Obama’s Global Anti-Terror Forum Excluding Israel Set to Unveil at U.N. Summit

President Obama’s highly-touted Global Counterterrorism Forum will be unveiled next week at the United Nations summit, and there are already troubling signs that the multinational bureaucracy will placate Israel’s opponents and make excuses for pro-terrorist stances among its membership in order to appear multilateral.
Israel– the country in the world under most direct threat from terrorism and with arguably the most expertise in counterterrorism efforts– will not be among the 30 founding countries of the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF).
Among the founding members are the following nations: Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates.
In particular, Turkey will play a large role in the GCTF, as it is scheduled to co-chair the inaugural meeting. It must be noted that Turkey’s relationship with Israel has been under tremendous strain recently, as the Turkish government engages in direct talks with Hamas. In fact, its Prime Minister, Erdogan, defends the terrorist group, and has stated Turkey will send warships alongside the next “aid flotilla” that tries to break the Gaza blockade.
Despite some questionable membership, the U.S. State Department’s website touts the GCTF mission as providing a:
“needed venue for national CT officials and practitioners to meet with their counterparts from key countries in different regions to share CT experiences, expertise, strategies, capacity needs, and capacity-building programs. The GCTF will prioritize civilian capacity building in areas such as rule of law, border management, and countering violent extremism.”

Sounds like they have really bought into the O’s “extending the hand of friendship” brand of foreign policy. Meanwhile, China is spreading billions of dollars throughout the world–profit from all the interest money we, the taxpayers. give them. Interesting to remember what the Pakistani Asst Foreign Minister said on his recent visit to Beijing. He was asked the difference between Pakistan’s relationship with China and the U.S. He replied that Pakistan viewed China as an all-weather friend, whereas the U.S. was a fair-weather friend. In non diplomatic speak, China gives money with no strings whereas the U.S. always has strings.

They (for pc purposes) give the benefit of the doubt where there is none. Time is up, are you media hounds (specifically on the right as we know the ones on the left will not) going to start saying it like it is? Glenn did, and still does, and yes, he was duly shoved into a corner. He wasn’t silenced though, he grew bigger and better. So enough with the pundit cowards sitting idly by and debating on what Obama is doing and dancing around the facts. So, even though Israel is understandably (and intelligently) NOT going to take any part in what will likely be yet another meaningless/fraudulent UN charade, if Obama and his election handlers want to be seen by American Jews as anything OTHER than the anti-Israeli hypocrite he and his administration have become, the US representative should remain SILENT until the rest of this group have weighed in on the subject.
If (as is likely) this dubious “forum” becomes nothing more than a collective soap-box to explain away the “cause” of Islamic terrorism as nothing more than the result of Israeli (or American) sins… then the entire Jewish world’s suspicion of what a duplicitous and unfaithful “ally” the Obama administration has become will be obvious. And any friend of Israel/enemy of Islamic terrorism will, too !

Since the Israels Air Force have the best pilots in the region and they buy aircraft from us….what better way to cripple I.A.F. than to make sure no new planes or spare parts are sold/sent to them?
