Obama: ‘We Will Not Apologize’ for Bain Attacks

Barack Obama Romney Bain

President Barack Obama said he will not apologize for recent attacks against Mitt Romney and his time at Bain Capital. (AP)

President Barack Obama said Saturday his campaign will not apologize for its attacks accusing Mitt Romney of outsourcing jobs while at Bain Capital, despite the Romney campaign’s insistence that the charges are not true.

“We will not apologize,” Obama told WAVY-TV in an interview set to air Sunday. “Mr. Romney claims he’s Mr. Fix-It for the economy because of his business experience, so I think voters entirely legitimately want to know what is exactly his business experience.”

The Obama campaign has been pointing to discrepancies between Securities and Exchange Commission filings and Romney’s recollection of when he left Bain Capital. Romney has said he left the company in 1999 to head up the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympics, but his name turned up on SEC filings through 2001, coinciding with when Bain sent jobs overseas.

Obama deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter suggested last week Romney could be guilty of a felony for misrepresenting his position with the company.

Both sides continued to traded barbs on the issue Sunday.

“We now know that this president will say or do anything to keep the highest office in the land even if it means demeaning the highest office in the land,” Romney campaign adviser Ed Gillespie saying on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Gillespie said Romney had “retired retroactively to 1999” from Bain, an explanation that prompted a wave of mocking on Twitter.

Cutter echoed Obama’s vow that the campaign would not apologize for its attacks, saying on CBS’ “Face the Nation” that Romney should take some of his own earlier advice for Obama and “stop whining.”

“Instead of whining about what the Obama campaign is saying,” Cutter said, “why don’t you just put the facts out there and let people decide instead of trying to hide them? If he didn’t gain advantages, then show us, show the American people. What is it you’re hiding?”

Watch Obama’s comments below; Bain remarks begin at the 4:00 mark.

Yeah, this creep’s first matter at hand was running around apologizing to
all the tyrants, who wish to do us harm while belittling our most trusted allies.

Now, the Punk-in-charge can’t find an apology in him.

They are betting Romney will refuse to show the records.
Romney needs to learn how to play political poker.
Call Oblameo’s bluff by releasing the records.
Romney did release plenty of them when he was running for the
nomination against McCain…so what’s the big deal now ?

Lay down your cards, Mitt and then, on mainstream media, demand Oblameo
produce all his hidden papers….leave them BOTH twistin’ in the wind.
Pummel him with all the Solyndra & Fast & Furious deals.
      Leave him struggling for air-

If the media edits it out, Romney still holds the trump card-
      the debates.
Hold Oblameo’s feet to the fire under direct questioning & rebuttal
The Bully King ducking the issues produces great campaign fodder.

The administration is doing this to take the heat off the economy,
      take the heat off themselves-
Romney must grab the ball and serve it from his court.

Do it NOW, its time to shake a leg, it’s time to play rough.
He didn’t mind doing it to his opponents during the nomination.
Now, HE’s being poked & jabbed & he wants to come off as Mr. Nice Guy.

      There’s only one objective-
Romney wants OUR vote, WE want Obama OUT-
      THAT is the mission.
FIRE UP the freakin‘ cannon before it’s too late !

Why do you suppose Romney won’t release his tax returns? His Dad, when he was running for President, released twelve year’s worth. Obama has done the same. Romney when he was vetted for McCain‘s VP gave him 23 year’s worth (and McCain picked Palin). If there is nothing to hide, he’d have released them long ago right? Could it be that there is something he doesn’t want to reveal? More information about his offshore tax haven accounts or his involvement in Bain after 1999? Could it be that the tax returns would show how much money he made while driving those companies into bankruptcy, the ones that left suppliers and taxpayers to pick up the tab, while he made millions?

He should just turn over his tax returns. Even Republicans are saying that. Nothing to hide right?

What he has released shows over a 1/4 of his money coming from the outsourcing predator, Bain, something he denies yet I wonder if his tax returns make him to be a future LIAR in chief? I wonder if any of you Blaze Lap Puppies question any of this? I see you‘re frothing at the mouth on Obama’s fund raisers.. yet Koch Brothers hold a 75,000 plate fund raiser and we don’t know who the speakers were there. Why?? It’s a secret. Obama is totally delusional!!! He accuses Romney of outsourcing jobs, which has been PROVEN to be untrue, yet Obama keeps on and on. If he is worried about outsourcing, maybe he should worry abour Jeff Immelt, his so called “Jobs Czar” who has closed GE plants in the USA and shipped those jobs to foreign countries. Of course, he wouldn’t rock the boat of one of his bundlers.

Obama has never worked at a productive job in his life. He never worked at any job where he provided a good or service. He had his college paid for by unknown parties who groomed him in the Communist theory. He lied (Or did he?) about his being a foreigner to obtain a student grant at Occidental College. He attended some of the most high priced universities but never held a job or had a student loan. Who paid the bills? He won’t release his college transcripts or any of his financial data pretaining to college. HE HAD THE SEALED!!!!

