Official: Iran ‘Ready and Willing to Wipe Israel Off the Map’

Amid increasing warnings that Israel is preparing a strike against Iran’s nuclear facilities, an Iranian official vowed flatly that any such attack would result in Israel being wiped “off the map.”

“Any act by the Zionist regime against Iran will bring about its destruction,” Deputy Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi said Friday according to Ynet News.

Vahidi’s comments come after a U.N. atomic agency report released Friday that Iran has increased production of higher-grade enriched uranium, and follow similar remarks made earlier this week that if Iran feels threatened by any of its enemies, it won’t hesitate to launch a preemptive strike.

Speaking at a ceremony honoring past Hezbollah leaders, Vahidi said the terrorist organization is “at the forefront of the fight against Israel and it is growing stronger by the day.”

“Israel is weaker than it has ever been and its army is tired and humiliated,” he said. “This is why it is trying to solve its problems by talking about taking action against Iran. But these are ridiculous statements.”

“Iran’s warriors are ready and willing to wipe Israel off the map,” Vahidi said.

Yes, seems Iran’s government would love to push Israel into making the first move toward war. Then they could say, “See? We told you. We’re the innocent little lambs. It’s that big mean Israel that wants to destroy us – NOT the other way around! We’re just the little innocent bystanders here, minding our own business. . .”

The thing is, it is mind boggling that some people actually believe their LIES!

They have SAID they WANT to blow Israel off the map. They say they are READY to do so.

Well, I believe Israel is ready to defend herself if she needs to do so. Would be nice if she had our support, but she won’t need it.

I agree with you, JUSTPEACHY, Israel DOESN’T need our help! Israel is a NUCLEAR POWER and has no self-imposed restrictions on the use of that nuclear power as Israel has failed to sign ANY of the myriad nuclear treaties the rest of the nuclear powers have.

So if Israel is afraid of Iran, then let Israel FIGHT Iran and leave US out of it!

The Federation of American Scientists says: “Since 1985, the United States has provided nearly $3 billion in grants annually to Israel. Almost all U.S. bilateral aid to Israel is in the form of military assistance.”

So what EXACTLY has our nearly $100 BILLION to date bought us? Why doesn’t ISRAEL take the fight to IRAN? Isn‘t that for which our taxpayers’ money was spent?

P.S. And just for all you dual-citizenship types that troll here at theBlaze.com as you spy on us miserable goy, why don’t YOU go join the IDF and fight Mahmoud Ahmadinejad if it means so much to you?

Make no mistake Israel is a very potent force on the world stage and every Muslim neighbor nation knows it. If she weren’t, she would already be wiped off the face of the Earth. Only lying Muslim leaders in Iran believe their own drivel. I will cheer greatly the day Israel takes Iran out behind the woodshed even though I know it will start WW III. The way I see it its unavoidable already anyway.

You can bet that Obummer is going to use this whole scenario to his best political advantage. (Remember Rahm’s famous words?) I look for Obummer to jump into the middle of this disaster-in-waiting this summer in order to take the Republicans out of the news for the 4 months leading up to the election. All we will see is pictures of the war interspersed with Obummer re-election ads on TV.

It’s almost unbelievable that it took Ronald Reagan to bring our country back on track to show the world that the U.S.A. is not a push over and a ring kisser. However that sounds it’s my opinion and just that.I do know this, once the fight begins alot more countries than Israel and Iran will be involved. So I say this…pound sand and bring the hot dogs, cause it’s going to be a hot summer………

Yes, that’s true, but there’s another line under that. If we had kept our nose out of their business back in 1953, 1979 wouldn’t have happened and so, we wouldn’t be here today. Seems we like overthrowing leaders then putting in our puppets and when they aren’t doing us any good anymore, we overthrow them too and each time things get progressively worse. Just look at Libya for an example.

Tell me, why didn’t we support the Iranian people when they started an uprising back a couple of years ago? The big “O” was behind Egypt but not the Iranians.. he stood by and did nothing as they were trying to overthrow their leaders. It‘s amazing now to watch us roar and fume about Syria as well knowing FULL WELL it’s the MB again ramping up the violence there. It‘s a civil war and we’re screaming about the government trying to put down the violence. If it falls, there will be more terrorists in charge just like in Egypt and Libya.. we’re doing such a WONDERFUL job.

Just wondering, does the NDAA apply to our own government? Being as we’re supporting terrorists in these countries.

Islam‘s so called profit Muhammad didn’t like dogs as pets.

