Obama: ‘We’ve Been Spending the Last Three Years Cleaning‘ Up Bush’s Mess

When asked what he would say to the African American community now disappointed in him over what many perceive are failed policies, but who, nonetheless, may still support him, President Barack Obama stated:
“The reason they still support me is because they understand what an incredible mess had been made as I was coming into office and we’ve been spending the last three years cleaning it up. The good news is that the economy is starting to strengthen. We’ve seen some positive signs. The unemployment rate has ticked down.”

NO….YOU’VE SPENT THE LAST 3 YEARS FINISHING SCREWING UP EVERYTHING THAT YOUR FELLOW DEMOCRATS STARTED IN 2006, SPENDING 5 TRILLION DOLLARS ON STUPID STUFF LIKE SYLINDRA! WHEN THE DEMD TOOK CONTROL OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND THE SENATE UNDER GEORGE W BUSH! THAT WAS 2 YEARS BEFORE THE MELTDOWN. DO you THINK THERE MIGHT HAVE BEEN SOME PLOTTING TO MAKE TO NEXT GOP CANDIDATE LOOK BAD IN THE 2008 ELECTION. OBAMA was elected by a majority of Americans who can be easily swayed by anyone, instead of doing their own research on someones record; they are herded like sheep. Most Americans are sheep just being lead by different leaders. It erks me to see how some people who even claim to no have any interest in herding the GOP sheep….herd the GOP sheep in a sneaky way! NO ROMNEY!

This was caused by the people that can’t make up their mind on what party they belong. My kids talked me into voting for Obama. I thought I learned my lesson on Jimmy Carter. I thought that with the UAW backing him we would get 4 more years of Carter. Half of Detroit was layed off and a good deal on a new car was 17%. Intrest rates on credit cards was 21% where that was the max. Me + Wife + 3 sons + 3 daughter in-laws won’t be fooled again – he has touched us all.

And for the record, the real mess didn’t start until early 2007, when, if I recall correctly, the Democrats took control of both the Senate and the House with their commensurate power to write and pass bills. Do a Google of government spending and debt from 2006 until 2010 and prepare to be enlightened.

Posted on December 11, 2011 at 1:11pmA lot of the problems go back to Clinton/Gingrich. The repeal of the Glass/Stegell Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, among a few allowed for the improper spending and lending to continue. The claim of balancing the budget included money taken from the social security trust fund so the budget was never balanced. Just another way to lie to us. Then you could go to Carter with his Dept’s of Education and Energy and the Community Development Act, The original cause for bad housing loans. Bush did some damage but he was trying to fix social security and could get no support from anybody. Obama has done nothing but fan the flames. That this guy ever got elected is stunning.

Report Post »Ds blame Rs, Rs blame Ds. Nothing new under the sun here. This blame game will become more raucous as the 2012 election cycle ramps up. And zombies on both sides will continue to embrace & defend the establishment talking heads of their team. E.g., it’s always entertaining to see a TSA story on The Blaze. The TSA is 100% a George W. construct. Deal with it.
There need to be some fundamental changes on how we perceive the role of govt. in this country… or we will continue to be the authors of our own demise. R or D, too damn many of you see Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security as suicide pacts. It does not matter who is in charge as long as our own greed & cowardice guide our political views. We are at a point in our history where 1.2 billion dollars disappears and the defense is “Oops.” This kind of garbage can only happen in a system that is set up to defend greed & power.
We rant & rave about Obama‘s and Holder’s ATF… & Bush’s administration let the ATF engage in the same damn brand of nonsense.
I’m all for Obama hitting the road. He had his chance & his answer is clearly to play the blame game & continue the same programs (for better or worse) of his predecessor… bail outs, expansionism and cronyism. I get it: He’s not a leader, but he is a skilled American politician.
WHERE is the conservative answer to this garbage? It sure as hell is not Romney or Gingrich. This is the best the big R has to offer? Good luck w/that.

It doesn’t have to take that long, if we get the government out of the economy. The malinvestments need to be liquidated before there can be a recovery, which means that people will take a loss on their investments if their money is still being used to fund projects that were started based on artificial credit (artificially low interest rates or newly printed money), but when people are able to make profits without the government trying to intervene is when our recovery will begin.

We all need to start trading with something other than fiat money. This is the only way out.
And our Constitution was written with the abolishment of paper money in mind (Federalist Papers #44), so when the government tries to keep us from doing so, you need to know that it is because they don’t want us to take away their ability to spend without our consent (which is what fiat money allows them to do).

Posted on December 10, 2011 at 1:36amLet’s get the facts straight. President Clinton was responsible for 9-11 even though it happened during the Bush administration. And the worst economic collapse in since the Great Depression happened during the Bush administration, but it was somebody else’s fault. It must have been Barney Frank or Clinton or somebody. And the pointless war in Iraq only happened because of some bad intel. And all the terrorists, including OBL killed during the present administration only happened because Bush violated the Geneva Convention and every standard the US has held since WWII and did the Abu Graib thing.
Let‘s be clear about Bush’s Presidency. Clinton was responsible for 9-11, not Bush. Frank was responsible for the economic crash in 2007, not seven years of Bush. Bush’s trillion dollar invasion of Iraq was a good thing, despite no WMD, but the bad stuff is Obama’s fault, and Bush gets credit for all the terrorists killed in Obama’s administration. Even though Bush diverted all of America’s resources to Iraq rather than Al Quaida, he did the Abu Graib thing.

