Officer Killed: Six Shot Near Baltimore Nightclub

BALTIMORE (AP) — Authorities say 1 Baltimore police officer has died and also another man after shooting erupted near a downtown nightclub follwoing reports of a fight.

Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says the 33-year-old officer and the man died after being shot early Sunday.

Guglielmi declined to immediately identify the victims by name. He says a second officer was injured with a shot to one leg and three women were also injured. He had no reports on their conditions.

He says officers were called to a downtown club after a report of a large fight and summoned additional officers. He says some officers fired weapons and investigators are trying to determine whether there was any civilian gunfire.

Guglielmi says no arrests have been made but dozens of people are being questioned.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Authorities say six people have been shot and injured, including two police officers, near a Baltimore nightclub after reports of a large fight.

Baltimore police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says an officer was in critical condition and one of the four civilians also appeared to have severe injuries after the shooting occurred after 1:15 a.m. Sunday.

Guglielmi told The Associated Press that several officers were called to a report of fighting at the downtown establishment Club Select that subsequently spilled outside.

He says no immediate arrests were made. Guglielmi says at least some officers fired weapons, but details were sketchy and several people were being questioned.

He did not immediately identify the officers and others shot.

    Go to any new paper site of a big city and read the crime report or obits and you will see where the scum of the earth live. I read Chicago and Detroit and few people die of old age there, it’s young men and some times women that have been gunned down. They kill each other with out thought of consequence! It is mind blowing to just read and see what really goes on. It never hits the MSM, perhaps the local papers but it is horrific in the big cities.

    I feel sorry for the Police that have to go into those areas…It’s close to a death wish!

    I think it maybe time to disarm the deomcrat, welfare masses… They can’t be trusted to own firearms, they are just too violent. Just look at every democrat held inner city. They are rife with crime and murder. EVERY single blue state and city is a third world country. They pay no taxes and yet they consume the majority of services. They contribute nothing and take everything. They fill your prisons and hospitals and demand more services and entitlements.     Baltimore is such a bucket of filth… Most of the population is on welfare and gov’t assistance. They also have incredibly tough gun laws, and yet people get capped there every freaking two minutes. So much for gun laws cutting crime. When are people going to realize it’s not guns, it democrat losers that commit violent crim by almost a 10 to 1 margin. It’s time people start pointing this FACT out.     When you have to take a weapon to a bar, you shouldn’t be going to that bar. The problem is that people when drinking tend to get 10ft tall and bullet proof. That is until the bullets start penetrating them. My prayers go out to the people that were injured and killed. Life is way to short as it is.

      This is just a feeling on my part – we have had the two seperate events in AZ, the mall shooting last week and the house member this week. So, there appears to be a heightened awareness among the nation over anything happening with crooks, guns, and people sadly getting killed.

      I just pray we do not have a rash of copy cat killings or attempted killings.

      Just give the news cycle 24 hours or so…if there is anyway possible the liberal progressives will find some reason to accuse the Right. Chaos by design don’t you know.

      You know the process. The liberal progressives throw accusations out there regardless if they are based on facts or not. They know there are enough SHEEPLE out there that will believe them AND WHO want to be something to be true. That way their actions against the Right are then justified. Afterwards, it there accusations are proven false, the reporting dies down but the objective has already “ACHIEVED”. The whole process feeds upon itself. Not a good scenario.
