Obama is an incompetent liar pursuing an agenda that most Americans strongly disagree with.
1) The stimulus bill was both incompetent and a lie. It was and example of incompetence because Obama let it be written by the most liberal members of his party as the largest handout ever. A handout that we are all going to have to pay for. Borrowing $800T means that we the taxpayers have to pay interest of $24B a year FOREVER. It was a lie because it was sold as stimulus that was supposed to fix the economy. It was not stimulus, it was a gift to unionized government employees who took the money and will contribute money back to liberal politician (can you spell money laundering).
2) ObamaCare is an example of all three issues. It is a lie on so many levels (if you like your insurance you can keep it, premiums will go down). It is incompetent to believe that a few regulators in Washington can direct one of the largest and most important industries in our country. And it is the opposite of what people want. People understand that the more government gets involved in our health care the more expensive and inflexible it will become. The recent mandates are a great example. Now yearly checkups are “free” (no co-pays) because ObamaCare mandated it. Well who is going to pay for that, the tooth fairy. How all of us have to pay for a benefit that no one asked for. The same is true to no lifetime limits on policy benefits. Both of these provisions are just going to make insurance more expensive.
3) The business hostile, government first attitude on the part of the entire administration and the Democratic leadership in the House and Senate. They are just completely clueless as to how new businesses and new jobs get created in this country. They get created by private business people taking the risks to create new businesses and create new jobs. Obama/Pelosi/Reid have done nothing except make this harder for the business community and no wonder unemployment is high.
I have always wondered what would happen if the liberals every got enough power to implement their real agenda. Now we know. Have the government take over the economy, destroy our free enterprise system, anger our friends, coddle our enemies and give up on the idea of America as the exceptional beacon of freedom and economic growth in the world.
The Democrats have fully earned what they are going to get on Nov. 2nd. I only hope the Republicans have learned their lessons and will have the backbone and the courage to reverse the damage of these last two years and restore us to a path of growth and prosperity.
