Ten protesters were arrested Wednesday outside GOP presidential hopeful Mitt Romney’s Des Moines, Iowa campaign offices and a nearby Wells Fargo bank branch, the Des Moines Register reported.

The protesters, all of whom were affiliated with the Occupy Des Moines movement, demanded Romney and Wells Fargo release their tax returns and that Romney return campaign contributions from the bank and bank employees, the newspaper said.

The doors to Romney’s office were locked by the time about 50 or so protesters arrived Wednesday afternoon, according to the New York Times. Protesters banged on the glass windows and demanded they be let inside. They shouted anti-Romney chants and sang songs about corporate greed.

The protesters said they were targeting Romney and Wells Fargo because of their corporate ties, the Register reported.

Police arrested seven protesters at the campaign offices. After police showed up, the remaining demonstrators marched toward the nearby bank branch where three more were subsequently arrested on trespassing charges.

“Our questions have gone unanswered,” one protester shouted as police led her away from Romney’s office. “This is not democracy. This is hypocrisy.”

“We don’t think either one of them pays their fair share of taxes,” another demonstrator said.

Romney said Wednesday he has no plans to release his income tax returns. Wells Fargo said in a statement to the Des Moines Register neither its company nor its political action committee contribute to presidential campaigns. Bank employees are not reimbursed for the personal political campaign contributions, a spokesperson said.

The demonstrations mark the first activities of the so-called “People’s Caucus.” Hundreds of Occupy protesters are expected to gather in Iowa leading up to the state’s Jan. 3 contest.

These, “Useful Idiots”, are an absolutely pathetic joke. I can’t stop laughing. I’ve always known the Democrat party was a conglomerate mass of disgusting, anti-American, filth-riden reprobates but I never thought they would actually come out of their closets with such fervor. I guess Obama brings out the best in them at the behest of his puppet-master, George Soros. And to put icing on the cake, the morons in the Whitehouse and all the way down to the DNC actually believe it’s helping their cause.
Well guess what, you imbeciles, we’re Americans, not a bunch of 3rd world peons who’ll bend over for every tin-horn dictator who comes our way.
      Please continue your, “Occupy”, joke.
The louder you pinheads get, the greater you solidify, “We the Peoples”, resolve to flush you down the toilet in the 2012 elections.
We’ll weed out the R.I.N.O.s in the primaries and the Dems in the general.
      AMEN!!!

There MUST be some FEC laws that prohibit interfering with elections and/or campaigns.
If so, they are FEDERAL LAWS. Which means PRISON, not just overnight in the local hoosegow!

We need to look into this and DEMAND THE LAWS BE ENFORCED !

Ending exploitation in any form and seeking solution of social, cultural, economic and political problems through Gandhian principles and constructive programs.
Demonstrating innovative work in social organizations with a view to promoting Gandhian values of purity of means and ends by awakening moral conscience, fostering community, self-reliance and bringing about harmony of human life with nature.”

Ah! You are on to something there. One reason the OWS crowd is having problems is that they try to operate as a democracy…, which is to say, mob rule. They can’t make any headway because there are no responsible people actually taking care of business (however they might define that). It is informative to search out their websites and read the minutes of their “General Assemblies”.

Mitt will lose the general election. There is no difference between him and Oba. If Mitt wins with 25% of the vote that will be equivalent to how Oba won. Mitt is clueless. Listen to him. Totally clueless and 100% bought off by wallstreet just like Oba is. He will get us into more wars, like Oba. He will go along with rules by the EPA like Oba and George Bush did. He will not stop the spending. He will increase spending. He will rubber stamp whatever the Supreme court says and his selections will probably end up being liberal. He will fight the conservatives tooth and nail behind the scenes. His presidency will be one long vacation like Oba. Those positions he got in wallstreet were gifts to set him up to run for president, just like George Bush was given a gift to head an oil company. Romney is the definition of the reason why there is class warfare. Everything he got was given to him, like his birthright.

Someone a couple of weeks or so ago put a link on The Blaze to an article on the breakdown of where candidates were getting support. What was interesting about this breakdown was it showed what percent of donations were from individuals. Most were getting atleast 40% from individual contributions and the total amounts raised. Most had raised under 15 Million so far. Only one stood out for how different he was and this tells me all I need to know about his candidacy and who is backing him. 1 candidate had only 1% of all his funds for his campaign coming from individual contributions. I repeat that so it soaks in 1% – that’s the total of grassroots support – all other funding was from the likes of Goldman Sachs etc, that candidate has raised over 32 Million. I was shocked when I saw that breakdown hopefully whichever Blazer put it up will post that link the the break down of where the funds come from again. It is obvious that the power brokers are trying to shove Mitt down our throats and I am choaking on the idea and his arrogance over non-transparency on his tax returns just furthers the gagging effect.
