Obama to Meet With Seal Team 6 Members

WASHINGTON (AP) — A White House official says President Barack Obama will meet with some of those involved in the military assault that killed Osama bin Laden when he visits Fort Campbell, Ky., on Friday.
A team of Navy SEALs raided a compoound in Pakistan, killing the terrorist mastermind. Bin Laden was later buried at sea. Fort Campbell is home to the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, which participated in the raid against bin Laden.
The aide requested anonymity to speak before the official announcement of Obama’s meeting.
Obama visited ground zero in New York City on Thursday to pay respects to victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attack carried out by bin Laden.

Sure, let’s invite them to the WH for a steak and then serupticiously photograph them and leak it out. That way, eventually ,they will be hunted down by Al Quieda assasins. Get rid of the evidence. And we luvs us some Constitution…unless the Commander has a (D) after his name. So, I know we‘ve been preaching for 50 years that we’ve got to “respect the Commander in Chief” and keep your mouth shut “during times of war” when we’ve got “troops in the field.” But you know, and I know, and everyone knows that we Conservatives only mean that when the fella in the Oval Office has a (R) after his name. It’s kinda been an open secret – but I think we can be pretty up front about it now.
So, forget the Constitution. Forget the chain of command. Forget everything we’ve ever said about supporting our Commander in Chief during times of war. Refuse to meet your Commander and accept his thanks! Because, he has a (D) after his name, and I don’t like him.

I hope someone has enough sense not to let any photos out of the team members; unless they are wearing camo masks and such to protect their identities as they do in trials with witnesses who need their identities protected.
I just wonder how weird it would feel to the Secret Service around that team; I mean, they protect the POTUS and search people for weapons, and these guys are that in every shape and form possible.
The SEALS would never harm the POTUS, I realize that, I just wish to see the looks on the agents faces though.

American heroes meeting the President of the United States in person to receive thanks, that’s a tradition that goes back to the beginning of our country. That’s always been an honor, and if think those Seals don’t want to be there and shake the hand of the President, you’re dead wrong.
It was President Obama’s decision, his alone, to send the Seals in rather than just obliterate the compound with cruise missiles. His decision. But based on his faith on America’s best warriors, he chose the alternative. High risk, high reward. But Obama had faith in our servicemen, and made the decision to risk their lives for the country based on his confidence in them.
I imagine these guys will be okay with the President thanking them personally. Although frankly, if I understand these guys, they might just as well sit at home and read a book. You don’t become a Seal unless your motivations are internal.

I just hope our president isn’t planning to turn Holder loose on the SEALs for violating the rights of those poor terrorists. It is one of the deepest shames in our history that our defenders have to worry about criminal investigations for what they do on our behalf.

So if the SEALS are getting ALL the press who REALLY is OUR best SECRETIVE Spec-op ASSASIANS ???? Hum maybe this Operation was ALL about using the SEALS and Bin Laden for Politics and Photo-Ops!!! We all have seen COPS they do RAIDS like this DAILY on American citizens. They just drive up to the door !!! Hum we could have someone deliver flowers like in the movies or a fake maintenance man knocking the whole house out with sleeping gas, like the Russians did once to Hostage takers at the Opera house years ago. But we go in with choppers and guns a blazing taking NO prisoners!!
