‘Occupy the Super Bowl’ Protesters Invade Indianapolis

Occupy the Super Bowl Protesters Invade Indianapolis

(AP)Protesters of a divisive labor measure have marched through the packed Super Bowl Village in downtown Indianapolis.

A mix of union members and Occupy protesters from across Indiana led a rally Saturday that began at the Statehouse before weaving through the crowded pre-game attraction. Speakers at the rally included two state representatives, a state senator and several union workers.

Indianapolis Education Association President Ann Wilkins told the crowd of about 75 protesters to remember which legislators voted for the right-to-work bill and vote them out in the November elections.

During the march on the Village, protesters chanted “Occupy the Super Bowl.” Organizers of Saturday’s event say that if Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels does sign the bill into law this week, the protests will likely continue.

    Which Union(s)?

Given the UAW positions I bought an Elantra… made in Georgia with non-UAW workers. We need to keep track of which Unions are supporting which causes.

Why support them by purchasing their goods if they take some of those dollars and use it to beat us at the polls, or hire thugs to beat us at rally’s? Only one in ten are union members, only one in ten of those got to vote for the union. However, we cannot vote out the UAW or SEIU leaders, only they can. Screw em.

“Trade unions are the schools of communism” Lenin

We should all pay close attention to who is involved in this, and any other Occupy ‘protests’ in the lead up to the election. SEIU has already advertised positions for people with experience occupying government buildings and banks. Banks should be ready with extra security.

Even though I can’t stand these brainless dopes, this will give the exposure that WE need. Society is fed up with these morons and when they disrupt something of this magnitude the frustration with these dopes will spill over into complete intolerance. Good job occupiers, as the Bible says in Proverbs 17:28 “Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.”

The Occupier in Chief is just waiting for a violent outburst, especially from those drunk, racist, red-neck Tea Partyers, in order to restore order, even if that means suspending the Constitution and imposing martial law. “Peace and safety” comes at a price, you know….

SageInWaiting, Just where did you learn that Tea Party adherents- or “Tea Partyers” as you call them, are “drunk, racist, redneck[s]” prone to violence? Some SEIU handout? In case you haven’t noticed there has only been one reported incident of violence at any function of the Tea Party movement, and that was the beating of a ‘Tea Partyer’ (who happened to be black) by SEIU union thugs!

As to the “Occupier in Chief”, you are correct that he would like nothing better than to have a violent incident- or series of violent incidents- regardless of who causes it, so that he can further impose his ‘benevolent’ control on our country. Too bad you felt obliged to insult the Tea Party movement to make your point!

I can’t imagine where you received your information. As a former resident and weekly visitor to Manhattan I’ve had many opportunities to compare the union, communist worker party aka SEIU
and others of that ilk egg OWS rowdys to mayhem at every turn. Tea Party people are plain ordinary citzens fed up with the activities of the aforementioned. I’ve both observed and attended such functions and never have I ever seen disrespect to any person there. No rapes, no theft, no urinating and defecating in public, no antisemitism, or destruction of property which are the hallmark of Obama’s Alinsky darlings. The party line was old when my parents heard it and at 72 I can vouch having listened to it spewed forth from every far left organization, its stale. The good thing about
the tea party is we are not likely to see you. There is nothing wrong with a red neck . They served their country as I did when others minced off to Sweden and Canada. Get informed. Hate is never
      a good persuader.

They haven’t been accepted. I work by the state house, and the OWS protesters over the last few months have consisted of a handful of people, if even that much. Some days there were only one or two people out there, looking like nutjobs. During the recent protests with union workers rallying against the right to work legislation, they were bringing in bus loads of union members from Illinois. Indianapolis doesn’t support these morons.

If I was at that game and they messed with me and my friends on the way in, we’d equally if not more mess em up on the way out after 4 hours of partying you can bet if they were still there. I wouldn’t miss the game for those slime, but afterwords is a different story, as if they stepped in our world on the way outta the place, the fun would continue…… on their freaking empty drug fogged heads, that is.

I wish you were right, but actually the Occupy thing is just beginning for 2012.

They have started in Oakland and San Francisco already. And they are waiting for better weather to spread it all over the country. They are planning “Guerilla” style attacks on Banks, Malls, the conventions, the election and highways. Hit, disrupt, and then run before the authorities are able to react.

Go to Adbusters and read what is coming. And note that the Teamsters, SEIU and the Worldwide AFL/CIO Are as well investing in this.

It’s going to be a long hot summer.

Got a question, has anyone wondered how long the insanity of the #Occupy bands will last until people of the left (as arranged by Obama) call for the President to ‘stop the violence and madness of the Occupy movment and the Tea party’ as the two are more and more being linked by the propaganda of the media and democrats?

Mind you I know the Tea Party stands for a complete difference of ideology than the useful idiots of the Occupy bands.

Libs and their union henchmen have adopted the Occupy Movement as their own. I would like to point out to them that if you lie down with dogs, you will wake up with fleas. Nothing good will come from a movement that espouses violence and rage to make their point. The libs forget that they are in the minority in this country statistically. Morally and socially offending the greater majority will not gain them any victory. Instead they will gain the scorn of decent Americans who are appalled by the thuggery and selfishness displayed by these Occupiers.
