Obama’s Last Best Hope: Ryan Seacrest?

In a last-ditch effort to rally his base, President Barack Obama is once again going where no president has gone before — once again utilizing unconventional media to get his message out. He’s done “The View,” he’s done the late-night comedy stint and chatted with kiddies on MTV. Now, President Obama will sit down for a one-on-one with one of Hollywood’s most well-known gossipers, American Idol and E! News co-host Ryan Seacrest. HuffPo reports:
The administration’s last-minute push to turn out the vote is spurring some unconventional media outreach efforts. But none of them have been quite as unlikely as that announced on Monday — President Obama will be doing an interview with Ryan Seacrest.
The “American Idol” co-host will be talking to Obama on Election Day for a segment on his radio show, ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest.’…
What, exactly, the point is of doing an interview that will air predominantly in a state that seems to be the one Democratic holdout — and that caters to an audience of not particularly politically-active listeners — is unclear. But the gist seems to be that, in the 11th hour, no stone should be left unturned. Seacrests interview, a source notes, will be broadcast on other stations in addition across the country.
What’s next?
Update: Fox News’ Megyn Kelly and former White House press secretary Dana Perino react…

Posted on November 1, 2010 at 6:53pmHe proves time and time again that he is nothing more than a low-level fundraiser, albeit a Soros lackey sort of one. He absolutely diminishes the office of President and is an embarrassment to our nation.
On a humorous, pathetic note, I saw a car in a parking lot earlier today smeared with Obama, Jerry Brown and leftist stickers. It belonged to an older, hippie-type lady. I wanted to ask her if her car had been vandalized while she was shopping….

Posted on November 1, 2010 at 6:42pmThe pathetic levels one will stoop to, to regain a once lost stardom, as Barack Obama attempts to regain his American Idol status by allowing himself to be interviewed by a TV barker Ryan Seacrest of the once famous now trying ‘American Idol’ TV entertainment show.
Report Post »Actually wasn’t Barack Obama one of their past winners, oh that‘s right the media of the day in Obama’s race to the White House, claimed he was America‘s new ’American Idol.‘ I guess it went to his head and he’s still looking for his lost crown the clown.

How about getting your lazy ass to work!
I swear, we should have a rule that acting Presidents and their immediate staff should not have the luxury of such things. It’s only a 4-8 year hitch doing the most important job in the country. It should require 24/7 dedication and we should enforce it.

Absolutely not cheesewiz,
Our leadership should be held to a totally different standard than any of those commie libs. We all know sarah resigned her post as governor of alaska so she could save the country from the commies with her work on reality TV.
It would be different if she appeared on news shows slamming politicians who actually stuck it out through tough times instead of taking the easy way out and quitting.

Report Post »Ateast Gov Palin had the decency and honesty to do whatever she could to NOT be a parasite and suck taxpayer money like a leech, because Hussain’s people were relentless in attacking her and her family.
Atleast she showed more class than the tranny -in-transition who had to unseal the divorce records of his political rival just to get elected as senator from ILL.
Who are we to judge how the Palins financially support their famly ?
I have yet to find any report of Sarah Palin diverting US taxpayer money to install a maniac like Sharia Odinga in Kenya while taking a paycheck from the US taxpayers for holding a public office .
What is more shameful –
a presidential nominee shakng his ( shrivelled) bootay on Ellen’s show
or
a private citizen showcasing the natural beauty and resources of her state in a documentary ?

Posted on November 1, 2010 at 8:19pmHouse, clearly your question is rhetorical.
It truly is astounding. The president seeks only venues that are least likely to have mature, serious citizens in audience. He doesn’t dare show his face anywhere that serious policy debate would be expected, this way he’s the most mature person in the room, rather than the other way around. Obama is a manchild, so the line up of appearances makes perfect sense.

No one stands up, no one has the balls to sit them down and say: look just cut the s— But everybody works for them, they’re all on the payroll, they’re all sucking the t—. Nobody sits them down, eye to eye, one on one, and says cut the s—.

Posted on November 1, 2010 at 10:03pmTBP – Sarah Palin is doing what we like to call “Earning a living” – it involves actually doing something someone else values, and then getting them to pay you for doing it. And, by the way, by agreeing to appear in what you term a “Reality Show” – I think it is more a travel show, but whatever – she actually created more real private sector jobs than this President has since he took office.
The Left’s obsession with Sarah Palin is really remarkable – it far exceeds anything i’ve seen on the right… Is the left afraid of her or are they just picking on her because they can? Either way, it doesn’t reflect well on the Left IMHO.
