Obama Uses Clinton Global Initiative to Tout Jobs Bill

Obama Touts Jobs Bill at Clinton Global InitiativePresident Barack Obama used his platform at the Clinton Global Initiative in New York on Wednesday to again tout his $447 billion jobs bill, asserting that while “not a silver bullet” it would “create jobs right away.”

“America is still the biggest economy in the world,” Obama said. “So the single most important thing we can do for the global economy is to get our own economy growing again.”

“I’m fighting hard to make sure that we get this bill passed through Congress,” Obama stated at CGI. “There is no reason why we shouldn’t pass this right away.”

Former President Bill Clinton, who introduced Obama at the summit, apparently agreed, saying Obama’s jobs plan would increase U.S. GDP and “enable America to help the world again.”

Meanwhile, USA Today notes that Obama also expressed his frustration with beltway infighting, stating, “our politics right now is not doing us any favors.” He added that he envied Clinton, because, as a former president, he now gets to deal with “people who are just reasonable all the time.”

Obama then heaped even more praise on CGI and the former president, dubbing Clinton the “Do-Gooder-In-Chief“ and stating how good it was to ”see so many do-gooders in one room.”

      If you want to begin your political ‘education’ this “IS” a (very) thinly veiled declaration that your “stimulus” money isn‘t going into our ’local’ economy. Because “jobs” are ‘jobs’, even if they are in another nation.

    He is right. His jobs bill will provide jobs for wall street types to manage his “Infrastructure Bank.” It will preserve, not provide, union jobs for teachers and public employees. At some future time it may provide some union construction jobs, but this is not guaranteed. One thing it will provide is an opportunity for the federal government to trash the constitution and eliminate the sovereignty of every state that accepts the money provided to maintain the jobs of union state employees and teachers. This man is doing everything he can to turn our Republic into a dictatorship!

    Global scam intitiative is more like it. Clinton must be losing a lot of money to be out trying speak up for Barry. One impeached President and the worst President ever. Didn’t think there could be a worse President than Carter or Clinton, but the Democrats must have a stockpile of them on an island somewhere. Barry, Clinton was no “Do-Gooder in Chief”! The things Bubba did were not too good. If memory serves, he was impeached. The only things he did was let OBL get away and numerous things with an intern named Monica. It‘s all he’ll be remembered for. Just like this President will be remembered for being a blatant fascist liar, economic destroyer, and lazy loafer living on taxpayer money in the WH.

There was a video of Soros saying America needs to be reduced to a 3rd world country, all of our money and resources should be redistributed to other countries (Brazil drilling our oil) and all manufacturing would take place in China.     The jobs bill is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!! It is illegal to take away the states rights, which is what the jobs bills does. He is using it as a secret weapon against the proper channels of laws, which is nothing unusual for the o’great one
