Obama’s Re-Election Team May Be Digging Up Dirt on Chris Christie

Chris Christie has repeatedly stated that he won’t be seeking the presidency in 2012, yet the Obama administration is allegedly digging deep to find dirt on the New Jersey governor.

The New York Post claims that “Obama’s operatives” are assembling information that could be used to damage Christie’s image in the event that he does, indeed, challenge the president next year. The Post reports that campaign officials have been attempting to keep this covert operation under wraps:

The operatives have chosen not to dispatch their own people to New Jersey, but instead are talking to people there and in New York who know Christie from his time in the governor’s office, as a gubernatorial candidate and as US attorney.

Obamas Re Election Team May Be Digging Up Dirt on Chris Christie

While some GOP insiders insist that Christie may consider running, he continues to vehemently deny any and all rumors. Recently, he said, “Short of suicide, I don‘t really know what I’d have to do to convince you people that I’m not running. I’m not running.”

FOX News has more:

An Obama 2012 campaign source told Fox News that the campaign is not involved in efforts described in a New York Post story published Monday that says Obama operatives are “compiling a dossier” of material that could be used to damage Christie if he does a 180-degree shift and decides to run for president…

The source with the 2012 Obama campaign did not deny that the New Jersey Democratic Party or others loyal to the president may be doing some digging. That conforms with the Post‘s report that locals familiar with Christie’s work in the governor’s office and as a former U.S. attorney are doing the heavy lifting.

This morning, FOX & Friends tackled this issue (watch below):

Whether or not Christie runs, the Obama campaign clearly views him as formidable enough to begin creating a smear campaign (or, at the least, assembling the information needed to do so). Christie is already a rising star in the GOP. This alleged move by Obama’s operatives may further solidify his elevated stance within Republican circles.

Christi has one simple trait over almost all other politicians out there; He is fearless, and will say what he believes, and most thinking people think.. He just stands up and dares his opponents to refute him, and they don’t, because they can’t, and he won’t cower down.. He’s not 100% right, but by God he has chutzpa in spades and we don’t see that in conservative politicians these days.. Republicans can’t get anywhere apologizing for being right all the time.. Prog libs will never apologize even when it’s proven their policies are a one way ticket to misery..

Guess he’s waiting for us to put our literal survival before government so we look the other way. Or look to be looking the other way. The obamabots made sure during the last election and continuing thru today that the ignorant among us are so turned against her there is no way she can carry the country. it is indeed a shame however i know she will continue to make the most of each and every opportunity the idiots in dc give her. i am a 62-yr old woman, old fashioned enough to believe that we do not need a woman in the white house just to balance the books, now that we’ve had a black (well, make that half black and all red communist). i believe we need someone as strong as Sarah, as committed as Chris Christie, as business-minded as Herman Cain, and as grounded in God as Glenn Beck. Do you know where we can get such a candidate?! There is someone out there, we just need to find them.

Sorry for the long delay in responding; hope you check back here. If not, for the benefit of anyone reading this later, here’s why I say that.

The American electorate looks for certain types of experience in presidential candidates. Among those are experience as governor and experience as president. Although Mr. Christie will have 3 years as governor by the time election day arrives it won’t be enough to defeat Obama.

Now that I’ve written that, I need to correct myself. Like Mrs. Palin, who I mention further down this page, Mr. Christie could defeat Obama if he chooses his running mate wisely.

      Let me tell you something.
Again the Blaze prints a story that is even less than an opinion.
At best it can be classified as an alternative reality.
      A fantasy that doesn’t exist.

The National Enquirer is more reliable than the New York Post.

I completely disagree that he is a pimp, that would mean he is a capitalist, which we know he isn’t.

Obama’s team is solidly behind their man as they gear up to win re-election while conservatives entertain themselves with clowns like the Donald and RINOs like Newt. The RNC appears confused and unfocused on the need to pick and back a winner and worse, conservatism is not their forte.

Gee, “digging up dirt.” That sounds really bad and unethical. Would that be like Trump sending investigators to Hawaii to prove that President Obama really isn’t a citizen? And saying his investigators have already found things that will shock the nation? Is that like saying Obama is loafing at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner and refusing to do his real job? (oops, Osama was killed the next day). Is that like saying the First Lady is fat, which so many of you are so fond of doing? Is that like FOX “news” criticizing every single action of the standing President and every single statement he makes?

Is that saying the President is setting up FEMA camps to inter Tea Party members? Is that repeating unnamed right wing bloggers saying the there was a military coup in the US when the President Obama didn’t want to kill OBL and the military did it anyway? It that what you people post here, and tell your friends and family every single day? Is that what digging up dirt is?

He may very well be, but Christie is NOT who we want——–immigration is NOT his conservative issue.

Well if that is the case then the kid gloves come off and ALL bets are off ,obama.. We have a hell of a whole lot of dirt on you than you could ever imagine and I say, any candidate that runs from this point on, has every right to tell ALL about obama with no hold backs.. This is going to be fun since obama is bringing this up…
