Obama’s Truth Teams: ‘Fight Back, Report an Attack’

Back in February, The Blaze reported on Obama’s “Truth Teams,” described on the official site as “a network of [President Obama's] supporters who are committed to responding to unfounded attacks and defending the President’s record.”
“When you’re faced with someone who misrepresents the truth, you can find all the facts you need right here—along with ways to share the message with whoever needs to hear it,” the site continues.

However, after consistent ridicule (particularly over the “Attack Watch” section of the site), the Truth Teams started flying lower on the political radar.
Now, it seems, they are re-joining the fray.

According to ABC’s Jake Tapper, Barack Obama’s deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter is inviting supporters over email to “report an attack” at the Truth Team’s “Fight Back: Report an Attack” page.
“Received a robo-call or an email forward full of falsehoods? Found a misleading leaflet in your mail?” it asks.
“Tell us about it, and help fight back against the attacks on President Obama and his record.”
Aside from the hypocrisy of the Obama campaign saying things like, “fight back” and “attack” after ceaselessly criticizing Sarah Palin for almost identical language, Jake Tapper is reporting that the email “conflates smears with criticisms” by citing a largely debunked study at the outset.
The study, by Market Watch, essentially claims that Barack Obama is not the big spender everyone believes him to be, telling readers “it didn’t happen.”

Tapper writes:
Here’s the problem: the Market Watch [study] has been refuted by several fact checkers as severely flawed, notwithstanding its citation by White House press secretary Jay Carney…
The Washington Post’s Fact Checker gave Carney three Pinocchios, writing that the “data in the article are flawed, and the analysis lacks context — context that could easily could be found in the budget documents released by the White House.”
The Associated Press came to a similar conclusion…
In Tapper’s estimation, then, the White House is “muddying the waters” between criticism and actual falsehoods in citing this particular study as an “attack,” when independent sources have proven that it is simply not true.
Saying that Obama is a big spender is not an “attack;” it is simply stating the facts.
More than that, when combined with Obama’s record of “naming and shaming” Romney donors, a site encouraging people to “report” Americans who disagree with the administration seems more and more like a thinly-veiled attempt to quiet the opposition.
Perhaps signaling another flood of sarcastic conservative criticism, one tweeter commented: “[A] thought on Attack Watch 2.0. The President’s job is to protect free speech, not control it.”

This is quick lesson on the Internet. When you go to a website your WAN (Wide Area Network) IP (Internet Protocol) address shows up on tracking software. This address used to change but doesn’t now with the ISP (Internet Service Provider) bundled packages that include a VoIP (Voice over IP) telephone. The WAN IP needs to stay the same so the telephone will work. Nowadays, most all ISP WAN IP address are static (do not change).
To find your WAN IP address go to; http://www.whatismyip.com/
When you go to Google or Facebook your WAN IP is known. The CEO of Google is in the White House and the WH’s Robert Gibbs is at Facebook. If you go to the WH‘s website your WAN IP is recorded and can be compared with Google and Facebook’s (along with a bunch of other websites) to find out who you are. Websites that promise to anonomize you do not work ONCE you connect to websites like whitehouse.org and other Gov websites.
My advice is not to play around on the WH website or any Gov website. If you think you are protected, try using your “protection” and re-check your WAN IP address with http://www.whatismyip.com or http://www.ipchicken.com

I hate to say it, because the comparison comes up so much it’s getting redundant, but the last time a government engaged in this kind of wholesale personalized aggression against it’s people was in Germany. That didn’t go so well. Hopefully the people in the US today are in a better place to see what is really going on.

GOD gives Truth… Truth & Meaning… are about Religion & Philosophy… where you adhere to the one that fits your Beliefs (this is not Subjective). Science is about Facts that provide Evidence for the Formulation of a Consistant Result… which is Subjective, until Totally Reproducible!
Because you Mix unrelated Subjects, your Logic is in Err… which allows to accept that Obama can act alike a God and give Truth… and Truth is Debatable! Truth is Absolute, and you either Absolutely Agree or Disagree upon a stated Truth! Truth has nothing to do with a Lie… for a Lie is Misrepresentation of Facts or Evidence!

Let’s not get religious here. I was speaking of semantics. Truth is what we believe by consensus to be true i.e. the world is flat – the sun is the center of the universe, which is true until proven false. Facts are what is scientifically provable and re-creatable. Often the latter disproving the former. If you start bringing the Truth with a capital “T” into this, then you leave the arena of my comment, which is politics.

With only maj support in the house and not in the Senate there isn’t much the Repubs can accomplish right now without heavy compromise. WE the people have to deliver a majority into the hands of the Repubs this fall and do it in a convincing, make no mistake this IS a real mandate type landslide. The Senate and House must have super majorities and a Repub in the WH in order to even begin to unravel the mess left behind.

Romney will run circles around the “great one” in such a forum but I highly doubt his handlers would allow such to happen. Never the less as Newt said Romney and the RNC should relentlessly push Obama into such a showdown. I believe they can be persuaded to do it if the RNC/Romney’s team handles it properly. He can be goaded or shamed into it without much effort. At any rate Romney should refuse to participate in a debate where the WH Admin sets all the rules and conditions.
