Obama Responds to Jihad: It Has a Lot of Different ‘Meanings’ and ‘Interpretations’

During a question-and-answer session in India Sunday, students continued with their hard-hitting queries of President Obama. This one about his thoughts on Jihad:

Well, the phrase jihad has a lot of meanings within Islam and is subject to a lot of different interpretations. But I will say that, first, Islam is one of the world’s great religions. And more than a billion people who practice Islam, the overwhelming majority view their obligations to their religion as ones that reaffirm peace and justice and fairness and tolerance. I think all of us recognize that this great religion in the hands of a few extremists has been distorted to justify violence towards innocent people that is never justified.
And so I think one of the challenges that we face is how do we isolate those who have these distorted notions of religious war and reaffirm those who see faiths of all sorts — whether you are a Hindu or a Muslim or a Christian or a Jew or any other religion, or your don’t practice a religion — that we can all treat each other with respect and mutual dignity, and that some of the universal principles that Gandhi referred to — that those are what we’re living up to, as we live in a nation or nations that have very diverse religious beliefs.

That’s not entirely true. The Muslim group(s) here in central Ohio were very vocal about condemning Muslim radicalism and violence, just after 9/11 and thereafter. There was no ambiguity in their leader(s) words at the time, as I recall.

Once a majority of them stand up to the terrorists there time will be over and done with. Look what happened in Iraq when the locals got tired of Al Queda in Iraq killing people. He is abroad preaching his false message of peace and religious tolerance (except to the racist christians of course) and then someone assaults our nation, conveinently while he and the secretary of state are out of the nation and the congress is not in session.
Then say, while Pelosi is in her home town, (the third person in line of succession), an attack by a nuclear device levels the place completely for several miles.
Hillary would then be closer to the POTUS position, Pelosi would become a martyr, and Mr Obama would be able to declare it a personal attack upon himself and upon the nation while becoming a true dictator for life.

I don’t recall him ever making a statement as to how good and peaceful Christianity is, but perhaps I simply missed it. Not only does he seem to apologize to the world for being an American, it seems he apologizes for appearing Christian as well.
My turn to apologize. While I did not vote for him, I’m sorry America, that our POTUS embarasses us in front of the entire world every time he opens his mouth.

We know that Obama‘s sole desire is to rule the World and he’s only been prevented from doing so by clever use of the filibuster which now requires a supermajority of 60% to pass any law, such making Obama King for life of the US for example.
But we all know that stifled in that manner, he will create a crisis that allows him to declare martial law, effectively making him an absolute dictator. That is indeed a grim and likely scenario. The first thing the new regime will do is take over the internet service providers and conservative websites, find out they contributers like you and me and somehow they “disappear.” Yeah, sure, like they disappear.
But I don’t see that as the end of America, I see that as the beginning. Since I’ve read the Chronicles of Naria, or maybe it was the Turner Diaries I forget which, I know how this turns out. Patriots form an underground alliance. They’ve hidden their guns, they have money and gold coins stashed, and food and water. They fight back! First the Independents come around. Eventually even liberals are like, “Wow, I didn’t realize Obama was just like Hitler” and even they come around.
Finally, Beck and Palin – who have been in hiding this entire time and not daring to talk to the liberal press – come forth, and claim their destiny.