    “Islam and dogs” http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_and_dogs

Muslims generally cast dogs in a negative light because of their ritual impurity.
Muhammad didn’t like dogs according to Sunni tradition.
It is said, that angels do not enter a house which contains a dog.
Though dogs are not allowed for pets, they are allowed to be kept if used for work, such as guarding the house or farm, or when used for hunting purposes.
In a tradition found in the Sunni hadith book, al-Muwatta, Muhammad states that the company of dogs voids a portion of a Muslim’s good deeds.

Because Islam considers dogs in general to be unclean,[1] many Muslim taxi drivers and store owners have refused to accommodate customers who have guide dogs.[10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18] In 2003, the Islamic Sharia Council, based in the United Kingdom, ruled that the ban on dogs does not apply to those used for guide work.[19]

As it pertains to dogs, even though muslim law will allow these wonderful animals to serve as guides, any blind muslim basta*d doesnt deserve the services of these wonderful “angels of mercy.” No satan-worshipping muslim deserves to be befriended by such a devoted companion.

Not me – I don’t need anything from a candidate except for them to do their job and cut Govt Waste and spending. I don’t need them to legalize pot for me – give me temporary Health Care – or welfare – and I certainly don’t need a politician to be my Messiah.

Why don’t we throw out all the millions of illegals in America, then bring the whole Jewish population (approx. six million) of Israel over here to our country.
There are way more than six million illegals in America. Jewish people contribute to society. They don’t suckle on the teats of the tax payers, like most of the illegals do.

Then Iran can have that tiny piece of land known as Israel. They have been using the “lie” of trying to obtain that “land” for thousands of years.
It’s not the land they are after, it’s the total annihilation of millions of Jews, that they actually want. It has nothing to do with land.

If we let them take over Israel, then we will be next. Islamists hate Christians. Islamists are jealous of we Westerners’ way of life.

      Stop this war-mongering. Its unseemly.

Support Israel. Maybe even defend them if they are directly attacked. Outside of that, wasn’t it enough for FDR to form the UN, who then created Israel, and we have given them enough aid and support for 60 years, and paid a price in blood and treasure nearly unmatched in human history?

Are we to give it all, till our own termination??? Even B. Netanayhu doesn’t lay that guilt at our feet.

We are already involved in a religious war. In Islamic ideology, where we reside is called Dar al Harb, The Realm of War. The war may be on a simmer for time being, or waged by different “all the stratagems of war” as the Profit put it. It is waged nonetheless.

We can dig our heads deep in sand. The deeper it is, the higher the price will be to fight it, when the simmer turns to red hot firestorm. You say peace, they understand truce and they’ll do everything to have an advantage after the truce no longer suit their designs.

If Iran gets nuclear weapons, it will not be able to wipe Israel off the map unless it wants to engage in mutual destruction. Because of that, Israel has no worry of being annihilated, They say that only as an excuse or justification for bombing Iran.

It’s nonsense for Israel to pretend as if they need to bomb Iran in order to avert another Holocaust.

Israel doesn’t want Iran to get nuclear weapons strictly because it would constitute a standoff situation, and Israel would not have the bullying power it has right now.

What changes when two countries have mutual destructive nuclear power is that any wars between them would have to be conventional ones. And Iran is too big and powerful for tiny Israel to be able to defeat with conventional forces. Therefore, the bullying power Israel enjoys right now would be null and void. But they are in no danger of annihilation.

The great danger here is not Iran wiping Israel off the map, but Israel attacking Iran which could very possibly ignite WWIII.

Are we ready to suffer terrorist attacks here in the US from sleeper cells already here and in Mexico and Central/S. America and outright world war by allowing Israel to attack Iran?

Although that scenario is more a possibility than any other, it is strange we don’t hear anyone pointing that out among any of the talking heads on t.v. Why not?

Really? Israel has God on their side. Is God ‘conventional’? Tread lightly my friend.

Israel is SURROUNDED by an enemy that hates their (ours as well) guts. I’ve been to that part of the world and they truly HATE the Jews. It sounds as if you hold some animosity towards them as well.

Robert – do you just make this stuff up or did you pull it out of butt!

Israel has the power of God behind them – they are not worried about Iran and their false doctrine. The Bible says that Iran and Russia strikes first and then all hell breaks loose – I’m not going to spoil the end of the book for you. You’ll have to read the Bible for yourself to see who is still standing when the dust settles.

Armageddon is not just a movie – it is a piece of land outside of Nazareth – There is going to be a Battle at Armageddon.

Oh don’t worry – it wont happen for Centuries – in fact it happens just a few months after the One World Government takes over – that has got to be 100′s of years from now! Right! Not if Obama and Soros have there way!

