doesn’t fear Christians at all; he is one, despite what many other Christians may think. How many Christians do you think showed up at the 8-28 rally and the Kennedy Center the night before , beside the many pastors with him on stage. I didn’t see him running in fear. He was just saying, in very strong language, that social justice is akin to socialism and was never taught by Jesus. I think the closest Jesus ever came to preach social justice was when he said, “…saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s.” Oh, wait a minute, wasn’t Caesar one of the rich. Isn’t social justice about taking from the rich to give to the poor? Hm, what could this mean?

This went to my 2.4 million opt-in subscribers last week to put in perspective what Beck is all about..share it with all you know before his goons crub it..have challenged him for 7 yrs now..he is as gutless as those he calls out…

      A Spiritual Puppet Master

      (Matthew 10:28)

Jesus said, “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28

A “spiritual puppet master!” Glenn Beck has recently done a series on his radio and TV programs, labeling billionaire financier George Soros a “puppet master.” I tell you today that it is satanic Mormon cult member Glenn Beck, who is a “spiritual puppet master!” Glenn Beck is a very powerful man. I will be dismissed by him and many who read these words as a “bigot,“ a ”Mormon-hater,“ a ”nutjob,” and other derogatory names. That is OK since in the end, the truth will stand and the lie will fall.

In a recent poll of those who identify themselves as evangelical Christians, over 50% said they believe that despite being a Mormon, Glenn Beck is a born-again believer. This is amongst people who are supposed to know that Mormon doctrine is 100% inconsistent with Biblical Christianity and a Mormon is no more a Christian than a Muslim is! If this poll has any accuracy, what about the millions Beck reaches daily through his radio/TV/internet empire who are part of the last 2 generations, the bulk of which has NO faith foundation of any kind?

Glenn Beck is an incredibly smart man. He is well read. He is a student of history. For anyone to think for a second that Beck doesn’t intimately know Mormon history and Mormon doctrine is ridiculous. I get emails from people every day saying that they like Beck’s message and politics but would never be swayed to join the satanic Mormon cult. I say wonderful, but the reality is that the overwhelming majority Beck reaches each day are NOT rooted and grounded in the Scriptures, many have no faith at all, and they are sitting ducks for Beck’s proselytizing.

People will say that Beck doesn’t openly try to bring people into the false beliefs of Mormonism. Of course not, he is far too clever. However, for those who get involved with Beck through his various books, personal appearances, members only section of his website, he is much more open in sharing the glories of his Mormon experience and how it has changed his life. Beck doesn’t have to openly proselytize as a true evangelist would, since he seeks to convert people to Mormonism through what many in evangelical circles would call “lifestyle evangelism.” The message is clear, look at how my life has changed, it can change yours too!

The interesting thing is that I wrote about George Soros as a type of the anti-Christ over 4 years ago, long before Beck ever spoke of him publicly. He is a proponent of a one-world government, one-world economy, one-world relgion. However, he does not have the ability to bring together the peoples of the world as the anti-Christ will. For the record, President Obama is not even close to being the anti-Christ, he simply isn’t smart enough! There is no doubt Soros is a thoroughly evil man, manipulating economies, governments, for his personal gain. He is a devout atheist who has no conscience when it comes to destroying people’s lives to make his billions.

While Soros uses his vast wealth to manipulate politics around the world to make money, Beck uses his vast media wealth to manipulate the hearts and minds of people to further his satanic cult. In today’s Scripture, Jesus was saying not to worry about the George Soros’ of the world, since all they can do is kill your body, but worry about the Glenn Beck’s of the world, since they can kill your soul!!!

As a side note, one of Beck’s ardent supporters and benefactors is billionaire philanthropist John Huntsman. Huntsman is also a member of the satanic Mormon cult and has used his billions around the world to fund Mormon causes leading untold millions of people to hell who fell for the lies of Mormonism. The Bible says that man sees the outer while God sees what is inside. Soros is an obviously evil man, however, Huntsman, hailed as this generous grandfatherly type, is evil personified since he has used his vast wealth to fill the bowels of hell!

Beck speaks so often of “God,“ of ”Jesus,“ of ”the Lord,” and reading the Bible. What Beck fails to mention is that when a Mormon speaks of God, they are NOT speaking about the God of the Bible!!! Their “god” is named Elohim and was once a man like you and I who came from another planet. Mormon Doctrine states that their god was once a human man, and “He is now a glorified, resurrected personage having a tangible body of flesh and bones.” As a matter of fact, “all gods first existed as spirits, came to an earth to receive bodies, and then, after having passed through a period of probation on the aforesaid earth, were advanced to the exalted position they now enjoy.” Mormon theology teaches that men can eventually become a god and have their own planet.

