We’ve already brought you video of at least one of President Obama‘s incredible claims during today’s “tax cut” compromise press conference. Here’s another, in which Obama continues to demonize Republicans by calling them “hostage takers” and setting himself up as the savior of “hostage” Americans:
The claim was set up earlier in the press conference when he said that the American people agreed with him that the “rich” shouldn’t get tax cuts.

He is useless but very dangerous to our United States. What is worse are all his followers who cannot see him for what he is but blindly follow his preachings. These people are dangerous too because they can’t think for themselves or they have a warped vision of their “utopia” which is something not based in reality.

Posted on December 7, 2010 at 3:11pmI watched this “news” conference and thought how defensive he was; how, he’s already trying to spin it for his liberal buddies who are ticked off at him. He still gave out as divisive, he should been talking about the spirit of compromise but instead turned it back on what he needed to do to get it done. The Republicans were never against extending the tax cuts for middle class America, they wanted the tax cuts for all Americans. His verbage as usual is misleading, he claimed he was not using the politics of the moment but doing what he had to do to get it done at this time (excuse me in my version of the English language, it’s pretty much the same thing). He came out and was nothing but political and if that’s his attitude,he’s going to have a really rough twoyears. He still doesn’t get it. He held continuing the current tax rates hostage to extending an already incredulous 2 years of unemployment that someone has to pay for.

Posted on December 7, 2010 at 3:08pmPRESIDENT OBAMA’S MOTIVES:
Do you actually believe that Mr. Obama is actually trying to improve the economy? In recent history, almost all coups, resulting in a dictatorship were preceded by a very severe economic crisis. Is that economic crisis Mr. Obama’s objective? Remember when Rahm Emanuel , Obama’s chief of staff, stated one should never waste a crisis. What do you think he meant? You should be very afraid!
Mr. Obama presents 3 alternatives:
• Ignorance, which can be cured with knowledge
• Stupidity, which is forever
• Evil, he plans to avenge King George III by destroying the American Revolution and create a dictatorship.
Almost every initiative that Obama has instigated is destructive to the economy. Does anyone really believe that a President can be that stupid or ignorant? If you do, I have some perfectly dry, vacant land that is completely ready for development in Florida for sale cheap, cash only. http://commonsense21c.com/

Posted on December 7, 2010 at 3:26pmi don’t want to argue the that they are cuts again but now this idiotic move has been completed, how are we going to pay for it? It is going to result in 700B less revenue which, unless we cut something, we will have to borrow from China. I have yet to hear anything from the Reps on what will be cut (except earmarks which do NOT cost our government anything extra). What is gonna get cut?
Report Post »OK3Wire
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 3:38pmBro, your comment, “… It is going to result in 700B less revenue …” is EXACTLY the mindset that has consumed Washington and is twisting the concept of extending the tax cuts into the misguided ploy that it has become.
It’s only “less revenue” BECAUSE WASHINGTON HAS ALREADY SPENT IT! It’s like my employees, counting on receiving a Christmas bonus this year, counting on having it in hand. However, unlike the government, since the office production is down again this year, there will likely be no bonuses — or at least much smaller ones. The fact that they already counted on this money and have committed the funds does NOT mean that it was theirs to begin with. Receipt of bonuses is completely dependent on how well the business has done — it is NOT an entitlement!
Therefore, the quoted $700B that the government will be “losing” is only because they erroneously spent it before it was given to them by US.
I hope that wasn’t too complex. It’s really a very simple concept — PAY AS YOU GO, just as Nasty Pelosi so eloquently promised.

We‘ll just make it up with the projected 2010 revenue from Clinton’s last budget.
Oh, that doesn’t exist? Oh right, because projected revenue is imaginary until the private sector earns it.
Tax credits cost the government because it pays someone who did not have the money.
Rate reductions do not cost the government, because the money does not exist until the taxpayer earns a profit. The taxpayer might not earn a profit regardless of the rates. The taxpayer may possibly earn so much profit, she pays more revenue than would have been paid under the higher rate.
BTW how do earmarks cost nothing extra? I suppose there are earmarks that just move money around, but how many specifically limit themselves to money already allocated? When did an earmark ever fail to find funding?
Report Post »Wrath
Posted on December 7, 2010 at 3:47pmDONT ****** ME BRO: First, the 700B lost revenue is a number that came from a dark place near where the leader is sitting. Second, the tax rates stay the same. You got it. They stay the same. That means the “rich” continue to pay nearly all the taxes. Third, only someone who confuses government with Ameica would think that raising taxes produces revenue. Where is the revenue going to come from that Obama spent paying off his UAW buddies? Where is it going to come from for the $1,200,000,000,000 he deficit spent last year. Cutting earmarks might only lead to 80 Billion in money not spent but it sends a message to Washington and the people of the USA…it says that our government is understanding their irresponsible handling of our money. Congress, by the Constitution, is only giving 16 powers and the ability to make laws that assist in the implementation of those powers. ALL Congressional spending MUST be done for the “General Welfare” of the country, no one single lobby group or state or town or region. It is the only thing that make the DoD and 4 military branches legal – they provide for the general welfare and provide for the common defense of the country. Earmarks do none of that. They cater to one place or group. They are unconstitutional and all earmark money should be retroactively eliminated – the Congress should cease any new or on going earmark money period!! Next…there have been lots of proposed cuts…look to Paul Ryan, Rand Paul, and others…they have entire plans on their sites, DeMint as well. they are all over the place even if the GOP elites don’t want to listen to them.
Dang…I think we should do what Beck and Cato and Heritage have said…Art Laffer as well… we could cut 400 Billion out of the budget TOMORROW if the Weasel in Chief had even the smallest BB’s for balls….wow…400 Billion…that is like the highest Bush era deficit …hmmm…so we could go back to 2007 spending levels in the government and have a balanced budget….wow…not too hard to approve of that….if we killed off all the Obamonomics (healthcare, 3 year unemployment, hand outs to the UAW, NEA, and SEIU/AFL-CIO…I think we could probably get another 200-300 billion out of the budget….dang…that means we would be paying off our 14 Trillion debt in about 50 years…. sounds GREAT to me….my grand kids would be in a country with ZERO debt and a balanced budget…what a NOVEL concept….