Great Book you should read it – some of you may have a hard time reading from that Giant Bible you have on your Coffee table, so I might suggest you get a smaller one – beside the one on the table is there to show guest in your house how much of a Christian you are – until you run across the Millions of people that have read the Bible and can tell your not a Christian by who you voted for in the last election. A little Sarcasm – just to get people to WAKE UP.

“I’ve been to that part of the world and they truly HATE the Jews. It sounds as if you hold some animosity towards them as well. ”

My “animosity” consists of not wanting to start WWIII. If the US would back off from supporting Israel militarily I wouldnt care what they did, quite frankly.

But I‘m fully aware Israel’s Muslim neighbors hate Jews. The same is true of the Muslim populations that have immigrated to countries in the West. In fact, France has quite a problem with anti-semitism in its “no-go zones” of Muslim emigres. And, I think Jewish civilians have more to fear in other countries than they do in Israel, because they’re more vulnerable.

But the state of Israel would not, in my opinion, be attacked by Iran or anybody else in the region, unless they wanted to be annihilated. Radical Muslim extremists do some crazy things, but I seriously doubt as if the leaders are ready to start a nuclear war for anybody that would guarantee their own destruction, including the 12th Imam believed to be returning by the shia.

And so far as your opinion that I don’tlike Israel or Jews goes, I can say that my gripe with them is mostly because they have went overboard with bullying in their many attacks on the civilian populations in that area. If you want to read something into that, you’re free to do so. It won’t change my opinion any.

Israel needs to sit down and negotiate instead of dictate.

Biggest Misconception about Ron Paul is that he will not go to war, his biggest thing is the president deciding like a dicatator to take us to war… He thinks it should be congress that delclares war. I agree with him, if it had been congress to delcare war then we wouldnt of been fiddling in Libya, or be in Africa right now. Paul has stated he doesnt want Iran to have a nuke, but he doesnt want to rush to war without a vote from congress either.

Indeed, the battle is all but guaranteed at this point; and I still see Obama siding with Iran in the matter after he allows Israel to attack. He will use US troops to invade Israel, there have been over the last two years articles across the national military sights for the army and air force along the lines of ‘how the US could seize Israel” and such.

It’s true that we are hearing these kinds of warnings from Iran a lot more lately. I think Iran is trying to push Israel into attacking her. By doing so, the rest of the Middle East will come to the aid of Iran and go up against Israel. If Iran on the other hand attacks Israel first, it’s a way out for the rest of the Middle East not to support Iran.

      What an ignorant comment.

First of all, Iran never said they would “wipe Israel off the map.” That was a misinterpreted translation. The Iranians don’t even have that figure of speech in Farsi. That doesn’t take away the fact that Iran is a thread. I am a HUGE Ron Paul fan but I worry about Iran and think they are a potential threat to the Middle East and the rest of the world. But, not in the context that Rick Santorum or Newt Gingrich. Iran is clearly saying, “if we are threatened or attacked” which means if they will defend themselves. Isn’t that logical? Wouldn’t Israel or the US do that same thing? I mean, how hypocritical are all of you? This is the same warmongering that went on before Iraq and look how that turned out. One more thing, there is a difference between “Israeli regime” and Jewish people. They make the case that Israel as a government is oppressive, not Judaism. Please do some research.

Ron Paul’s foreign policy views are much more radical than even Obama’s. Paul disapproves of Obama’s drone strikes on terrorists, and would shutter all U.S. Military bases abroad. Paul says he would not have ordered the killing of Osama bin Laden among other absurd statements he has made regarding terrorists, terrorism, radical Islam, Israel, WWII and the Holocaust. Paul IMO has all the signs of demetia and is just as dangerous to America’s interests here and abroad as Obama.

Ron Paul’s foreign policy views would stand out even in a field of the most liberal Democrats in America. In fact, Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich, perhaps the most left-wing presidential candidate ever besides Obama, has said he and Paul “agree tremendously on international policy.” Paul says he’d consider naming Kucinich to his Cabinet… perhaps as head of a newly formed “Department of Peace.”

Ron Paul’s views of America and its place in the world go beyond the liberal appeasement of Obama or Kucinich. In fact, in their sheer conspiratorial lunacy, they align more closely with Obama’s Rearend J. Wright. Wright described the attacks as “America’s chickens coming home to roost” (a statement, btw, that both Malcom X and Ron Paul has used), and Paul said of America, “We’re the same as al-Qaeda.”

Ron Paul is a fool, or he has lost it. When he DOES have moments of lucidity (talking about some economic issues we face), it doesn’t take more than a few moments that his d