Likewise, the Mormon jesus was not supernaturally conceived by the Holy Ghost, but the natural offspring of their “god” Elohim who had sex with Mary, meaning he is a created being no different than you and I. Mormons also teach that their jesus had several wives and children, in compete contradiction to what the Bible teaches. The jesus of Beck and the Mormon cult is also the brother of Lucifer and will return not to the Mt. Of Olives as the Bible teaches, but to Independence, Missouri to set up his earthly Kingdom.

I’ve always been amused when Beck talks about reading different books of the Bible, when according to Mormon doctrine, the Bible is an imperfect and flawed book. The final Scriptural authority for a Mormon are the writings of their cults racist, pedophile, murdering, polygamist founder Joseph Smith. I wonder why Beck never mentions reading the Book of Mormon???

The bottom line to Mormonism and why it is a cult can be boiled down to one core issue, the jesus of the Mormons is NOT a deity! When a Mormon speaks of Jesus, they are NOT speaking about the Jesus in the Bible, the Savior of the world! The jesus of Mormon theology is NOT God incarnate as the Bible teaches!!! Of course Glenn Beck fails to mention these “differences” to you, knowing that most will be duped into thinking he is talking about the Biblical God and Jesus and failing to understand his final authority is not the Bible written by the one and only God, but the satanically inspired writings of Smith!

Of course, aiding in Beck’s deception are a willing array of well-known “Christians” like David Barton and a host others who sell out the faith and put innocent souls at risk in order to gain whatever they can from him. It is a well proven technique used by cult leader Myung Sung Moon in the 80s, when he bought off virtually all of the top Christian leaders of his day, knowing their thirst for dollars outweighed their thirst for the Truth. Another Mormon cult member Mitt Romney, also used this masterfully in his bid to be President in 2008, getting high profile Christians like Jay Sekulow, Ralph Reed, Mark DeMoss, and host of others to sell out the faith to give him credibly within the Christian community.

Most don‘t fully comprehend Beck’s apocalyptical mindset, but than you won’t unless you understand Mormon prophecy as Beck clearly does. Don’t take my word for it, go Google, Mormon White Horse Prophecy. It is a prophecy from cult founder Joseph Smith that Beck and all Mormons believe which basically says that our nation will undergo incredible economic and political unrest, and a Mormon will come to the rescue to save the nation. In order to do that, the US Constitution will be suspended and we will be operated as a Mormon theocracy.

Don’t think Beck believes this? Ever wonder why he is so big on storing up food and gold? Why else unless some sort of catastrophic event that would disrupt life as we know it was possibly going to occur? Please, don’t take my word for anything I am saying, look it up for yourselves. There are plenty of websites you can Google that clearly lay out what Mormon’s believe about the last days, though I doubt you will be able to find anything on Beck’s new propaganda, errrr, news site. When Beck talks about “what the Lord is calling him to do,” it is to lead this last days Mormon revolution as Paul Revere, with Mitt Romney being George Washington!

I love you and care about you so much. I have an open challenge to Glenn Beck. My “red phone” is waiting for your call. Just as Beck taunted the White House to respond to his allegations and challenge him if anything he said was false, I make that same challenge to him. If there is anything I have said that is not true, you have a national platform to call me out. The reality is, just like Obama will never put himself in a position to be challenged on his beliefs, neither will Beck.

Beck loves to go after the liberal press who attack him daily. However, he understands they don’t have a clue to what he is really about or his real agenda since they are spiritually blind! He is just as gutless as Obama when it comes to those who can properly identify his true message and motivations. Again Glenn, feel free to contact me and I will appear with you any time, any place, in any venue, if you want to challenge even one word I have said.

Please do me a favor, get this to every person you know so at least people will understand who Glenn Beck is and where is message comes from. Also, here are the main two email addresses for Beck. Make sure everyone forwards him a copy of this Devotiaonl, since with over 2.4 million subscribers, I reach almost as many people in a day as Beck does. me@glennbeck.com or stu@glennbeck.com

In closing, I am only asking Beck to do one thing, the one thing he claims he is all about…be HONEST! Simply admit that a Mormon is not a Christian, since they are not. Simply admit that the god and jesus of Mormon theology are NOT the God and Jesus of the Bible, since they are not. Simply admit that the Book of Mormon is the final authority for Mormons, not the Bible. Finally, simply admit that he feels he is the “Paul Revere” to sound the warning call about the impending doom of this nation and that a Mormon will save the nation, since that is what he and all Mormons believe.