Posted on December 10, 2011 at 5:48amLook at JZS and all of his cute little “facts”! The attack on the USS Cole happened under Bill Clinton’s watch and he did jack about it,,, George W. Bush was NOT a conservative. He was a fiscal socialist, progressive and no friend to a true conservative. The worst economic collapse since the Great Depression happened after the 2006 sweeping victory for the Democrat party which captured the House of Representatives, the Senate, and a majority of governorships and state legislatures from the Republican Party. And you bet you’re a$$ Bwany Fwank and Chris Dodd had a HUGE part in it! The fastest rise in national debt ever, over $4 trillion SO FAR has happened under Obama… But that of course is Bush’s fault as well, right?
Yes! Iraq was a mistake (Bush=Progressive of the rightwing variety). But, Obama made sure to make up for that by getting us into Libya, Yemen and Uganda (Oh, no. Those aren’t really wars). Let’s not forget the treasonous act of arming Mexican drug cartels with assault rifles.
Let’s be clear. The reason our country is in massive debt and on the brink of collapse is because we have been electing more and more libertarians and constitutionalists over the years and NOT because we have been electing more and more liberal socialists with the same mentality as the sophisticated socialists over in Europe that are ready to crash the EURO…

Yes..a great gig for him but it’s going to be a nightmare for the people who live at the neighborhood that he and his hippo-butt wife and the girls will occupy in Hawaii. They are going to ruin the whole Christmas holiday of an entire neighborhood. Most US Presidents in the past used resident in a military base with a private beach when they visit or vacation in Hawaii. This very very selfish man and his family decide to vacation in a civilian residential neighborhood and make a mess of the Christmas holidays of the people who live there and shut down the beach and the roads for the public at large. I think that this was his wife’s idea and he can not say otherwise. Just like when his wife flew 3 hours ahead of him when they vacationed at Martha’s Vineyard. Let’s just hope that Michelle will wait to go together with him on Air Force One instead of taking her own travelling party a couple of hours ahead.

Posted on December 10, 2011 at 8:24amIt is to bad that alot of people voted for this man without a clue as to who he was and what he stood for, It took me a couple of days to figure him out after doing research. This was a scary person that these people were so crazy about. After watching Reverand Wright I knew so much about this guy that is now our president. I am apalled that there were so many people that fell for this crap. We need to do the right thing and get this guy out and on his way.

Posted on December 9, 2011 at 11:31pmhis actions and take blame for his failed polices… Bush was no saint, I believe that Bush and Berry – on a handout/spending level are one and the same to the extent that Bush was driving us into the ditch in a car, and Berry took the wheel and strapped a few C-130 take off boosters onto that car. It’s been three years, when is he going to admit that he doesn’t have the answers? Someone should find the clips of him owning the current economy and cut for cut show a clip of him blaming Bush… One day the economy is his responsibility and he takes all the blame, the next its all Bush’s. This presidency has done nothing but play constant blame games throughout this presidency on every level from the DOJ to the Dept of Energy. He said that if he did not fix the economy he would be a one-term president. Well he hasn’t fixed it so keep true to your word Berry. I am almost convinced that when he referred to an “equally supplied army” he was referring to the DOJ and now with the new bill out of the senate those fears have been cemented. Some black people still support Berry because of his melanin, plane and simple. I know several black people here in Texas that cannot stand the guy. JUDGE A MAN BY THE CONTENT OF HIS CHARACTER (may I add actions to that as well) AND NOT THE COLOR OF HIS SKIN.

Posted on December 9, 2011 at 11:33pmAnd BTW, as pointed out earlier, the current unemployment numbers only went down because the number of people actively looking for employment went down, thus due to the messed up metric on which “unemployment” is measured artificially makes it look better than it is.

His accomplishments are null…zero, unless you include fooling a ton of PUPPETS in this world. Anyone with sense could see he was a snake-oil salesman. What the shame. His Hope and Change was foretold before he became President…failure. The bigger idiots are those who respect someone just for their position and NOT for earning it. He hasn’t earn anything, and to keep blaming Bush is another example of his worthlessness. NO CLASS. Petty Chicago thug who depends upon the goodness of people to be respectful and nice to take advantage of them. Bernie Madoff has nothing on him. Posted on December 9, 2011 at 11:53pmBush got hammered by the liberal left when the House and the Senate took over as democrats. He didn’t have a chance. It amazes me how folks think a President is in total charge and everything is his fault. Change in subject since this subject is so stupid. Ask your selves how Gingrich pulled off what he managed to do with a hostile environment? Clinton took all the credit for balancing the budget 4 years in a row. Gingrich took him dragging and screaming. And our current President despite having in his first year majorities in the house and the senate couldn‘t even get many democratic leaders to follow Obama’s vision. Things that make you go hmmm. I don’t like everything about Gingrich. But, what I do like is that he tosses up ideas and STATES that if you…being the public don’t like that one…..let’s come up with another one….and then he does. At least Gingrich is offering ideas on many different levels. It’s not hope and change. It’s what do you think America? Let’s move on. The past is behind us. I like that kind of thinking. My Dad who is my hero and also a veteran was not perfect. But, when he had an idea for our family that wasn’t working, he had the unmittingatinaly gall to ask my MOM what she thought. And then as a family we worked it out. Are we an American family anymore? Who wants to be the thoughtfull group and stop socialism and communism from creeping in? Better yet, Shariah law.

However, not every President comes in and mulitplies the problems in his first year in office. Obama is the most pathetic President in modern history.
