Obama Takes Family Out for Final Vacation Treat
HONOLULU (AP) — President Barack Obama took his family and friends for a final vacation treat before heading back to Washington.

After an afternoon at the beach, the Obama party stopped at Island Snow for shave ice, a Hawaiian snow cone. First lady Michelle Obama, daughters Malia and Sasha, and about a dozen friends joined the president for one of the rare public stops of his nearly two-week vacation.

Island Snow is a favorite local stop for the first family; Obama took his daughters there earlier in their trip.

The president, dressed in a white polo shirt, black shorts, flip flops and a Chicago White Sox baseball cap, paid for the treats with a $100 bill

The Obamas are leaving Hawaii late Monday and arriving in Washington on Tuesday morning.

    A few years ago I was in the carib islands working. as a ‘local’ i realized there is much hatred for whites in the poorer areas. I also noticed some wore ‘white sox’ t-shirts. You can figure this out pretty fast if you listen to their accents. Could Obama be thinking he’s getting away subtle message to the public?

      The Purple Tie…The Middle-Finger face scratch…The Arrogant Strut he has descending the stairs of Air Force One…Leaving “God” out of his quotations…Have to admit that the man REALLY comes across as a self-centered, egotistical, petty lil’ thug…He has done it to himself by insulting our country…AND…he’s done it since day one!     It does not matter if he is in dc or away, his minions HE appointed are doing all his dirty work. They keep hoping that the curtain stays shut, but Toto keeps pulling it back.     I vote to take away his “Airforce One” priveleges until he addresses the demands of the majority of the American people. Most all of us would be working 14 to 16 hour days without vacation to save a failing company. Nobody is so elite that they can’t be held to those same standards.
    This brings the question…Just who the hell does he think he is – nobility?

He was wearing casual clothes and bought snow cones and paid with a $100 bill! For Blazers, nothing, nothing the president does is too minor, too insignificant to bring forth hatred, because the are true patriots and lovers of Jesus.       Golly, I wish I had a favorite shaved ice spot in Hawaii but I can’t afford to take a vacation, especially to Hawaii. And it was the “final” treat which means there were lots of “treats” prior to that – wish I could afford to take family and friends out to get a treat at “Rita’s Italian Ice” around the corner but thanks to Obama and Congress that ship sailed with the economy. But I’m optimistic for the future ’cause there‘s a new sheriff in town and I’m lookin’ ahead!

      I don’t fault the snow cones. I don’t fault the man for buying his kids a treat. More power to him. And he can pay with $100 bill, although they are now known as the most forged bill at least here on the East Coast and many stores won’t accept them….

      I just have trouble with the pronouncements about sugar from the White House, and obesity in kids. I have a problem with the lofty attitudes. I have a problem with the “I know how you should live your life” idea.

      And I hope the kids enjoyed their snow cones.

      There are a few pictures coming out showing a very thin Obama. All of these vacations he has been taking may not be vacations but trips to get chemo and radiation therapy. Last year there was a story in several tabloids that Obama had lung cancer and we know he is a heavy smoker. The American people should be told if Obama is sick so we can pray for him. Who wants an alcoholic Biden as president?

      And if you spend enough time here, as you do, you notice the hatred over race is mainly imported by liberals; and for various reasons. But let’s be honest, the largest and most predominate reason for your presence here is hatred for conservatism, and the Tea Party. Consider that perhaps all of us started out that way, liberal, narcissistic; its human nature . . . But at some point, we grew out of it; we evolved. Part of that is learning that hatred is universal to liberalism; its part of what liberalism is because liberalism by its nature comes to hate everything . . . There’s great angst over everything, except for itself.       Sir, you miss the point completely and it is threefold so I will spell it out for you and for Our Lord Jesus Christ which you like to take in vain in both your rants.
      1. The kids are eating snowcones. Hardly the ‘healthful’ food that their mother has been railing about for the better part of a year and who has so viciously attacked the food industry over. Her “lets move’ program is anything but about moving or being healthy but instead a hollow form of affirmative food action for a handful of communities across this country yet it comes with a 4 billion price tag of which is being robbed from food stamps to pay for. Her hypocrisy here with this picture is the first and foremost bothersome thing about this story.

      2. He pays with a $100 dollar bill. Perhaps he has nothing smaller that he travels with, but for whatever reason not many people out there do that and in such a public non-chalant manner. It is his arrogance and his elitist attitude about the rest of us peons that is illustrated by this seemingly innocent act. The man uses poor judgment in all areas of his administration and he cares not what kind of image he is displaying to the great unwashed gun and religion clingers of this nation of whom pay is salary.

      3. His vacation was extended a day, which of course costs you and I more money. Granted he left a day late but that was of his choosing and rightfully so as things needed finishing in Washington. It chaps the asses of a lot of us to see him vacationing, playing golf and generally living it up while we have near record unemployment, high gas prices, high food prices and no end in sight to any of them…and also that very few of us have had a real vacation, much less all expense paid ones one Hawaii, in the better part of the 2-5 years. It must be really nice to be the King.

      So kindly take your vitriol about the ‘Blazers’ being upset about this and shove it up your Holy Hiney. :) God Bless.

      You nailed it! No one would care that he took his nappy headed brats (yeah, I went there) out for snow cones. It is the fact that that had two weeks worth of golf, treats, eating out, the beach, and edless family fun in Hawaii. Most of the country is struggling just to get by and the president is living like a king on our dime. It demonstrates that he does not care about the people.

      I am happy for him, really I am so I sohouldn’t complain. Two more paydays for me and I will be able to take my family to Chili’s for our semi-annual dinner out. Not the Chili’s in HI, btw, the one down the street form my house.