The fact is, I could care less if Beck thinks he will die and be the god of his own planet with thousands of wives to make spirit babies with, or any of the ludicrous beliefs the Mormon cult holds. All I have ever asked him, Romney, and any other Mormon, is to simply be honest about what they believe and quit trying to deceive people into thinking they are Christians, when there is NOTHING Christian about Mormon theology!

Finally, if you don’t believe anyhting I have said, you are the one who will be sitting by your chimney on December 24th waiting for Santa Claus to bring you Beck’s latest book!

In His love and service, Your friend and brother in Christ, Bill Keller

The Salvation Army is making a bad alliance with Rev. Jim Wallis from Soujourners and his version of Social Justice and Liberation Theology. Wallis is financed by among other George Soros, the devout anti American atheist. Please watch this and make up your own mind. http://www.sorosonsoros.com/
Christians believe that faith without works is dead but that our giving to the poor is voluntary and not forced by the State or the Church.
In this recording Wallis says “personal salvation” but Obama always says he believes in “Collective Salvation.” Rev. Wallis has defended the Nicaraguan Sandinistas in “Witness for Peace” and the Committee of Solidarity with the People of El Salvador and supports “restructuring social societies” Castor, Chavez and Ortega are “communist paradises for social justice.” http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/2478246/posts Also the book “The Roots of Obama’s Rage” explains the anti colonial mind set he has.

I wish this idiot using the name of Christ and social justice in the same sentence. He is of his father satan, and preaches a false gospel. He may want to read the book of Galatians just to refresh his memory as to what happens when one preaches a gospel other then the one Paul preached, he will be accursed. Nothing new with this man many have come using Christ name and were not of his church.

thats funny, I thought mormons were Christian. Every mormon I know says they believe Jesus Christ to be there Lord and Savior, which isn’t that the definition of a Christian. And no, don‘t give me that bs that they believe in a different Jesus or some other reason they aren’t Christian. There are hundreds, if not thousands of different “Christian” belief in America alone, all of which see Christ and Christianity a little differently, all of which are considered Christian.

Hi 13thGenerationAmerican and MrButcher…I don’t think Glenn is afraid of Christians because he thinks he is one.
Big dif…..

Can you explain why you think Jehovah’s Witnesses are a religion from hell? What did they ever do to you to cause you real harm?

Also your last sentence is wrong according to Bible scripture. I ask for an explanation please,. If you are going to make statements, at least be able to support your allegations.

Wiheke makes me laugh. Why he/she saw the need to spout the most basic of anti-mormon tenants, only a small portion of which has any credence, and the rest of which has already either been presented as perfectly reasonable or completely untrue (this qualifies most of it, IE God had sex with Mary, BAHAHAHAHA!) is unclear to me, but still. Kudos for making me laugh.

Mormons are Christians. The definition of a Christian is someone who believes in Christ as the savior of the world. The actual name of the church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. What more proof do you need?

Mormon is slang (not title of church) Christ is mentioned more times in the Book of Mormon than in the Bible. We use both Bible and Book of Mormon (combined books from Ancient America followers of Christ descendants of the Jews) We talk of Christ, we follow him and he is our Savior. We are Christians, followers of Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