After he graduated he became a “Community Organizer” which is nothing but a pariah living off the taxpayer’s dollars. We, the taxpayers, paid him to sit on his a** in a plush office while he organized a communist agenda. Yet, he has the gall to attack Romney, a man who has created many jobs, literally rescued the failing Olympics and has proven to be a leader in the business world.

As I said at the beginning, Obama is delusional. He is living in a pipe dream. He is unstable. His recent speeches show how desperate he is becoming. Stay tuned, watch him melt down

Reality however is simply this….as many of you have correctly observed, this man is no genius, he isn’t even that smart (in a street wise sense), he’s nothing but a smooth talking fraud, a dispassionate detatched self absorbed arrogant human being that has zero idea on how to run a fruit stand , let alone lead a nation. It is time for this miserable commie to slink back off to Chi town (and avoid jail time if he can) and for the Dems/loberlas of this nation to apologize for this disaster…..wishful thinking I know.

Maybe if he and his Obots in the corrupt MSM tell this lie often enough we”ll all believe him. Isn’t that the Alinsky tactics that this guy believed in? You know the “hope and change” he has for America. Turning us into a 3rd World Socialistic country, that is, where he, King of All, will spread our wealth around. Ruled by the globalists who have the Fabian Socialist game down to a tee.

And Hillary Clinton? Well, she’s another grim story to tell. Watch this video and learn all about UN Resolution 1618 and her “greening” of our 1st Amendment. A nightmare that’ll take you a while to wake up from. They’re bigger traitors than even I thought they already were.

One hour after this Bain subject has run its course, there will be another red herring show its ugly head. I am sure they already have it planned. Any bets it will be sometime next week? What will it be in round two? This is actually very smart for obama to talk about anything but jobs and spending, keeping his bases attention away from the true agenda of transforming our great country. What right minded person is going to think that Romney is going to start outsourcing jobs any time soon, or at all for that matter. It’s insulting to anyone with a brain that outsourcing is one of Mitts plans. obama is playing to his base and insulting critical thinkers in one stroke. I‘m disappointment lies in the fact that Romney’s ppl are reacting instead of controlling the dialogue.

      @SOY

ACTUALLY we have the SEC docs and the statements of the other board members from Bain at that time (even the Obama supporters) that PROVE Romney is telling the truth. In the docs themselves it states that his retirement was to be retroactive to ‘99 from ’02 because of his lack of involvement during those years and the fact that he had already sign docs giving up his authority, while still holding the CEO position on paper…stop making false arguments just because you dislike Mitt…it makes you sound like a lefty

Romney will not defeat Obama. PERIOD. I do not see how any of you can even think so. These ads WILL fire up his base, he knows what he is doing, remember, he is good at campaigning, he hasn’t stopped campaigning since he was first elected. Ron Paul supporters will not vote for Romney. The Dems surely will not vote for Romney, The youth, forget them. Independents? Maybe, just maybe, 40% of them, the rest are Paul supporters or afraid of Romney. The GOP has shown again that they do not follow their own party beliefs by putting up a candidate that surely could run as a Blue Dog Democrat. But that is to be expected as the Republican and Democrat Parties have become basically the same.
It will be your, and my party (as I have been a Republican for 36 years), that will blow our attempts at getting back to a sound government.

However, even with all the liberal spin surrounding the “wipe Israel off the map” quote, the EXACT translation is “this Regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time”

      http://www.mohammadmossadegh.com/news/rumor-of-the-century/
(this is a hard left, Islamic source claiming that to be the 100% accurate quotation)

Everything Obama says is a lie, but even if what he is saying was true, there would be nothing illegal about it, so who cares? If jobs WERE outsourced that only means that it is too difficult to make a profit in America! Romney understands that this is due to over-regulation and over-taxation, therefore, this is WHY he wants to fix the system! DUH! However, Obama has been outsourcing our TAX DOLLARS to Brazil, Africa and failed green energy companies like Solyndra! Which is worse?
Regarding Romney’s name as CEO of Bain on an SEC report: The SEC forced Bain to list a CEO even if there wasn’t one, therefore, Bain was damned if they did, and damned if they didn’t due to a bureacratic regulation that had zero common sense. Now a bureaucratic B.S. artist wants to hang Romney with bureacratic B.S. Wow!

Where exaclty was the Romney camp and the RNC during the last election, and during the Dem primary bwtween Obama and Hillary? They act like they’ve never seen this type of campaign before! It makes me sick. Obama won both of those races by keeping the opponent on the defensive, and Romney/RNC are falling right into the same trap.

The GOP is not trying to win this thing – just like in 2008, they are doing everything they can not to lose. Unless the GOP does a 180 real soon, and starts to be agressive on any one of a dozen issues they could exploit, they are handing this election to Obama on a silver platter once again.