GLENN IS A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST. There is a big difference between the words CHRISTIAN and FOLLOWER OF CHRIST. If Glenn has accepted Jesus as his personal Savior, which he has said he has, and tries to live that life, then HE IS A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST, JUST AS I AM A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST. Just because you say you are a Christian, does not make you a Christian (you cannot serve Christ and the world and make them equal to each other. It cannot be done because where your heart is, so are you). The Bible clearly tells us how to become a follower of Christ (born again and saved by the blood of Christ – vocally expressing your earnest desire to follow Christ) NOT A CHRISTIAN. Wallis may claim to be a Christian, BUT HE IS NOT A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST. Wallis is all about his own church‘s DOCTRINE and I believe Glenn is following what Jesus’ commands were, using his own common sense and not what the LDS or Mormon church tells him to do. I think we should all start looking at our own lives before we start analyzing someone else’s. I can truly say that I am not perfect, but I am forgiven by the blood of Christ, so therefore, I can say that by watching, listening, and analyzing what these two men say and do, I can honestly say, and without any hesitations, that GLENN IS THE FOLLOWER OF CHRIST and WALLIS IS NOT. Someone please ask Wallis if he has accepted Jesus as his personal Savior, and then ask him if he would actually say, “I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and all mankind, and rose again on the 3rd day. I accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and I will follow him and his commands all the days of my life.” I WILL BET YOU THAT WALLIS WILL GIVE EVERY EXCUSE TO NOT SAY IT. I would love to be a fly on the wall. I truly believe that Glenn was raised up by God to be our LAST VOICE IN THE WILDERNESS. He is no saint, but HE TOO, IS FORGIVEN, I know, but I believe with all my heart that God is leading him ON OUR BEHALF. However, Wallis is deceived and will be judged for leading people the wrong way. Those who lead others away from Christ in any way, thru deed, action, or teaching, will have the worst place in hell. I am praying for Wallis as my Spirit confirms to me that HE IS NOT A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST. We need to all be praying for both men; for Glenn‘s protection and strength and for Wallis’ conviction about his own soul and spirit. Just my 2 cents and I have been a follower of Christ for over 30 years, renewing my walk with Christ, several years ago when I felt that I needed to be stronger in my faith. Didn’t mean to lecture, but we all need to tell the truth and stop beating around the bush. Like Glenn always says, KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH…..GET RID OF THE LIES.

Those of you proclaiming our Church as “wrong”, you are just as bad as any other bigot. I’m running out the door so only have a minute to school you 13th, regarding the polygamy thing. It came about when these folks were treking west into unknown and rough territories. Along the way many squirmishes saw the male population dwindle leaving many of the woman folk without their husbands. As the band moved west the women began to outnumber the men, and as we know in those days a single woman (especially one with children) was vulnerable. Hence, the need for plural marriage. I suspect that Joe Smith claimed that God ordained the practice to make it easier for the folks to accept.

      There’s your history lesson.

This of course has nothing to do with what the practice has morphed into, nor should it be construed to mean that I think that the practice is fine and dandy today. However, as with most things it is important to have your facts and history straight, something you continuously tend to have great trouble with.

13th, grow up, read a book, get some knowledge-it will keep you from sounding like such an idiot all of the time.

The Mormon cult was founded by a snake oil sales man. Mormonism IS NOT and NEVER will be Christian. They try to pass themselves off as such, but their beliefs in no way line up with Christianity. I have written a 30 page disertation on this very subject (as part of my ministry doctorate) and I assure you, as much as I love Glenn, he is mislead. They pray on those that are sick and weak which is why they started the whole recovery movement, which is where Glenn found them. They even have their own version of the Bible with subtle but VERY important differences, that are designed to mislead. Do a little homework and you will see that they are not what they appear.

      @13th Gen

If that is how you want to spin it. I am a Mormon and I am not afraid of Christians, but I am worried for Americans who are duped into a religious system that is built upon the foundation of Marxism, which is totally contrary to New Testament Christianity.

Jesus taught God is no respecter of persons, God does not give preferential treatment to one person over another. We are all the same in his eyes. Jesus said to be ye therefore perfect like your Father in heaven is perfect. On that doctrinal basis alone leftist schemes like “social justice” and class warfare fly in the face of New Testament doctrine. If we are to be like our Father in heaven the we too will be no respecter of persons. We will not give certain people preferential treatment over others. We are all the same, sinners.

Jesus taught us to be charitable and to give of your own free will; Paul calls this CHARITY. Because you are not compelled to do good, but to do it out of the goodness of your heart. On that doctrinal principal alone forced charity (as the obama administration calls ‘power by the barrel of a gun’) flies in the face of traditional Christian doctrine.

No where in the New Testament did Jesus teach that you should render unto Caesar so that Caesar can redistribute the bread and water to the masses.

ALYDIA, I hate to burst your bubble, but Satan is also called Lucifer. Lucifer is also known as light. Lucifer was with the councils of Heaven and was cast down to Earth. The book of Isaiah in the Old Testament, chapter 14, reads; “12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.”
So you see he could not have fallen from Heaven if he was not already there and a part of God’s plan. Christ wanted to serve and give all glory to God, Lucifer wanted to take all of the Glory to do what Christ was chosen to do.
13thGen and Mr. Butcher must get all of their misinformation from the same place most ministers seem to get theirs from. It certainly doesn’t come from the doctrines of the LDS Church. Perhaps they should go to LDS.ORG and find out what the Mormons do believe.
